    Great Video!👍. I just managed to purchase the last remaining model on the minichamps website 😅. My first model purchase and not a bad one, it just had to be done😂.

    Hey man, love your reviews! I have the same quirk regarding Minichamps' helmet dull helmet visors and was wondering if you have a video or instructions on how you insert the film over the original helmet visor to make it closer to life like in this vid. Thanks a bunch mate!

    • @GreatChampionsTinyCars
      @GreatChampionsTinyCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello there, thanks a lot for watching the video!
      The film I used on the visor is an adhesive vinyl, so I just needed to cut it and simply place it on the helmet.
      It takes a bit of trial and error to get the correct shape to cover the existing visor...

    I ordered two W11 from Minichamps, one is the same edition as yours and the other one is the Eifel GP 91 wins. The Eifel GP one arrived today, got the same typo on the helmet as well 😂😂😂

    Next time would you show the model before your modification along with after please😬! Sometimes your improvements are too good comparing to the stock ones, but I watch your videos as purchasing advice. And if you can, could you by any chance make a video on how you make improvement to the model? Thank you! I really love collecting racing cars and really love your channel!

      Thanks for the feedback! I initially wanted to include the unboxing footage in this review video, so that you can indeed also see the model in ''stock'' condition.
      I can try adding the detailing process. The problem with that is that it's difficult to actually film it. It's precision work and i'm pretty much with my face against the model, so there not much room for a camera there. I'll think about how to make it work and try to include it in the next videos. Another factor is that I keep modifying models over and over. Some modelcars I've reviewed already look a lot different now to how they looked like when the video was made...
      It's nice to hear your feedback though, and I'll give your ideas a try! Thanks for watching my videos!

    Hi, are the dust "molded" together with the black paint, or can be easily wiped/blown away?

    • @GreatChampionsTinyCars
      @GreatChampionsTinyCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The greyish dirt that is standard on the model is fixed. You can rub it off though I noticed, but it's a tedious job and it could potentially scratch the paint layer underneath.
      The extra dirt effects I added myself (on the sidepods for instance) can be simply wiped off...

  • @scottwhibley8392
    @scottwhibley8392 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Is there any chance you could tell me how you added those effects On the tires they look really good and the helmet?

    • @GreatChampionsTinyCars
      @GreatChampionsTinyCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used black and greyish brown chalk crayons shavings, mixed with a bit of water, for the added race dirt on the car and tyres.

    Good morning,
    My name is Bruno and I'm Brazilian, I'm looking to buy the Turkish W11 but I'm in doubt between Minichamps with the race details or Spark without the details, could you help me?

    • @GreatChampionsTinyCars
      @GreatChampionsTinyCars  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Bruno
      The fact that I bought the Minichamps version kinda gives it away I prefer the Minichamps. I mainly wanted to see with my own eyes what they had done to the tyres and racedirt. It's not perfect, but I like they went somewhere different.
      I honestly think the Spark model is maybe slightly better detailed, but for me, the Minichamps version tells the story of that race, whereas the Spark model, is just another (good) modelcar.

    Hey mate, how did you tint the helmet visor?

    • @GreatChampionsTinyCars
      @GreatChampionsTinyCars  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used a adhesive tinting film and cut it out to shape. The visor has now been swapped to a more realistic red iridium color.

      For me, I prefer the Minichamps model. The Spark has better small details, but I do like how the Minichamps is something different with the worn tyres.

      The standard version is readily available at several diecast shops.
      This version I have with the different box art comes from CK-Modelcars, but they have all been sold I think.

      You can't really compare paint as the Spark model is a 'clean' one and the Minichamps is supposed to look dirty.

    • @GreatChampionsTinyCars
      @GreatChampionsTinyCars  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah. It almost makes you wonder if Minichamps did it on purpose, to not have to pay royalties for using the logo? Or maybe they want to secretly say they don't support the BLM movement?
      Or they just weren't paying attention when making the decal. Anything is possible with Minichamps...
