I couldn't help but get a bit freaked out about the effect of **Clear Wall** where if you control a Level 7 or higher monster that mentions "Clear World", all effects of "Clear World" are applied to your opponent regardless of the Attributes they control. Let's do a rollcall of all the negative effects of Clear World. ● LIGHT: Play with your hand revealed at all times. ● DARK: If you control 2 or more monsters, you cannot declare an attack. ● EARTH: During your Standby Phase: Target 1 face-up Defense Position monster you control; destroy that target. ● WATER: During your End Phase: Discard 1 card. ● FIRE: During your End Phase: Take 1000 damage. ● WIND: You must pay 500 Life Points to activate a Spell Card. This means that your opponent get's ALL of these negative effects AT THE SAME TIME. Just as long as you control a Level 7 or higher **Clear** monster, **Clear wall** and **Clear world**, and your opponent has at least 1 monster on their side of the field, to trigger almost all of the negative effects of Clear World. As for Clear Vicious Knight, I just imagined how if you happened to screw up your opponent with Nibiru, and he didn't get rid of the Token, you can summon vicious knight and have him gain the ATK of the Nibiru token that is on your opponent's field. Now you have a Clear Vicious Knight with a solid high ATK, which is enough to help you negate any effect of any special summoned monsters your opponent controls.
Because Konami won’t print monsters that don’t have an Attribute. Also Clear Vice Dragon has been out for over 15 years and has the same DARK + you are unaffected by Clear World these all share.

Because KONAMI is incompetent and don't really care to make the anime-exclusives worthwhile or in this case work like the intended point. Also people can't seem to understand these monsters are DARK monsters but they don't have the effect they should all have which is "When this card is face-up on the field, do not treat its Attribute as DARK"
Clear World is and Vice Dragons are among my favorite cards ever so I’m really glad it got support… but I wasn’t expecting Vicious Knight to be so busted and it becoming a floodgate engine. Also, Clear Wall has the funniest effect ever.

If we get Fujiwara‘s Cards, that would also mean that we also might get the „Darkness“-Archetype in the near future. Darkness Destroyer and Darkness Neosphere already exist and I can see them being supported by new Cards as well as all the other Cards getting printed for this nasty Strategies. I hope this will become real someday…
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Nightshroud is the only final villain whose deck hasn't been printed yet. We have Zone's Timelords, Don Thousand's Numerons, Zarc's Supreme Kings, and Ai's @Ignisters. Hell, if you want to count the dub we also have Yubel's deck, along with the new support as well. Nightshroud is legit the only one we don't have most of his cards.
I am extremely happy to see these finally printed as I've been obsessed with them for years. Heck I'd argue that clear world is now somewhat devastating now that all the effects can be applied to your opponent regardless of what attributes they control thanks to the new support.
Waiting for clear world to get a extra deck monster that has all attributes, switches to your opponent side, unaffected by being destroyed, cannot be tributed and cannot be used for a summon of a extra deck monster! :p
I'd try to make a drinking game of taking a shot every time the word "Clear" is used in this video, but that's basically just tipping the bottle back and chugging.

The funny thing is that being under all six of Clear World's effects isn't even _that_ bad. DARK, WATER, and FIRE don't matter because if you can't pop any of the three cards needed to keep this effect up in Main Phase 1 then you were losing anyway. EARTH will almost never matter because hardly any decks leave Defense Position monsters lying around, and outside of making Runick mildly uncomfortable for about ten seconds WIND doesn't matter either. LIGHT is unironically the best effect because hand knowledge is almost always strong. The main thing all this has going for it is having to pop one of the relevant cards under Vicious Knight's Skill Drain effect - _that's_ the kicker.
Since not having an Attribute doesn't work with Yu-Gi-Oh they could've given us a new one, let's call it Null, that *could* have support for Attribute shuffling shenanigans to enable the play style.
Not at all familiar with the anime aspect of things but I feel (considering Clear World seems more tailored to floodgate/slow control) they should have had a card that prohibits your opponent from summoning ATK position monsters at all. Probably would have made it somewhat more viable and (debatably?) Still not even like, broken.

Anime Clear World would've easily seen competitive play. All Konami needed to do was change the negative effects from most potent to least potent depending on the OPness of the Attribute to be more balanced. For example, light and dark get the most setbacks (You can't play spell cards if you control a Dark Monster for instance) whole Fire and Wind get the least fatal ones...

You're totally right about how Konami horribly translates anime cards into the TCG most of the time by simply nerfing them ridiculously hard and they barely resemble the bonkers card they were in the anime especially when their iconic effect is gone. I always hated that about this game. The biggest egregious offenders being the Egyptian Gods (especially if you read up how busted they were in the Yugioh R Manga. Manga Egyptian Gods possibly wouldn't even be legal in today's Yugioh. They're practically a win condition on their own as they should be, and they're pretty much impossible to out the millisecond they hit the board unless you have a Divine Beast Monster yourself. They don't even give you the option to destroy them by battle, unlike the anime, unless it's by battle of another Divine Beast monster. The only way to practically beat the Egyptian Gods in the manga if you don't have one yourself is by using _very unconventional_ strategies to win ) Nordic Gods, the Wicked Gods, the Sacred Beasts, Number XYZ Monsters especially their Chaos Forms, Supreme King Dragon ZARC (Dude would not be legal had he came out with his anime effects).

Clear World was such a crazy good Field Spell in the anime that would've totally seen competitive use in whatever era of Yugioh had it kept its anime effect. Its anime effect isn't even broken, it's just really good.
I heard the archetype has a lot of potential. Your opponent would have to run s/t backrow removal since Vicious knight would stop monsters from activating their effects. So its easier to run things like Field barrier and s/t negates to protect clear world and wall.

I don't think they are bad. The monsters make it so you are unaffected by Clear World so you can run other monsters. Vicious knight bottlenecks your opponent into running backrow removal. If you know what your doing you can counter a lot of decks.

Consider in the anime, Yusuke/Darkness dislike individuality, a Skill Drain effect is quite fitting for a Clear monster.
