I've not let anyone take any pictures of me for more than 8 years because I did not feel good about myself and my appearance. Now I see that pictures are ways to commemorate myself in different stages of my life, and I regret not having pictures of myself for so long.
@@inez25 I also haven't taken pictures of myself in about 8 years, since I was 20 and now I'm 28. I have had some really amazing times, like vacations and just important events, and not a single picture of me for almost all of my 20's. I'm still not really wild about having my picture taken, but I'll allow it and just not look at it. At least then I can choose to look at the pictures later on if I feel like it. But really working on being okay/more comfortable with myself and my body.

when you said "does trusting your hunger make you afraid you're going to overeat?" I let out this breath I didn't even know I'd been holding. I am in a much better place with food than I've ever been in my life, yet I still have to reassure myself its ok to eat full, delicious meals and snacks because I need them and simultaneously, if I deny my body them, I will binge down the line and I'll be devastated and unhealthier for it. on days where I tune into my hunger and respect my fullness I never berate myself for having eaten "too much". how can u still be teaching me things when ive watched your videos for so long lmao thank YOU

My "resolution" is to move my body every day. That means a workout, or yoga, stretching...or even a short walk. The past months I have been shit with workouts, and I just didn't feel good, I felt like I failed myself. Going on walks really helps me clear my head even if I don't feel good enough to workout.
Yoga is better than workouts in my opinion.... well I tried doing a workout for 2 weeks and I started feeling less productive and tired and honestly I didn't see any difference(I think it's because of my body?) But then I tried yoga and instead of making me tired I felt soo energized and fresh and I could see a small result in the second day... so try doing yoga everyday.Dont forget to breathe and dont force yourself.. do everything patiently♡

This is amazing! We are taught that workouts should be to make us “fit” and “skinny” and we should be exhausted and blah blah and that’s just not it. Moving your body in ways that you love is so much more important! Working out does make you feel better but only if you do things you enjoy rather than making it a chore. The other day I was sick of walks and didn’t want to do a TH-cam workout so I just rollerbladed. It was the best!

I just love how Linda is. She doesn't feed into the culture of always loving yourself in every second and every moment no matter your weight or look, but she shows it's fine to have goals, as long as you do it right. I was telling myself that 2021 will be my year. I was supposed to do exercises and have a healthy lifestyle from 1st jan but I kept postponing it. But since yesterday, I have started chloe ting's shred and healthy food and also some ways to be peaceful. Hopefully I won't get tired or unproductive again and I can actually achieve a healthy and happy lifestyle this year. Wish everyone who is struggling to do so good luck and *fighting* 💜

I love the part with Annie Long! I've actually started working out a month ago, using the principle you use: "I eat and do what feels good", without ever reading labels or stressing about calories. and let me tell you: I GAINED TWO INCHES ON MY HIPS. At first I was confused, but then I realized. My body was supposed to have those two extra inches. I've had food issues, including a milder case of anorexia, when I was younger. I was depraving my body of the shape and weight it was supposed to have. I was rejecting food I wanted to eat. Now I just don't look at my body that way anymore. I want it to feel good and strong, and the commitment to this alone made me look and feel so much better.
That’s so true, having confidence is the ultimate glow up! There is truly so much more to it than just the outward change. The changes made inside of who you are as a person matters immensely more 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽. We all got this and it takes time and that’s ok. The journey is worth it to love yourself

I'm 16 and my parents (mainly my dad) is low key obsessed with what I eat and how much food I eat and if I worked out or not and every I want a snack he says I don't need it and it'll make fat and unhealthy and he always pokes my stomach even tho I tell him it makes feel insecure when he does that. Also, make sure you’re not allergic to baking soda!! I didn’t realize that I was. No one tells you this when they advertise the product, but a common ingredient in natural deodorants is baking soda (Native DOES have a “sensitive” baking soda free version though! I just wasn’t aware of this beforehand 🥰) Also make sure you’re not allergic to any of their natural oils. I’m also allergic to coconut oils used by Native (something I ALSO didn’t know until after trying the product). Just a heads up! 🥰
Hey Linda, i met you in the half of 2020 and i was in a horrible relationship with food, i remember you replying my comment where i was saying how much i like it peanut butter and how i missed eating it, you were very kind with your response, I was feeling so bad that i almost cried. I stopped watching your videos and of many youtubers with the same mindset because to me y'all were just not being honest, but then i realized that it's so much better listen to yourself and priotize your mental healthy aswell. I was eating 600 calories per day and now i don't even knowing how much calories i'm eating and still being able to feel pretty and strong. Here is my story: I have never been overweight but beginning last year i decided to lose weight. I was skinny, no big bum or anything but i was SOOO happy. I took pictures EVERY day bc of how comfortable i was with myself. Then everyone got worried like "You are way to skinny" "You are too skinny, it doesn't look nice anymore." (Yes i was very low in weight but not underweight) And the best part, i even had enough strengh to workout like before, i never felt weak. But it was true, i was really skinny. So i decided to gain muscle. And now, i have a booty, awesome muscles everywhere and am normal weight But i am so unhappy. I don’t want a big bum I don’t want to have those muscles because i was strong without them too So i wanna lose weight again. Bc i was way happier with the skinny me. All those curves are beautiful, yes, but i am not happy at all, and it is my body and i decide to be skinny. So, see you when i lost weight. :)
1.Lower your protein consumption and eat more carbs. It will help with losing muscle. 2. Don't use heavy weights while working out. 3. Love your body always and don't let other people's opinions get in your head.❤

Carbs are crucial in giving your body energy and you should try and view food as fuel, carbs are made out to make you fat as they are in quite a lot of high calorie foods which make it easy to cause you to eat in a calorie surplus which will cause you to put on weight. So happy you’ve found out they don’t make you fat, go you !!!!

Like she said, your external appearance will not help your inner struggles, and no matter what size you are if you can't come to peace with your body, your mind will never be satisfied. I am in better shape now than I have been in years but I am not happier mentally. I have also been neglecting foods which would feed my soul and have previously made me happy because now I'm so afraid to gain the weight back and lose my 'progress', but a few months ago I was eating intuitively and not restricting and I was still losing weight, so I thank you for reminding me to be kind to myself. I think it's an important lesson to heal your relationship with your body first and thank you for sharing such a raw and authentic perspective on it ❤️

I just love how Linda is. She doesn't feed into the culture of always loving yourself in every second and every moment no matter your weight or look, but she shows it's fine to have goals, as long as you do it right. Because sometimes we don't love ourselves 100000% and sometimes we don't have good days and that's fine, but we can't give up. Especially not on our mentality. I was telling myself that 2021 will be my year. I was supposed to do exercises and have a healthy lifestyle from 1st jan but I kept postponing it. But since yesterday, I have started chloe ting's shred and healthy food and also some ways to be peaceful. Hopefully I won't get tired or unproductive again and I can actually achieve a healthy and happy lifestyle this year.

I love the part with Annie Long! I've actually started working out a month ago, using the principle you use: "I eat and do what feels good", without ever reading labels or stressing about calories. and let me tell you: I GAINED TWO INCHES ON MY HIPS.
At first I was confused, but then I realized. My body was supposed to have those two extra inches. I've had food issues, including a milder case of anorexia, when I was younger. I was depraving my body of the shape and weight it was supposed to have. I was rejecting food I wanted to eat.
Now I just don't look at my body that way anymore. I want it to feel good and strong, and the commitment to this alone made me look and feel so much better.
Linda, always remember, _you are not too big, but you have a really big heart_ ❤️

I love people like Linda. She's so lucky to have around who sends good vibes and who cares about her a lot and allows her to do the things she does (I know she's a young adult). I'm 16 and my parents (mainly my dad) is low key obsessed with what I eat and how much food I eat and if I worked out or not and every I want a snack he says I don't need it and it'll make fat and unhealthy and he always pokes my stomach even tho I tell him it makes feel insecure when he does that. Also, make sure you’re not allergic to baking soda!! I didn’t realize that I was. No one tells you this when they advertise the product, but a common ingredient in natural deodorants is baking soda (Native DOES have a “sensitive” baking soda free version though! I just wasn’t aware of this beforehand 🥰) Also make sure you’re not allergic to any of their natural oils. I’m also allergic to coconut oils used by Native (something I ALSO didn’t know until after trying the product). Just a heads up! 🥰

Hey Linda, i met you in the half of 2020 and i was in a horrible relationship with food, i remember you replying my comment where i was saying how much i like it peanut butter and how i missed eating it, you were very kind with your response, I was feeling so bad that i almost cried. I stopped watching your videos and of many youtubers with the same mindset because to me y'all were just not being honest, but then i realized that it's so much better listen to yourself and priotize your mental healthy aswell. I was eating 600 calories per day and now i don't even knowing how much calories i'm eating and still being able to feel pretty and strong. Here is my story:
I have never been overweight but beginning last year i decided to lose weight. I was skinny, no big bum or anything but i was SOOO happy. I took pictures EVERY day bc of how comfortable i was with myself.
Then everyone got worried like "You are way to skinny" "You are too skinny, it doesn't look nice anymore."
(Yes i was very low in weight but not underweight)
And the best part, i even had enough strengh to workout like before, i never felt weak.
But it was true, i was really skinny.
So i decided to gain muscle.
And now, i have a booty, awesome muscles everywhere and am normal weight
But i am so unhappy.
I don’t want a big bum
I don’t want to have those muscles because i was strong without them too
So i wanna lose weight again.
Bc i was way happier with the skinny me. All those curves are beautiful, yes, but i am not happy at all, and it is my body and i decide to be skinny. So, see you when i lost weight. :)

Carbs are crucial in giving your body energy and you should try and view food as fuel, carbs are made out to make you fat as they are in quite a lot of high calorie foods which make it easy to cause you to eat in a calorie surplus which will cause you to put on weight. So happy you’ve found out they don’t make you fat, go you !!!!

Like she said, your external appearance will not help your inner struggles, and no matter what size you are if you can't come to peace with your body, your mind will never be satisfied. I am in better shape now than I have been in years but I am not happier mentally. I have also been neglecting foods which would feed my soul and have previously made me happy because now I'm so afraid to gain the weight back and lose my 'progress', but a few months ago I was eating intuitively and not restricting and I was still losing weight, so I thank you for reminding me to be kind to myself. I think it's an important lesson to heal your relationship with your body first and thank you for sharing such a raw and authentic perspective on it ❤️
