    Good Morning Sister Wilson ☺️❤️
    These are sad in the Chapters and I really understand why these questions were asked,I use to Ask What happened to the Wonderful lowly Shepards that told everyone, Where are they now and their families?
    Would not They have told these lawyers and High Priest?
    Then, I get this feeling like they were not believed and could have been killed, or threatened?
    I am Soo amazed for the amount of Love he and our Heavenly Parents have for everyone, me ❤️📖🙏
    So,Greatful for everyone who continues to help me on the other side, all my life ❤️
    I love your voice,wish you could have helped with the Scripture, All of them
    Beautiful voice because of the love and your passion you continue to put in any scripture and explain extra information.
    I really appreciate your love and support in each video ❤📖🙏
    If I could send you a bouquet of your favorite flowers or the favorite flowers to plant in your garden 💐🌹🌹🌹

    My studies of ancient writers has led me to believe that Mary's sister in law was also named Mary, the mother of James and Joses, the wife of Cliaphus aka Clopus. He was the brother of Joseph the carpenter. They were the couple who were on the road to Emmaus. They rushed back to tell their sons that they had seen the risen Lord. Salome was Mary's blood sister, wife of Zebadee and mother of James and John.

    How is it that Jesus Christ paid the price for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. I understand that Jesus yielded to His Father's will and thus prepared for what was to come but it was on the cross that His Father withdrew from Him and it was on the cross that He was nailed to the cross and He said (it is finished and gave up His spirit.) To me it was not finished until Jesus Christ died on the cross.
    I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 53 years. I am 85 years of age.

      It's wonderful that you have been a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for such a long time! Your question is an important one, and we'll do my best to provide a helpful perspective.
      In Latter-day Saint understanding, the Atonement of Jesus Christ encompasses both the suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and the events on the cross. While it is true that Jesus' suffering on the cross was a crucial part of the Atonement, Latter-day Saints believe that the Garden of Gethsemane was where Jesus began to take upon Himself the weight of our sins, pains, and infirmities.
      Elder James E. Talmage, in his book "Jesus the Christ," explains that in Gethsemane, Jesus "bore the crushing burden of the accumulated sins of mankind." Through this suffering, Jesus was able to understand and empathize with our individual struggles and provide us with succor and forgiveness when we turn to Him in repentance.
      When Jesus Christ suffered on the cross, it was a fulfillment of His Atonement, and His cry, "It is finished," can be seen as indicating that He had fulfilled His mission to atone for our sins. However, this should not diminish the importance of the events in the Garden of Gethsemane, as both experiences were integral to the Atonement process.
      As Latter-day Saints, we acknowledge and appreciate the Savior's immense sacrifice during his entire Atonement process, including both the Garden of Gethsemane and the Crucifixion. We are taught to rely on our faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement to find forgiveness, strength, and hope. We hope this helps address your concern. 😊

    29:13 Could The Saviour's outer garment have been felted. A felted garment would not have had any seems at all and would have been molded through the felting process (I felt and embroider) ..... hmmmmm? Sheep wool is perfect for felting.

    • @scripturecentralofficial
      @scripturecentralofficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      That's an interesting idea! The Bible doesn't give detailed information about the material or construction of Jesus' garments, so it's hard to say for sure. However, it's possible that His outer garment could have been felted. We know that wool was a common material used for clothing during that time, and felting was one of the techniques used for making textiles. It's fascinating to think about the various possibilities and how clothing was created in ancient times! 😊

    As you were making comparisons to Christ's birth, I noticed that Herod was part of killing both John the Baptist and Jesus. These two men were saved by divine intervention from his father's edict to kill the babies 2 and under. But now both will die for too the action or inaction of his son.

    • @scripturecentralofficial
      @scripturecentralofficial  ปีที่แล้ว

      I see what you're pointing out about the connection between King Herod and his son, Herod Antipas, who both played a role in the suffering of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ. King Herod, also known as Herod the Great, was the one who ordered the massacre of the infants in an attempt to kill Jesus when He was born. In contrast, Herod Antipas is the one who ordered the execution of John the Baptist and later played a part in Jesus' trial. It is indeed interesting to see how events unfolded around these influential figures.
