I love the fact that you move about so much when you’re not playing. . .since ya can’t do it when ya play the Theremin! Years ago, I had a Big Bear Theremin (signed by Bob Moog!), and not being able to move my body while playing drove me nuts. I sold it to a recording studio, and returned to studying the amplified harmonica(Really). The studio was happy. And, I am happy with my harps. Really.
Great tips and nice sounding Theremin. Cool effects and the sky the limit if multi effect sound processor was added. I need to get one and try it out. Thank for sharing your video. ❤
This Moog theremin looks like an ironing board. At first glance i was thinking it was a video of housekeeping tutorial or something. But i think it was made this way on purpose, considering the very old school sound... But for sure it's very interesting instrument and let's hope we'll see more. Thanks!
I was SO pleasantly surprised with the theremini... we are doing a giveaway in my video here, if you want to put your name in the hat! th-cam.com/video/9jq3CnKdGEU/w-d-xo.html
Great video! I really like the theremini, I want to buy it in the future, but most(if not all) videos I found showing its original 32 presets have max Echo FX amount and max pitch correction, which make the sound too loud and less theremin-like. So can you make a video showing them all without these effects?
How are your notes so stable? I hold my hand in place and it jumps all over between half steps. Have tried calibrating and would like to learn how to play along the glissando rather than using pitch correction. Any advice would be super appreciated--great video!
YES that one DOES need an adapter for the Theremini (however, it fits the Etherwave models). I put my theremini on this stand which is an awesome stand altogether. Hope this helps! sweetwater.sjv.io/rQM0Dd
Nice review, I’m going to get one ! - is this particular theremin good for a beginner if you don’t want to hook it up using the midi controller or anything? - I just want to use it as an instrument going through my amplifier?
The theremini is GREAT for a beginner to learn on, in my opinion! It's a budget-friendly option that's still a good quality instrument, and great all on its own... whether plugged into your amp or using its built-in speakers. I say go for it!
Thanks for doing this. Love learning more about dipping toes into this experience. You make such great content

I can't emphasize how much I love that dress....................
Are you using the jamstands mic stand that's in your storefront with the theremini? Does it need an adapter?
