Interesting to see what you do, quite abit different from what we do, we have 45 acres of wheat left to do out of 1100, but we can't get it all in, luckily we have 14 artics loads going tomorrow and Tuesday so should finish Wednesday, all came in under 16% so happy days, average yield 5.5 ton/acre
I was told of your Channel by Crawford Niven of Crawfordfarms Josh. So I have now watched a couple of your videos good stuff. Your presenting style reminds me of Merret Contracting in Victoria Australia on TH-cam. Love all these farming channels from all over the world. Ps love the spaniel dog.
Amazing video Josh! Very happy to see you bringing in a best crop yield. Great team work. Sweet images. Still makes me smile the way you call all your crops 'corn'. Glad to see the farm blessed with a great yield for your collective great work. Well done!
The drill man from last year ain’t to shabby either when the yield came out at over 3t p/a 😎. The field map will be very useful data to work on the areas that need more nutrients. The new fert spreader can spread variable rate? Be perfect for that. Excellent video as always 👍
Great harvest video Josh the oats yielded well JD combine leaves a clean sample bit disappointed that you didn't have the MF 250 on header moving duties 👍
That’s great mate getting 3.13 as an average with oats mate, great video of the tractor and combine 🚜🌾👍🏻really do enjoy all your videos mate keep at it fella 👍🏻🍻
13:57 I think the GPS on the plot combine needs looking at... 🤔😏
😂😂 it has 10 points to take samples from, it just combines from one to the next ! 👍🏼
@@JMFarming Ahhhh, so it is a planned squiggly line.. 😏
@@PK_Blinder as much as you can plan one 😂
Do you call it harvest 2022 or 2023...?
@@PK_Blinder whatever year it is at the time of cutting

Haha that must have been it! Hopefully get to drill it again this year! Yes we can put the maps onto the fert spreader to make it variable rate!

Thanks Paul! Left a lovely sample! Cooor that would have been murder in the heat! 😂
@@JMFarming sure you could take the doors off or better still get Phil to drive her😂
Go Crawford farm 🤣. Another good video 👍

@@JMFarming good lad and yeah great content 👍🏻🌾🚜
Cracking video as always. Did you hear the challenge Crawford farm has set
Thanks Paddy! Yep! I’m in the 10k race!
Summer really is starting to disappear when harvest is done!😩🤦♂. I see you’ve some crop circles in the field… dam aliens 👽 🙄🤦♂
Haha yeah! Craigs been out drawing pictures with the plot combine!
Do you feed the oats to the livestock on farm or sell on?
They will hopefully be sold for porridge!
Ask Crawford about a grain pusher
His is a monster!
@@JMFarming how do you like it in Scotland, the highland show? I'm on the west coast and to afraid to go out on my own.
Maybe get an auger for next season to make it a bit easyer for u
That’s a good idea! 🙌🏼
I saw u earlier at the Maccies drive thru in wellington truck looks the part
Haha yeah! Getting ourselves some lunch!
@@JMFarming same 😂😂😂
Are you somewhere in the United Kingdom?
South west. Devon
why can't you build a large container to hold all of your products how many hectors or acres do you farm
Only have about 65 acres of arable so not really worth it.
Well you can only do the best that you can, we had around the same and only one shed, great video anyway
@@johnperry5102 very true! Thanks John! 👍🏼
is your Ton 2,000 pounds ?? I am trying to find the yield in bushels per acre ,. thanks
Oh I’m not sure! I’ll have to do some googling! 👀
64.8 bushels of oats to a uk ton!
2240lb in a ton. Weirdly 112lb in a cwt (hundred weight) 110lbs is 50kg.
