I have all their Vinyls and stick 'em to the turntable at least once a month. Amazing they still have the voice power and are able to perform live with a sound on par with their recordings.
Fred still has that great high pitched gravely rock voice! Randy still sounds great. The musicianship is OUSTANDING! Randy & Fred are GREAT on Guitar & bass. BTO was the BEST thing that ever came out of Canada. Great songwriters.
Great performance, nice to see Tal Bachman playing alongside his Dad, Randy. Damn good on keyboards as well! And Fred's voice is still pure solid hard rock.

Met BTO in Binghamton NY in '86 but it was Randy's brother fronting. I was fine with that. They were great. BTO is a classic 70's rock force no matter what! Love "Let it Roll"! Look out! Here they come!
I saw Randy Bachman with The Guess Who, live, in the 70's. The best concert I have ever seen, and I have been to a LOT of concerts over the last 50 years. Bachman and McCartney are the two greatest musician/composers of all time. Period.
I love these guys to pieces, and this may be the best sounding live clip of them I've seen. Excellent! Energetic and pounding rock and roll music at it's best. And man, I would totally give my right arm to be able to sing as well as Fred, even if it meant giving up my guitar. I do wish they had been able to squeeze in Slave to the Rhythm like they did for the Grey Cup halftime show. That song should totally be one of the greatest BTO hits and always played for these hit medleys. Happy birthday to Randy today. It's hard to believe that he's rocking this hard and sounding this darned good at age 75!! I mean, try to imagine Frank or Elvis being this good at 75. You can't, can you? Great stuff.

I remember Fred from back in the 60's playing in local bands with my brother in law Ken. Fred was best man at my sister's wedding, I was one of the ushers. Great memories.
