Sweet video Josh! The Massey's are true beauties. Seems as though you had the entire documentary pro camera crew with you for a while. Great images. Love to see the buckraking. Family farms are something special. Best wishes to all the family farms, and especially to Abi and her family. Appreciate their willingness to share their efforts on camera. Happy to see it was a good crop going in the pit. Lovely place. Enjoyed the video!
Enjoyable vid as always Josh, must say that maize is looking a lot better than most I've seen on other channels, and farmer Phil has all Masseys apart from a small JCB telehandler and a Venieri loading shovel, and CowfarmerDan in Wiltshire has all Masseys but he does have a Kubuta with a front loader on it, as for the 10k race it's not over yet mate you never know you may get a big influx of new subs so don't count yourself out just yet.
I like Farmer Phil's littler handler. Looks like a very handy little machine! Cow farmer dan is another good channel i like to watch. There is always hope I suppose! As for the maize, the land here is on the heavier side, so in a year like this it has been beneficial for the maize!
@@JMFarming Very true those little telehandlers certainly are useful especially on these older farm buildings, I use to work on a dairy farm that was originally a 14th century castle so you can imagine how small some of the buildings were, and you can certainly see how the heavier soil has helped that maize grow really well, and still rooting for you to win mate.
Great video Josh mate, that new tractor and trailer looks ace mate good that you can do all the main work from that simple and easy joystick. Drone footage was very impressive too 👌🏻🚜👍🏻
As ever Josh great filming, they have started cutting the maze round us I bet they will be going like hell before the rain comes on Friday. Love Massey Ferguson tractors. Where was your mate Gus. Take care.
Best crop of maize I’ve seen not under plastic this year. There has been some very average crops here this yea that were under plastic. The drought badly affected a lot of maize crops. You need to band the drum to get that 155R upgraded to a 155R or a new 185R with CommandPro. A league of its own. Don’t know why Massey can’t ergonomically have all controls, spools, radio, HVAC controls etc on the armrest like John Deere. You shouldn’t have to move your arm at all.
Heavier ground here which has been great for the maize. Can be a nightmare in a wet year to get the maize off! Yes I agree, the command arm is something I wouldnt want to go away from for everyday use now, so handy having everything on your finger tips.
Good video Josh, also good to see you and Crawford both getting nearer to the 10k mark, keep it going, found you after he mentioned your challenge on his videos.
That’s an aMAIZing video, well done Josh
Ohhh very good!

Great vid how many acres of maize did you do?
Thanks Pete! Think we put 35 acres in that pit. They have some more to do yet.

Thanks Philip! Thanks for coming on over!
The S stands for sport, Josh. That's why it's got a handbrake. 😉😏
