Hawaiian Punch I made one for mines a year ago. I used a sheet metal from Lowe’s or Home Depot, made my measurements and used high adhesive thermal blanket on the turbo side to deflect all the heat from the intake side.
@@quickshiftmyk1695 im assuming an adjustable one? I have a b6 and our stock fuel system has the regulator built in to the fuel filter. Some have claimed to have needed a ‘’high flow’’ filter from jh motorsport
Tirec Chatman Yes it’s E85 rated and the B6 should be similar but I’m not 100% sure. You can either buy that plate to make life a lot easier or modify the stock basket to make it fit
In my opinion the small section of stock smaller gauge wire will eventually burn up. Probably would’ve been better to replace it since you already were adding more wire. Otherwise very clean and awesome video. I’m going to replace my stock fuel pump soon.

Any issues with excessive fuel pressure at idle?
No. None at all. Fuel can be regulated using a Fuel Pressure regulator

Is the pump e85 too. .and do the b6 have the same pump...and do I need that plate

Dee I got mines from my tuner directly but if you look on eBay, 034 or USP Motorsports sells them. “Billet Drop-in Fuel Pump Adapter”

Danni Iliasoff no they are not. They wouldn’t cause a huge voltage drop just don’t go too big
