I was too floja to make it in the pot, so I made it in a vitamix blender using ground cinnamon and ground cloves. After that, I put all the liquids in a pot and then I added the Toasted Maseca. Claudia, thanks for the vid. When I've made Champurrado in the past, I get gritty textures that interfere with the smooth creaminess of the liquid. Is it the chocolate? The masa? I've even poured it through a sieve to remove as much as possible. Can you help?
The masa!!!!! You secret with champurrado is to mix mix mix to make sure the masa doesn’t get clumpy and grainy you can also use the blender for this step to make sure it’s smooth, nobody like a grainy champurrado 😭

Yes, you can. It will change the taste. The evaporated milk may be harder to replace.
