What's funny about this vlog is that at some point in the old timeline, Stephen will probably complain about the toilet, and half of the comments will be like "Again?" and at some point those people will be confused that the toilet hadn't been fixed.
The feeling of knowing that this was yesterday is a great feeling. 😄😄
The "Let's meet back *tomorrow*, shall we?" gave me shivers with hype. Sooooo excited to have these up-to-date vlogs!!

Now imagine having a family of 5 sharing a single bathroom for at least 3 years. That was me during early teen years. Although I think about halfway through that time, my sister went to college, so for a fair chunk we were down to 4. Still..."fond" memories.
I love that we're getting the end of the noisy toilet saga now, and won't be getting the beginning until the second timeline catches up.
Regarding the router situation, here's my understanding: if you have two routers (your modem and yours) doing network address translation (NAT), you have to port forward twice. Once at the inner router to your machine, and once at the outer router to the inner router. You can do that, or have one of them in bridge mode. Best of luck, I hope you were able to sort it today.

Ohhhh yes, current vlogs!! There's just something about seeing the previous days, and it's fun to compare my day to yours! (I've done that and sometimes we've been just miles apart due to road trips and such) and it's super cool to see!
Omg, i saw that tweet and it was like a week ago. Was pretty worried about the timeline split being confusing, and i still am tbh. I'll be happier when the old timeline is caught up so that confusion disappears, but this is definitely a change for the better

Both of the houses I've owned since I've been married (24 years and counting) have had only one bathroom, and my wife and I have three kids. You live in a world of luxury I can't even fathom, Stephen. ;)

I actually am having the same issue with the loud toilet at my parent's house. Though, it seems to be not as loud as the one shown in the twitter video. Due to my sleep schedule being the complete opposite from everyone else in my home, I am unable to use the restroom in the night in fear of waking people up. It sucks :x

Excuse me, but if Stephen and Mal think that only having ONE working toilet being shared by two people is annoying, they should try having two more people living with them while only having one working toilet, and see how much worse it is for your mental health. Two people sharing a toilet is NOTHING compared to FOUR people sharing one toilet.
I say this from personal experience. (nods confirmingly)
I related to this growing up. With my parents and 3 brothers it was always a fist fight for the one bathroom.
