Red gem? That's the Phantom Ruby. Also, Infinite was not created, he was from a clan called the Jackal Clan, and was confronted by Eggman, and decided to join the Eggman Empire after seeing what the Phantom Ruby could do for him. Oh, and he was called weak by Shadow. 😂

Eggman created the ruby on infinites chest. Infinite was actually the leader of a group of mercenaries sent to kill eggman, but infinite changed sides.

Mystery Cup of Joe unfortunately, this guy was a bit off. Infinite was the leader of a group of bounty hunters/ raiders. He raided eggmans base for his technology, but ended up switching sides. His animal is a Jackal, too

Fact 26 is actually wrong. Infinite wasn't created by Eggman, but Eggman did give him the power. Infinite was a bounty hunter with a squad of other jackals and he wanted to get to Eggman to get paid. However, Eggman was like "Hey, wanna work with me? I'll give ya a bunch of power" and Infinite said "Sure, why not?".

New fact: Patrick Borg, the French voice of Infinite has been voicing Goku in the Dragon Ball for more than 30 years!
During the 90s and 2000s, he's been voicing as an announcer in loads of SEGA Megadrive, Sega Saturns commercials in French.
He's still voicing in French Sonic commercials and he's now 60 years old. Now that's what I can an "Infinite Saiyan"! =D

Wow that #106 is so hypocritical considering how much time this game spends in the past. I think Sonic needs to stop reusing level motifs. I wouldn't mind another adventure personally and they'd probably play really well with modern technology and tweaked controls.

Well to being PERFECTLY honest, I personally like this game a lot due to the new Hedgehog Engine 2 AND it’s nice creativity with new level designers attempting on their very first try on a sonic game. Unlike those BARBARIANS that have to complain on almost everything wrong with the game when they’re just minor probs, it’s just a game grow up

I certainly enjoy it. I think it should not be seen as the next big sonic thing, but really just a small sonic project to make some fan dreams come true, and for that, the game is actually pretty good. :-)

Speed Battle is not the first time Team Choatix, Rouge, and Omega was playable in a Sonic game for a while. You have Sonic Dash they were playable, Vector playable since the first Mario and Sonic, and they were playable in Sonic Jump, Sonic Runners, and Sonic Riders. Speed Battle isn't really that official either. So in terms of them being playable in a main series game, it's been a while.

"Sonic Forces" is a game that definitely had so much potential due to all the hype it had received along with "Sonic Mania", and even I'm starting to understand why it has been given such negative reception because of the game being rather short for a Modern-era Sonic game. However, I think the one thing that makes the game playable would be the customizable character feature, especially since I find creating characters that happen to be animals to be a lot more fun and creative than human characters.

Sonic Forces is the sequel to Sonic Mania. The phantom gem mined from Angel Island in Sonic Mania is what Infinite uses in Sonic Forces.
