Do the throttle blade mod , the blade has a half moon restrictor , if you grind it down it will give you better throttle response and a little more acceleration
4:40 thanks Migs. I got mine installed I got one that slightly different than yours but I definitely needed a mount for it of some sort but I couldn’t figure out where it would go. Looked through my package found a mount and a spot for it.
wouldnt MAF sensor adjust according after a lil bit? more real time? If it was speed density it would use more predetermined set of values for fuel trims based on the MAP sensor? Please correct me if im not accurate? Good video :)
@@jaywilbur515 it helps the maf adjust quicker because they go based off of how you drive, disconnecting the battery allows it to adjust a little bit better. Idk the exact reasons, but it does work.
@@zragevii4705 i was presuming that but i wasnt sure. I think some vehicles are different on the amount of driving you have to do to adjust according? Unless of course its speed density. Thanks for the reply
@@jaywilbur515 not a problem... I was skeptical and the only reason I know it helps is because I had a truck that refused to adjust to a higher flowing filter... undid the battery and it ran smooth.
If you want more power, take the cups off the throttle body flap, remove the tb flap and grind off the rivets and take the cups off and plug the holes i actuallyused body panels plugs but jb weld works too, and reinstall its a air restrictor you will get all the tq chevy didn't want you to have,

I’m warning you, I put a cold air intake on my truck and it damn near destroyed my engine, it dropped my gas Mileage, by about 3 mpg. It also destroyed my knock sensors and made it run like crap. I’m warning you to take it off, it sounds cool but that’s it, TAKE IT OFF!!!!
BS lol. Did you run a scan guage and read the voltage of your knock sensors pre and post intake modification to see if the signal was changed. More air= more power. Your fuel pressure was probably janky and lean in the first place
The 4.3 does like exhaust mods and intake mods... idk about anything else, but it loves those... mine likes fuel that is 10% ethanol, not up to but for sure 10% idk why
This isnt fast by todays standards (and not yesterdays either LMAO) but its a huge improvement from a stock 2.2l th-cam.com/video/tG4EaOHgB38/w-d-xo.html Pacesetter header, 2 1/2" pipe out, cat delete, flowmaster delta 50, Efan, Screamin Demon coil packs, slightly bigger injectors (hard to find side feed for 97 and older), underdrive pullies, 91+ tune, and a custom built RAM air fed from the front bumper. Ran high 15 1/4s and about 7.5s to 60 if I gave it her all and shifted flawlessly. Suspension was pretty ok too; had Bilsteins all around, stiffer springs, bigger sway bar, rear sway bar, helper spring coilovers on the back. When it was all said and done me being a slightly better driver I could hang with my friend's RX8 on the twisty back roads. I had better low end; once he had that rotary screaming he'd pull away on a long enough straight.
Cooler air can give more power, that's why you want cooler air... the vehicle just has to have a tune to accept it. That has been proven, and that's why they're on performance vehicles.. more often than not, the stock tune will not adjust to make more power, though some will depending on conditions. Some vehicles actually benefit alot, the 4.3 does benefit from better intake and exhaust but I am unsure how much. As I said though, most vehicles don't gain, but cold air intakes can help it gain.
I run 275/"60"/17 stickies, and 315/35 proxes with zero issues. Stock BS is 6.5 ..as far as front runners, ive been on 20x6 RStars for years. But putting real meat on. But you putting up ebay filter installs for performance vids kinda opens ALL doors up, including the ones where the seasoned S10 guy tells you putting anything close to a 295 on that truck is absolutely ignorant. Half throttle cause your mom is watching?
For the back rims you could just get wheel spacers
Do the throttle blade mod , the blade has a half moon restrictor , if you grind it down it will give you better throttle response and a little more acceleration
Your the only person that it takes 3 days to install an air intake
He’s never done that to a truck like this before. It takes experience to get things done quickly.
Replace parts dumbass
It takes absolutely no expert knowledge to do a cold air intake what so ever Jesus fucking Christ

imagine thinking that a cold air intake is going to have a noticeable power increase at half throttle lol

That's 3 tenths my dude.
Swap that v6 intake and do a 5.3 intake with a bigger filter if u want to notice do underdrive pulley and double throttle spacer it kicks ass

Get wheel spacers for the rear wheels and they will fit
There should be a clip that hold the air intake thing on the front of it
I like the truck videos I’d like to see moon
Nice hot air intake
This is actually a big dilemma for me
I feel like both times are complete bs that you put on the screen. Also, why the hell are you doing half throttle pulls.
Yo do you have a video of you putting it on?
After u put the cold air in take in u should have took it to a dino so u can get all the power out of it
He should do more mods than an air intake before he gets a tune.
Half throttle because you scared ol son you got to get it
Why don’t you buy Wheel spacers
Can you do a xr70 vid pls
Do you have any exhaust in it??
