    I thought I had a decent grasp on my Fantom, considering I've played with most settings now for a month on it. You have just completely blew the roof right off for me! I can't express how thankful I am that you took your time out of your days to explain any of this. This is beyond helpful, Truly thank you very much!

    Nobody else on TH-cam gets their hands dirty with the Fantom the way this guy does, I would imagine many people would love to see more of this.
    The official Roland videos 'always' skim over the nitty gritty stuff. Ed Diaz does this everytime it's gets complicated, saying 'I'll do another video for this'. Roland manuals are awful and ZT is our saviour 🙏

    Your explanations are just awesome. You know your instrument and you are an excellent teacher. Great work. After I have watched all three videos about the FX on the Fantom I feel very well informed.

    Awesome - thanks for all the videos on this. I'm coming from a Korg world so this was helpful!

    Just wanted to thank you for these 3 Fantom Effects videos. I was starting to piece it all together, but then you really helped me understand it thoroughly. It was a great help, and very well done. I'll definitely be checking out your other Fantom videos. They are seriously a great supplement to all the stuff Ed and the others have out there.Much appreciated!

    Thank you, very well done. Effects routing is always a nightmare on any workstation. If I understand you correctly, there are actually four possible routing options:
    1) Tone effect
    2) Scene effect
    3) Zone effect
    4) Master global effect
    With the Scene and Zone the same save at the scene level.

    Thanks very much for these three tutorials. I was getting very frustrated trying to save effects etc, compared to my Montage. I nearly decided to sell my Fantom 6 and get a MPC 61. I'm well on the way now though to knowing how to add the effects where I want to.😊😊

    Very good 3 part series. The mixer mode also can be used to assign reverb/chorus sends. I would hope the settings would change in the effects edit too when changing from the mixer.

    So this is how I make the pianos (or any other sound) sound more "full"/"wet"...

    Hi, first of all thank you for this great how-to series. Before I finally got my Fantom-07 two days ago, I had already spent a few nights here in TH-cam's Fantom boot camp. So I'm getting along pretty well with setting up my personal configuration, scenes etc., but one thing really annoys me: After every restart, the 'Audio In' setting (I'm constantly using the Mic input for vocals) is gone and has to be set again. Unfortunately, Roland is not very helpful at that point so, do you know a way to permanently save the 'Audio In' setting?

    You should put the word Reverb in your title. Its a question many have and there are no videos on TH-cam talking about it like you do here.

    great info, noisy physical keyboard sounds.. are you hitting your keys very hard? as it sounds like your killing them?
    Ive ordered the 88 version, so hoping the noisy sent so clunky

    • @ZTAudio
      @ZTAudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would rate the Fantom7 as "medium clunky" ... worse than a DX-7, not as bad as an Ensonic SQ-80, lol.

    thank you very much for your videos. Can we save effects presets independently of sounds (zones) presets ? And thusly browse for presets of any particular effect ? Thank you.

    Great Information thanks.
    Can you assist me with one of the issues I am facing...
    When I record the scene/ song from fantom to logic, then I am able to record the song but am unable to get the effects (IFX1 , IFX2 ) in logic.

  • @karlbernd4932

    Is there a way in the Fantom to copy the effects of an scene or an tone to another scene/tone ?

    Roland has a lot of nice of zen core sound packs I’ve loaded, the only problem is that I can’t find them once they are in the board. There are so many sounds, and unless I have a list in front of me, there is no way to know what is what. Is there a way to filter sounds by sound pack, or exz expansion, etc? It’s much needed if not

    • @domingom2796
      @domingom2796 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      es muy facil de hacer ,pon la vista en una parte o tono solo,busca la expansion que quieras cierra el candado y te saldran solo los tonos de esa expansion

    Talk about custom drums

    • @ZTAudio
      @ZTAudio  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      No, lol ... at least not in the near future. Honestly, I make videos about topics that I find interesting. If I ever get to the point where I need to do custom tweaks of the drum kits, I'll probably do a video.
      I will however, be creating some Linn, DMX and SP12 , etc. kits from samples sometime in the near-ish future. Once I find time to do that, there will almost certainly be a how-to video.
