Thank you so much for covering the Fantom's Super Natural sounds so well. I have learned a lot from these 3 videos. Much appreciated.

Thanks for all these videos... I've been binge-watching these since I bought a new Fantom - right before Covid isolation started - so I'm picking up a lot of tips and tricks from you while we shelter-in-place. Very much appreciated! Thank you.

Just love the way that you explain the technical stuff. And bring it down to layman terms. Thanks for that... Wondering why no one seems to be talking about how this unit handles audio input from the back panel (line or mic inputs) as routing goes or use of effects and is it possible to route them out to any specific output... Would be nice to have a video on that topic... Cheers and keep up the good work...

Thanks for your tutorial. Excellent presentation and content. I’m looking forward to the next detailed ‘supernatural’ ideally about distorted electric guitar sounds. AGA

Alfred Antrobus Sadly, there are no SN guitars in the Fantom, just PCM. Hopefully that will get an update.

Great presentations! Always appreciate and watch your insights. Sometime in the future do you plan on covering how to edit effects? Still having trouble wrapping my head around the process. Good vibes!

Yep. I am trying to think of the best way to present a video or two on FX.
The FX are extremely FLEXIBLE, and with that flexibility comes COMPLEXITY. It's not rocket science, but there are a few concepts to grasp that are not immediately intuitive.

Thanks for another great video, I assure you there are many people who finds these tutorials useful, so please, keep the coming if you can.
I already wrote in a Facebook group my grant about these SN sounds and also other sounds i find in fantom.
I'm used to check the switches on the left side of the keyboard as I thought they would unleash all sort of "surprises" or at least some expressive options to the sounds, and In Fantom I didn't find that.
The sounds feel somewhat dead to me without some useful variations that you can add while playing.
A synth - at least for some of the sounds, is supposed to be played with your right hand, leaving your left hand to add character and color to your sounds while playing, which makes all the difference between a Piano and a synth.
I was even more pissed off to find that even the SN sounds don't allow me to use some real time controllers to activate the SN articulations which basically makes these SN sounds useless.
I understand that there is an option to assign the different controllers only within a scene, is that correct?
I think you mentioned that you are going to show this in another video, is this available already?

    @groki30 ปีที่แล้ว

Did you create any SuperNatural articulation (individual sounds) videos yet? Apologies if you have - just haven't located them. Coming from a Jupiter-80 to Fantom-8 I was very keen to view these videos - thanks again😀... Pete

I find the orchestral sounds on Mantage more natural sounding than the Fantom's. The Fantom's sounds muffled and artificial. Can you edit them to make them sound better? What has been your experience? I would like to recreate movie orchestral songs (e.g. Lord of the Rings ost). Thanks!

Interesting bit, where you make your electric bass model sound more like its being played with an e-bow than a pick. Makes me wonder: How "weird" can you get with the supernatural engines in the Fantom? I had an Integra-7 for a while, which - at least in my hands - couldn't get very weird at all.
I should say that my entire conception of what physical modeling is good for was shaped forever by the commercial blurb that came with the Yamaha VL-1/VL-7 back in the early 90's. Something like: "Imagine playing a 200 ft. glass pibe with a bow made out of lama's hairs - only your imagination sets the limits". Well, the VL-7, which I got years later, didn't quite do that, but it did do some really weird digital-sounding chaos, which I liked a lot.
Ever since then, I've been hoping for a next-gen version of that. Would you say that this version of Supernatural - which seems to have more control than in previous iterations - could get me there (or part of the way)?
Cheers, and thanks for focusing on an otherwise overlooked aspect of this very interesting beast.

I have question if you could answer .....in my Roland Juno D's while using ARP I can select what part to be arpegiated among the 16 tones......so can one select one part or (zone) or range of keys to be arpegiated in this keyboard......or this arpegiate the whole scene ......I use this technique for bass so only the lower part is arpegiated while playing melody....
