Im so proud of romee, she lost her period for 6 years because of over exercising and she was devastated because she couldnt have kids, so she decided to change her lifestyle and start eating balanced and stopped overworking herself and then she finally got her period. @@liliuou That depends on the underlying problem. I suggest you see your primary care provider or gynecologist, if this is something you're experiencing. Stress, poor nutrition, working out in excess, hormonal birth control, and many other variables can cause you to "lose" your period. Best of luck to you:)

I drank smoothies every day when I was sick with an ED. I remember my dietician challenging me to swap out one smoothie a week with oatmeal. I'm so glad I listened to her and eventually found freedom. We made pancakes (with chocolate chips!) and had smoothies for breakfast this morning because I genuinely felt like something refreshing and sweet. Recovery is possible and I hope everyone can find balance and peace someday
I think one thing to keep in mind about Adriana and why it might be so extreme is that she was the oldest angel for quite a bit, and she stayed 20 years with VS. When you think about it, it is waaaay harder to keep the same body you had when you were 18. I am 99% sure that she used to be more like the other angels, but getting older she had to become more extreme, to keep the same body.
Also I know she gave an interview where she described a really restrictive diet and she basically said that 1. Shed never do it again and 2. That she only did it cause she had like 2-4 months to get back in shape after giving birth but I havent gotten to that part of the video.yet so idk if that's the one

Yesterday I was at the mall and this lady who knew me while I didn’t remember her called me fat and said that I should start walking more cause and I quote “you don’t wanna be a huge 50 year old do you” I wanted to cry, but I didn’t, see this woman talked to me like she has been in my house everyday but she hasn’t she isn’t there to know that I have been doing Lilly Sabris workouts 5 or more days a week because we love sweating and having the shower after she she wasn’t there when I went out for runs with my sister because we love finally seeing our house as the finish line. And to be honest if I have never found Linda’s channel I would have cried, Linda changed my way of thinking she made me realize that people will talk every single one of us has an opinion and if we listen to one billion opinions when will we stop to hear our opinion our bodies opinion when will we stop tj breathe and smile, that woman acted like she knew me but I know me and I know I’m strong and I know I’m enough. You’re so original and real. I mean, you know how difficult is to find someone real in this social media Era? Some people doesn’t even look real anymore, I mean the way they speak and they do things, the way their life is it just looks so fake. But you don’t, compare to others you inspire me and motivate me. While I’m looking your videos I’m not thinking “I don’t have money for travel to those places” or “I don’t have that kind of life with all those friends and the perfect boyfriend” or maybe “I definitely don’t have the time for that”. I love the advice you give in here. The last couple of days I have wanted some chocolates and "more food than usual" so I decided to go with it. Well, today I woke up with NO hunger- NONE. I have not eaten anything because I am just not hungry and I feel great today! I am trying to break free of diet culture thinking and talk and these videos of yours are helping me so soooo SOOOOO much 💜 thank you! I also have not done my exercise plan the way it is "supposed" to be in the last 2 days and it is actually working out really well as I can honestly look back and see I was pushing the boundaries of burnout! Learning to listen to our bodily queues is such a beautiful process 🤩 and is making me much happier than following rigid diet and exercise plans.

Just rewatched this video a year later and I love the message so much. To me, the truest version of being "in tune with" your body is taking what works for you and leaving what doesn't. For recognising that literally every body is so vastly, uniquely and gloriously different, and that the attempt to be like others, to do the same things as others and implement the same structures, routines, habits, etc., as others takes us so far away from our own Intuition and connection to our bodies, which is ironically what we were seeking for to begin with.
I cried in the intro, really. I don't know why, but as a person who has been trying hard and struggling to lose weight and trying to look like a girl with a 'perfect body, I truly appreciate what you just said. I was always restricting myself to eat what I want just to not gain weight. But after I watched some of your videos, I realized that what the fuck am I doing to my life? "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder" No one is born ugly or pretty, we were born in a judgmental society. I was comfortable with my body when I was younger, i was at a healthy weight. That was until I met my friend's mother. She started talking about how big I was and joked about it, this was when i was conscious about myself. She and i are Vietnamese, and Vietnamese tend to talk about your weight if you aren't skinny enough. I've been through many diets, but end up crashing because I loved junk food. I thought being on a diet meant you can't have cheat meals, exercise everyday, and when I missed a day, I would feel guilty. It took me many years to understand, that you should eat your favourite food sometimes, not everyday to the point that you hate yourself. I started eating healthy around almost 2 months ago, and I'm on a journey to lose 5kg, the healthy way, I have a cheat meal once a week to keep my stomach and my mind happy. Don't restrict yourself, life is too short to block out your favourite foods, enjoy everything moderately. Healthy foods can be yummy too! Block out toxic "friends". Stay healthy and safe everyone

All my mothers friends are so fucking toxic and I feel like so many people go through bad habits (me included) because of what they say. So don’t listen to that and just enjoy life. You don’t need to be skinny to be happy. Surround yourself with good people who support you and care about you for who you are and not for how you look like!!❤️
My grandmother is like this, but she's Chinese-Cambodian. I don't think she means it to be rude though, considering where she came from, and her life circumstances-- she had done the same to my brothers. Though I do believe I don't deserve that, and my mom gets real pissed when she does that, but I just take it with a grain of salt and keep moving on.

I’m Russian and we eat hella buckwheat so here are a few ways you can eat it (First of all cook the buckwheat and then add butter and salt to it) •you can add milk to heated up buckwheat or eat it cold (kinda like cereal) also it’s really good if you add sugar to that •you can fry it in a pan with a sunny side up egg •its really good with some type of gravy with meat in it too •you can fry it in a pan with some carrots •or you can just eat it as a grain by itself or as a side to something •its also good when added in salads

Even if the models don't wanna be too skinny, they are forced to do so by their management. I don't know why the new model look is "too skinny that you almost die". It's so disappointing to see that.
I'd recently watched a video of someone from the fashion industry explaining why models need to be skinny. It has something to do with all the models having negligible difference in size so the outfits don't have to go under any alterations.
ik it’s sad I do modeling and I play volleyball but it’s hard bc volleyball is a masculine sport and I can’t be to bulky because of modeling but I need the strength to play
@@ItisMOI Well, there are many models who look "too skinny". Even I get annoyed when people say they want to get "skinny" rather than being healthy and strong.
The things these models advertise they eat is obviously to seem more relatable. Yes, I believe they eat it, but it's rare. And they don't tell you about what they eat normally. Which imo is kind of... Worse. Because then people wonder why they can't eat like that and be skinny.
The last months have been the very last steps to overcome my anorexia, I guess I've been like 90% recovered for 2 years. I was still a bit underweight, but I could enjoy life and workout to get stronger and have fun while doing it. But eating still was more like a task I had to complete and it was stressful to get enough calories in and my weight gain was so slow. Linda just showed me how delightful food can be and it just clicked. I have gained some weight and am on a healthy weight for the first time in years and I just feel so good!!! Thank you, Linda!
When I saw the buckwheat I instantly knew I was waiting for this moment my whole life, as I’m from a post-soviet country where we consume it like air daily. My all-time favorite combo is buckwheat with soy sauce, pumpkin oil (or any oil you like), a lil sugar, and half an avocado! Trust me, once you try it you can never go back. Also of course any other combos, like buckwheat with milk, white sauce, or simply as a side is a good idea.

I've been struggling with and ED for about ten years and had prepared myself to maybe get a bit triggered by this video but the way you opened it and the things you had to say about unrealistic body types and how we try and force ourselves to obtain them just really got me. I don't like when people call their bodies unrealistic or fake bodies. My best friend has that body naturally she's always been like that since we're kids. Bodies are different.
this video made me cry so hard. you were the reason i started working out 6 months ago.. firstly i fell in love with the way you talked about exercising then i fell in love with training in particular. 6 months after, while i was working out i injured my knee really really bad. the pain was from another world but the biggest pain from the beggining was knowing i wont be able to work out for a long time. i felt so helpless, i felt like everything i was doing was pointless, that all my progress will get lost and that i will lose my passion because i would be afraid. its not about the looks tho.. its about the feeling.. I cant talk to anyone for this cause no one uderstands me.. my parents say that i am overeacting and that i am talking like " a gym freak", but its not like that. Its like, i have tried so hard in my life to get my goals done (i used to weight aaa lottt), but everytime it was all about wrong ways (i lost 26 kg by eating 500-600 kcals daily), i know so damn good how easy it is to lose motivation. Working out was the only good choice i ever took about my body and my mental health. It got me feeling like a brand new person, strong, confident. Now i cant do nothing to feel these again and my mind and thoughts are in a very dark place.. i dont know why i am writing all these here and i am sorry.. i just have the need to express my feelings and maybe hear an opinion from someone that has been thru the same.. ( also sorry for my english if something is wrong, is no my mother language)

Yesterday I was at the mall and this lady who knew me while I didn’t remember her called me fat and said that I should start walking more cause and I quote “you don’t wanna be a huge 50 year old do you”
I wanted to cry, but I didn’t, see this woman talked to me like she has been in my house everyday but she hasn’t she isn’t there to know that I have been doing Lilly Sabris workouts 5 or more days a week because we love sweating and having the shower after she she wasn’t there when I went out for runs with my sister because we love finally seeing our house as the finish line.
And to be honest if I have never found Linda’s channel I would have cried, Linda changed my way of thinking she made me realize that people will talk every single one of us has an opinion and if we listen to one billion opinions when will we stop to hear our opinion our bodies opinion when will we stop tj breathe and smile, that woman acted like she knew me but I know me and I know I’m strong and I know I’m enough.
To anyone who feels bad about their body or their appearance YOU ARE ENOUGH no matter what anyone else tells you.

i just recently discovered this channel but i’m already astounded by how positive linda is. tbh i’m constantly comparing myself to people like vs models/angels or other celebrities but i love how linda’s not treating the angels as perpetuating the “ideal” body type, but trying out and appreciating their workouts and diets while not degrading her own worth ❤️

The last couple of days I have wanted some chocolates and "more food than usual" so I decided to go with it.
Well, today I woke up with NO hunger- NONE. I have not eaten anything because I am just not hungry and I feel great today!

I just wanted to comment saying thank you, I feel that I’m slowly relapsing and falling back into my Ed after recovering from my past 7 year episode. This video and your way of turning all experiences positive has made me see things differently. I’m attempting to create a positive environment for myself through the food I eat and creating a healthy relationship with exercise. So, thank you, you’ve really opened my eyes :)
You’re doing great! Recovery is never a straight line, it’s normal to relapse before you can recover. Keep going, you can do this!

I cannot forget about the 'birthday cake' episode...when Yolanda share a crumble of cake with Gigi saying that it was enough, i was shocked!! I hardly believe that someone who lived like that her whole childhood life can now have a truly healthy relationship with food but i hope it for her.

Just rewatched this video a year later and I love the message so much. To me, the truest version of being "in tune with" your body is taking what works for you and leaving what doesn't. For recognising that literally every body is so vastly, uniquely and gloriously different, and that the attempt to be like others, to do the same things as others and implement the same structures, routines, habits, etc., as others takes us so far away from our own Intuition and connection to our bodies, which is ironically what we were seeking for to begin with.
Just think about how many people Linda is inspiring and motivating right now. Wow.

No one is born ugly or pretty, we were born in a judgmental society. I was comfortable with my body when I was younger, i was at a healthy weight. That was until I met my friend's mother. She started talking about how big I was and joked about it, this was when i was conscious about myself. She and i are Vietnamese, and Vietnamese tend to talk about your weight if you aren't skinny enough. I've been through many diets, but end up crashing because I loved junk food. I thought being on a diet meant you can't have cheat meals, exercise everyday, and when I missed a day, I would feel guilty. It took me many years to understand, that you should eat your favourite food sometimes, not everyday to the point that you hate yourself. I started eating healthy around almost 2 months ago, and I'm on a journey to lose 5kg, the healthy way, I have a cheat meal once a week to keep my stomach and my mind happy. Don't restrict yourself, life is too short to block out your favourite foods, enjoy everything moderately. Healthy foods can be yummy too!

I’m Vietnamese too and the pressure is insane. All my mothers friends are so fucking toxic and I feel like so many people go through bad habits (me included) because of what they say. So don’t listen to that and just enjoy life. You don’t need to be skinny to be happy. Surround yourself with good people who support you and care about you for who you are and not for how you look like!!❤️

My grandmother is like this, but she's Chinese-Cambodian. I don't think she means it to be rude though, considering where she came from, and her life circumstances-- she had done the same to my brothers. Though I do believe I don't deserve that, and my mom gets real pissed when she does that, but I just take it with a grain of salt and keep moving on.

I’m Russian and we eat hella buckwheat so here are a few ways you can eat it
(First of all cook the buckwheat and then add butter and salt to it)
•you can add milk to heated up buckwheat or eat it cold (kinda like cereal) also it’s really good if you add sugar to that
•you can fry it in a pan with a sunny side up egg
•its really good with some type of gravy with meat in it too
•you can fry it in a pan with some carrots
•or you can just eat it as a grain by itself or as a side to something
•its also good when added in salads
Linda, I just want to say one thing. because of you is my body image and mental health went from 10 % to 80%! I'm still working on this but they say trust the progress, so I will. You're so inspirational for me and you inspire me in a way no one else can. I just wanted to say that, You're the best.
Even if the models don't wanna be too skinny, they are forced to do so by their management. I don't know why the new model look is "too skinny that you almost die". It's so disappointing to see that.
I'd recently watched a video of someone from the fashion industry explaining why models need to be skinny. It has something to do with all the models having negligible difference in size so the outfits don't have to go under any alterations.

ik it’s sad I do modeling and I play volleyball but it’s hard bc volleyball is a masculine sport and I can’t be to bulky because of modeling but I need the strength to play

The things these models advertise they eat is obviously to seem more relatable. Yes, I believe they eat it, but it's rare. And they don't tell you about what they eat normally. Which imo is kind of... Worse. Because then people wonder why they can't eat like that and be skinny.
The last months have been the very last steps to overcome my anorexia, I guess I've been like 90% recovered for 2 years. I was still a bit underweight, but I could enjoy life and workout to get stronger and have fun while doing it. But eating still was more like a task I had to complete and it was stressful to get enough calories in and my weight gain was so slow. Linda just showed me how delightful food can be and it just clicked. I have gained some weight and am on a healthy weight for the first time in years and I just feel so good!!! Thank you, Linda!

When I saw the buckwheat I instantly knew I was waiting for this moment my whole life, as I’m from a post-soviet country where we consume it like air daily. My all-time favorite combo is buckwheat with soy sauce, pumpkin oil (or any oil you like), a lil sugar, and half an avocado! Trust me, once you try it you can never go back. Also of course any other combos, like buckwheat with milk, white sauce, or simply as a side is a good idea.
I am so grateful to have found you. When I first started watching your videos I wanted to be you because I love your positivity and beautiful outlook on life. You've made me see that I don't need to be someone else to change for the better. I now see my life in a totally different way so that I have more positivity than I ever did before and can enjoy MY life rather than wanting to be or be like someone else. THANKYOU

I've been struggling with and ED for about ten years and had prepared myself to maybe get a bit triggered by this video but the way you opened it and the things you had to say about unrealistic body types and how we try and force ourselves to obtain them just really got me. this video made me cry so hard. you were the reason i started working out 6 months ago.. firstly i fell in love with the way you talked about exercising then i fell in love with training in particular. 6 months after, while i was working out i injured my knee really really bad. the pain was from another world but the biggest pain from the beggining was knowing i wont be able to work out for a long time. i felt so helpless, i felt like everything i was doing was pointless, that all my progress will get lost and that i will lose my passion because i would be afraid. its not about the looks tho.. its about the feeling.. I cant talk to anyone for this cause no one uderstands me.. my parents say that i am overeacting and that i am talking like " a gym freak", but its not like that. Its like, i have tried so hard in my life to get my goals done (i used to weight aaa lottt), but everytime it was all about wrong ways (i lost 26 kg by eating 500-600 kcals daily), i know so damn good how easy it is to lose motivation. Working out was the only good choice i ever took about my body and my mental health. It got me feeling like a brand new person, strong, confident. Now i cant do nothing to feel these again and my mind and thoughts are in a very dark place.. i dont know why i am writing all these here and i am sorry.. i just have the need to express my feelings and maybe hear an opinion from someone that has been thru the same.. ( also sorry for my english if something is wrong, is no my mother language)
