You are so welcome!
Thank You Sister Wilson. You are m favorite teacher. Love you.
Thanks! That means a lot!
So grateful to be a "Woman" follower of our Savior.
Absolutely. You are needed! 😊
Thank you for this beautiful lesson. One of the things I especially appreciated was you highlighting how the Lord showed his regard for and trust in His female disciples/friends, against the prevailing culture that existed at that time.

Your beautiful voice is lovely and you use your arms, hands, stories about family and personal stories, words to keep and learn.

You are so welcome!
It’s 5AM and you have just given me a “Road to Emmaus” experience! You have opened these scriptures to my understanding. How can I ever thank you? Heaven’s Blessings
Thanks!
That was amazing Sis Wilson. I loved every word. I loved what you said about how history has painted Mary Magdalene. It never ceases to amaze me how one part of a person's character is exaggerated and presented as the total sum of an individual.
I loved the discussion on the women who were part of the entourage and the possible family relations to the Saviour. Very interesting and very highly likely as you mentioned.
Yout classes are always amazing. My week is not complete without an insightful lesson from the lovely Sis Wilson ♥️
Great thoughts!

@@scripturecentralofficialGood morning
Praise the Lord 👍
Remembering the Lord's Prayer, let's be a day when the children of God preach the gospel without forgetting that the world where God reigns will come.
I give thanks to God the Father, Creator of heaven and earth, who is the true life. Thank you for opening today and letting us live and breathe. The hope of physical Israel was to enter the land of Canaan, Egypt. The hope of spiritual Israel is to leave the kingdom of the world and enter the kingdom of heaven. This is God's promise. There are two heavens, one is the heaven of the spirit world. And it is heaven in the physical world. According to Revelation 19, when Jesus and Heaven come to the physical world and become one, it is spiritual and physical marriage. Previously, it was a world where demons lived together with people. The world of the devil is judged and ends in Revelation 18. In Revelation 19, it is said that there will be a spiritual and physical marriage in which believers in the Lord and the spirits of heaven become one, and the world will be ruled by the Creator. This is God's victory. God, who left because of Adam's sin, made known this fact to people through the 66 books of the Bible. In the Lord's Prayer in Matthew 6, there will be a work to be done on earth just as it was done in heaven. May all of you earnestly pray for the Lord's Prayer to be fulfilled today, I pray in the name of Jesus Hallelujah Amen 🙏🙏🙏
Greatful for great technology
It's a great blessing to share the Gospel!
This was such a beautiful lesson! I learned so much from you today. Thank you for taking the time to put so much information together and sharing your beautiful testimony and love of the gospel. I love the visual photos and information. The photos by Shari Griffith and James Tissot are incredible. I have never seen them before and would love to know where to get a copy of them.
Many of those images are not publicly available, but you can pause the video to see those images.
I have been thinking about when the Lord asks Peter 'lovest thou me more then these?' He was first talking about the other apostle (his sheep). The second time the Lord asks the question he is referring to the disciples that were following them (His current lambs). The third time, the Lord is talking about the rest of the people throughout the world (His future lambs). I may be totally wrong, but it does give you food for thought, I hope.
That is definitely an interesting thought!
I just started listening to you. WOW! You touch my heart. I listen to at least 7 gospel instructors each week. You are now my new favorite!!! I don't want to sound ignorant, but . . . what does BSB and ABPE stand for. You've mentioned hand-outs, where can I find them. I'm a note taker because . . . I don't know why, but I've never have had a good memory. Thank you so much for all the time and energy that you put into teaching us about the scriptures. I enjoy your insights and have re-watched them.
Thanks! That means a lot. The handouts are int he video description when they are ready. Enjoy!
🙏😇
Could the angel who came to Jesus in Gethsemane be Michael (Adam) because it was he that was in the Garden of Eden that the promise of the seed of the woman was given.
Some General Authorities have said yes to that idea.
You refer to handouts all the time, Where do I find these handouts/ Thx
When they are available, they are in the video description.
Where can I find your handouts?
It should be in the description, however Lynne's video editor has been out of town, so it might not have been put in yet.
I really enjoy studying with your handout, but I can't find access to it anymore. The link isn't listed above and I haven't been able to find it on the website. Can you please help. Thank you so much.
We are working on optimizing the process of creating and distributing the handouts. Please forgive us be patient as we work thought this process. Thanks!

I have enjoyed all your lessons. How can I access the handout on Mary M.? I could not find a link?
We’re working on making those more accessible.
Sister Wilson, what a wonderful lesson. I have leaned so much. I need some help, I can't seem to locate your handout. They are the icing on the cake. Thanks.

@@scripturecentralofficial Thanks for answering my question.
So is the rolled stone the veil of the temple moved aside to allow us in God’s presence because of Christ?
The idea of the stone being rolled away from the tomb of Jesus as a symbolic parallel to the veil of the temple being moved aside to allow us into God's presence is an interesting and thought-provoking interpretation!
The veil of the temple separated the Holy of Holies (the place representing God's presence) from the rest of the temple. In the New Testament, the veil is torn at the moment of Jesus' death (Matthew 27:51), signifying the end of the old order and the beginning of a new covenant made possible by Jesus' sacrifice.
The stone being rolled away from Jesus' tomb signifies His triumph over death through His Resurrection. Jesus overcame death and sin, opening the way for everyone to receive eternal life and return to God's presence through His grace.
While the scriptures do not directly equate the rolled stone with the temple veil, the parallel you mentioned is a unique perspective in understanding the connection between Jesus' Resurrection and the opening of access to God's presence. Thank you for sharing that insight! 😊
We read in these Gospels that “they” went back to the temple to worship.
What exactly would that worship look like? 0:02 Christ told them He had fulfilled the law of Moses so they wouldn’t be participating in sacrifice would they?
Also, they had been “hiding” from the scribes and Pharisees yet wouldn’t they also be in the temple? (Scribes)
Peter had been singled out as a disciple probably by his Galilean accent. The others were from Galilee???
I’m not questioning the records, more curious.
Just trying to answer husband’s questions.
It's great that you're seeking to better understand the context and practices of that time! When the Gospels mention temple worship, it is usually referring to the rituals, prayers, and teachings that took place at the temple in Jerusalem under the Law of Moses.
Following Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, the apostles and early Christians continued to go to the temple. While Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses, the transition to the teachings of Jesus (what we now call Christianity) took time, and many early believers still participated in temple worship even as they followed Christ. Sacrifices continued to be performed at the temple until its destruction in 70 AD. It's important to keep in mind that the early Christians, being largely Jewish converts, still considered themselves to be part of the larger Jewish community.
As for the scribes and Pharisees, they would have been in the temple at various times. After Jesus' resurrection, it is likely that the apostles and disciples would still have to be cautious, but they also felt compelled to share their testimony and teach about Jesus.
Regarding accents and origins, some of the apostles, including Peter, were indeed from Galilee and could be identified by their accents. While this might have attracted attention, it is also worth noting that the temple was a gathering place for Jews from many regions, so a Galilean accent wouldn't necessarily stand out among other visitors. Hope this helps!
Hi, one thing, please tell me if I´m wrong, Jesus was not in the tomb on Thursday but Friday, am I right? Why did you tell He was there since Thursday evening?
This specification of the third day must not be understood as meaning after three full days. The Jews began their counting of the daily hours with sunset; therefore the hour before sunset and the hour following belonged to different days. Jesus died and was interred during Friday afternoon. His body lay in the tomb, dead, during part of Friday (first day), throughout Saturday, or as we divide the days, from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday, (second day), and part of Sunday (third day). We know not at what hour between Saturday sunset and Sunday dawn he rose. Jesus the Christ p. 732 James E. Talmage
Apologies for any confusion caused from the video, and thank you for pointing that out. You're correct: Jesus died and was buried on Friday (not Thursday), which corresponds with the first day in the count of the three days. As you note, Jesus The Christ by James E. Talmage provides a great explanation of the timeline:
Part of Friday (day 1)
Throughout Saturday (day 2)
Part of Sunday (day 3)
The counting of the days follows the Jewish custom of starting the new day at sunset.
Mary of Magdalena is Jesus wife
There is no scriptural evidence in the Bible or the Book of Mormon, and no official teachings from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that support the idea that Mary Magdalene was Jesus' wife. This idea is more speculative and originates from sources outside the standard scriptural canon.
What is known and taught within the Church is that Mary Magdalene was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ. She was present at the time of His crucifixion (John 19:25), and she was the first to witness His resurrection (John 20:11-18).
@scripturecentralofficial there is scripture evidence and if you know Jesus had to be baptized than you know other things that are not so evident to the public, but take it as you will, to each their own revelation. It is not for all to know. We are brothers and sisters with one father with Jesus.
