Minichamps has been known to make some of the most detailed scale model cars around....and this Mercedes W10 Formula 1 model is certainly amazing! This Mercedes W10 driven by Lewis Hamilton in 2019 (new Grand Prix record holder today in 2020!) has amazing detail, from the paint, to the decals, to the intricate parts, and I am happy to share this with you all.

@@andrew3746 anytime! And there are a few diecast wholesale/retailers out there. When I'm looking for a specific one, I sometimes just type it into Google and check which sites offer it. Hope that helps!
The wheels are fixed or functional ?
The wheels spin/roll, but they do not turn (fixed steering wheel)
A downside of these F1 models is the front suspension sagging, and causing the frong wing to touch the surface. Sacrificing the front wheel steering (minimal on an F1 car anyway) to fix the front suspension is deemed acceptable. Another downside is the lack of actual slot gap on the wings, and lack of functional detail on the DRS portion of the rear wing. But overall, excellent model of one of F1's greatest ever cars.

The suspension on mine seems to be holding up just fine though and the front wing stays off the surface
@@MHMotors1 Some of the older, heavier diecast F1 car models I have required placing the foam inserts under the front wing to keep the ride height accurate. Do you follow F1's technical aspects? The aero parts @06:15 are the "bargeboards" and "sidepod inlets"; the amount of development this section of the car gets is insane. Numerous rule changes from '18 to '19 restricted front wing development, and resulted in extremely complex mid sections which saw no restrictions except for the height. I applaud the high end F1 model makers for featuring the amazing details of the bargeboard aero parts.
@@dasgtr oh wow that's great to know! It seems like as the years go on, model manufacturers find the better solutions to make the diecasts better and way more detailed. I do follow F1, just haven't been too familiar with certain specific part names....it's a learning process. These past few years F1 teams have been challenged with that exact as you mention technical regulations associated with some downforce aspects....but it's been great to see teams find the solutions. And then for these models, you definitely get what you pay for, way more detail!
Hi, just stumbled upon your channel. Your reviews are good. Minor improvements to your videos would be removing the atrocious music in the middle portion. It takes up alot of the video. I personally prefer just a really good description of the model and the real car it self. In conclusion keep up the good work, your channel will do well.

I finally made it to my local Costco's again and there was basically no supply left. Just a couple cars left over placed on top of other products.
