Same. Most of the videos I watch these days are about tiny off grid homes, wooden cabins, van life, tree house builds, etc ... I think most people have had more than enough of being a 9-5 slave and riddled with debt.

@@jaredbruce5559 100 percent. Gunna read books tho on how to garden and stuff on plumbing and carpentry etc..The work outside will be easy compared to reading prob 10 20 books and learning how to live self sufficiently. In the meantime I'll save money and want not. Anything will help

I love the videos, I'm living kind of by the book. buy the house and the nice things but the minimalist living and simpler view on life truly intrigues me. maybe one day after i build equity i can sell it all move to northern mn take my carpentry skills and make a life. I think there is a High Tide pump that can pump ocean water in there to be heated or can use it to power a pump for fresh water. Just a thought to make the tub easy to use and relax more with it!

6:00 Love the property, been to Gambier myself it's a beautiful place ;but burning propane creates co2, very dangerous to cook with propane indoors!
Love all of this! I have a concern for your health with the free claw foot tub... the paint could be lead based. I’ve been looking at a couple free claw foot tubs for the same purpose and it seems like quite the process to make sure the lead doesn’t leach into the bath water and then your skin. 💓💓

If it can be deemed a camp, I think there are different rules? I've discussed doing this and my father mentioned if it's under a certain size, you can classify it as a different type of structure. Might depend where you live, though.

Wow, Cool Dome, Le Domus!) The white interior was the perfect colour choice, immediately stylish and imparting an illusion of space...However could the bedrooms not be placed adjacently? What about single/double/king size beds suspended from chrome chains, could look amazing.. offering space beneath for storage, easily fold up for travel, and allowance for a partition screen to separate the bedrooms..plus sleeping on a suspended bed on 4 chains offers a relaxing rocking and then very little movement as you drift into a slumber..just a thought,)Enjoyed your video, Innovative and adventurous off the grid venture, kudos!)

I just watched a video about 109 year old man that still has a driver's license and drives himself where he has to go. Really inspirational for me having just turned 40 and looking at a glass half empty, seems the glass can overflow.
