I’ve had long term COVID long term for over a year now. I started with problems with speech. I can’t remember words or I can’t get them out. My balance is off. I lose my balance by falling forward at least once per week. I took a header in the driveway last week. Fell, and bounced my head off my driveway and scraped my face all down to my neck. I’ve taken to using cane to keeping my balance. When I come the stairs, I can’t see the bottom of the stairs. I step off too early and fall. I have brain fog. I was an executive assistant and now I can barely remember how to use the computer, and things that I used previously can’t do anymore. I sought out a clinic. I called, left a message several times before they called me back. They don’t have a dedicated area or dedicated staff to deal with long term COVID. I went to see the physician and felt as if I was an extra Ginny pig to learn about symptoms. No organized steps to deal with the symptoms. I feel we are treated like third class citizens. We need HELP. Doctors and labs dedicated to finding an answer.
I’m sorry to hear that & I agree with you. I’ve had long term covid 3 years now. Life hadn’t been the same since. Maybe you can be treated for Pots. It could be a start? The numbers of patients have been growing since the vax & covid
add ginko, coffee cherry extract , citicoline and mostly books by Dale Bredesen....take what you can....it is soooooo expensive nd a big dose of sheer determination!.....not just a respiratory virus......it attacks everything ....weakest first!!!
Has anyone found any supplements to assist with brain function after Covid. I has Covid early June 2022 and end of July 2022. The one in July, was the one that did me in! But, I had secondary infections…sinus infection and either bronchitis or pneumonia. My brain hasn’t been the same since, I feel like my brain declined 15 years since July. Loss of focus and recalling words, as well remembering things have been a real challenge. I can force myself through tiredness, pain, etc…but, really discouraged by the brain issues.
At perifereal blood at some patients after SARS COV2 infection ,at low temperature, erytrocyte can aggregate like coin rolls. That aggregation at low blood temperature can ,theoreticaly, increase blood viscousity inducing reversible capillary subobstruction. Theoreticaly ,that can induce tissue ishemia. Theoreticaly, to decrease blood viscousity Acetylcysteine can be effective.
When coronaviruses are released from infected hyjaked cells they catch a lipidic part of hyjaked cells membrane to build virus envelope (viral membrane). Some antiSARS COV2 envelope antybody can ,, theoretically,, cross react with some cells membrane receptors. May be tendency of erytrocyte to agregate like coin rolls at low blood temperature are induced by some cross reacting antiviral antibody?
Very interesting ! I see that your data suggest that a virally-induced autoimmunity could yield a long-term loss of grey matter... but has it also been assayed to treat neuropsychiatric symptoms with IVIG administration in a late post-covid syndrome, in the hope that the symptoms observed are mostly due to short-term consequences of viral remnants in tissue ? :) Greetings
,,Low temperature agglutinine,, occur after infection with Mycoplasma pneumonia Radiologic aspect of mycoplasmatic pneumonia look like SARS COV2 pneumonia. May be oxigenotherapy in both pneumonia must use more warmed oxigen mix ?
I get back pain right before or near when I start getting those congestion flares. I can basically tell how bad it's going go be once I start feeling that back pain. Long answer short, yes.

NMN, NAC, Neem, Resorvitol, Zinc., mushrooms,Q10
These seem to help us.

Long covid is a mental illness. Take off the silly mask, throw away your TV, stop getting mRNA injections, go outside more.

We can certainly hope my friend. If not we will adapt

Any one have back pain after covid along with fatigue?

I have had back pain before Covid so don't notice much of a difference but I do have weird pains in my legs when I first wake up and lie down.
