Semi Truck Lost It's Thirst In The Fuel Filter

The truck wouldn't start due to the fuel drained down back in the tank. I went and bought a yellow diesel fuel container. I put two gallons of diesel in it so it wouldn't be too heavy. The nozzle on the container has safety built-in precautions for use. I had a plastic water bottle I cut to use to pour fuel in the fuel filter. After two bottle half full and fuel barely in the bottom visible I primed and cranked. You don't have to put much fuel in the fuel filter to prime it. When priming you will see bubbles of air pockets appear. When the bubbles stop then go try to start the engine up. You should be ready to roll.
The problem with the fuel was underneath the filter is rubber seals. These seals allowed the fuel to leak down. The International Dealer replaced them. This fixed the problem.
