1960s Nylint Econoline Farm Stake Truck Restoration

- I purchased this 1960s Nylint Econoline Farm Stake Truck on the Facebook marketplace November of 2020. This poor little truck was in rough shape, missing the stake tailgate, had a cracked windshield and was very rusty! I was disappointed to find out that the chassis did not separate from the rest of the body due to several spot welds. However I love how this restoration came out anyway. I purchased the cows that go with this little truck and will restore those at a later date.

I am a child of the 60's and these were the toys of my time. Thank you for restoring a cherished part of my childhood.
I don't remember them resembling that, there's a personality he takes out of it, forms it into an emotionless coat of a painted over truck's frame, there isn't a sense of authentic joy when you stare at it.

My father would:ve been so happy to see this videos if he were here 😢. Unfortunately he passed away 20 years ago, but when I was a child he used to buy little cars to collect (he always brought them to my older brother, but at the end he enjoyed them more 😅. My granddad had a 61 ford econoline that belonged to my great hradfather before he passed. His was that seafoam green color. Id love to have one of these

I kind of liked the patina on this one. But the finished product looking better than new is beautiful also! I would have had a hard time deciding if I wanted to restore this one. In the end Im glad that you chose to do it! Keep up the great work!
