This is the only man in the current ZIMBABWE political landscape who can set the country on a prosperous trajectory. 2018 was a missed opportunity for this generation, a leader like him wont appear again in the foreseeable future. It's continued suffering for Zimbabweans. We get the leaders we deserve.

This was really a good one mukoma Trevor. This is undeniably the best show in Southern Africa. I watched each and every one of the uploaded episodes. Can we please have Dr. Mike Manga?
One of the best Thought leaders to come from Zimbabwe. I am humbled by the wisdom that realizes that, "Instituitionalization, Political foundation and Leadership at whole..." He has great selfless traits, one that defines true leadership. He appreciates the "small gains...in 2018". The role played by the electorate in selecting or electing a leader is a great responsibility not to taken lightly.
Thank you Trevor for bringing Dr. Nkosana Moyo. This is an intelligent man. I like it when he questions the intelligence of the society and that even if the society are able to learns from their mistakes, are there credible institutions who are able to defend what people are trying to correct??? This is the basis of conflicts as people eventually lose faith that there is credible voice capable of fighting for their wishes. Its amazing!
I am watching part 2 of an interview of the man I have adored for as long as I remember. He has remained with a straight jacket honest opinion and is not bankrupt of ideas. He always says something that moves you. What I took out of this interview is that while collective action is important; everyone who joins the cooperative or group must be individually driven to want success of the task or to achieve the objective. He did it singularly and I am proud of his achievements; I just wonder where we would have been if we had all joined hands with our individual desires to make Zimbabwe a great country. Nkosana Moyo is a truly inspirational, humble and focused sensible leader.
"i do things that are within my control" i totally agree with you Dr. Nkosana, whilst you have acknowledged that you may be in your mid day or sunset, i think it will be good if the today's leaders could tap in your wisdom before the sun sets
You are doing God's work Trevor. Your book club is working wonders in my life. The Richest Man in Babylon recommended by bishop Tudor Bismarck is giving me financial growth. Team of Rivals book recommended by Gideon Gono has become my best friend. Thanks Trevor.
1:02:52 what an amazing leader. Zim truly has produced one of the greatest African brains… yet they are scattered in all over world contributing to other countries growth.
So great that you have re-interviewed Dr Nkosana and Hopewell. One conversation with these brilliant men is just not enough. Keep up the great work Trevor. From NZ
Enjoying this conversation. Dr. Nkosana Moyo is stubbornly blunt. Lol Hanzi.. there’s no streamlining of transferable skills at RG international Airport lol
Trevor I am not famous and I am not a guru of anything but. I wish to be on your couch one day I believe your platform is a mind opener. You drive very critical issues that we can learn from and institute real change in Zimbabwe. I believe you're a patriot and maybe this is wishful but, I would like to add my voice to the gallant son's and daughter's voices of Africa.
He is by all means the leader Zimbabwe needs to move forward, full of wisdom and intelligence. We love Zimbabwe and will have such a mindset at the helm someday. We will have a united nation with no need for the opposition because we will all be busy doing the right things, pulling in one direction and accepting and respecting our different views and opinions towards a prosperous nation.
Trevor's Conversation with Dr Nkosana Moyo was a critically illuminating and insightful discourse which drills onto the core of leadership imperatives.
Firstly I thank you Trevor and team for enlightening us that we have possible leaders out there , because I always asked myself as a zimbabwean what happened to all our intellectuals and great minds , tru Doc it's not rocket 🚀 science honestly I really wish some people in or in prospect of governance can listen to this conversation. It's not about you but society 😢
This man is very intelligent, imagine building a continent that has unique infrastructure rather than copying what other people are doing, Our continent is rich but we lack selfless and visionary leaders
Thank you Dr Nkosana Moyo and Trevor for this fascinating conversation with a lot of to learn from i.e. Have I done what I did at the best of my ability NOT have I done enough? However, Nkosana is a good, wise and honest person to have in a society but lacked the Charisma and energy that it needed for him to run successfully in the Presidential race in last general plebiscite. My observation during APA campaign was that the group miscalculated the dynamics of power and control in this country. For the mean time I don't think our country is due for a leader or needs one. If we continue on this trajectory, we will surely need a stern ruler with a good heart to put things in the right direction after doing away with the current regime and the mess we accommodated for such long at the hands of ZANUPF, to then instil in the nation the understanding of our politico-socio-economic governance and moral (UBUNTU) obligation. Our nation is not yet there in terms of articulation of complex issues that affect them hence the need by the predatory zanu pf to dangle carrots to the electorate every election time ending up with it having enough prey to take it through the hibernation phase till its hunting season for the votes again- going in circles. Nkosana and APA way of thinking is for mature democracies not ours, which is in its infancy wrecked by poverty, hunger and an emotionally violent past still haunting us- My humble opinion.
He is a great leader for his party APA and in boardrooms, conferences and corporates. Public office is something else and he is still yet to show his mettle.
was mesmerised by the DR, still heart broken that he still burns with a passion for a better Zim yet he left APA. Maybe he has a vision to do it in another better way. Thanks for the insightful convo, because of this convo you have gained a subscriber
Are you not so much interested in interviewing Nelson Chamisa so we can have a glimpse of his understanding and his thinking on Zimbabwean societal, social and political issues, everyone willing to take public office is subject to public scrutiny
😂😂😂 Chamisa is not interested in sitting down in an interview after the roasting at the hands of the BBC Hardtalk. You can only have a glimpse of his thinking from the political rally where he dishes our political rhetoric. Trevor would have to pull him by his throat to come to this space🤣🤣🤣
interesting thought! In a 'normal' country should have been able to get the sitting President to come through as well. This is a great platform, siyabonga mdala Ncube
Makes sense to me, programs like command agriculture, pfumbudza etc. are not sustainable. Why not create an environment were people are able to finance there agricultural activities not waiting for government handouts year in year out.
Thank you Mr. Ncube for this particular interview with Dr. Nkosana Moyo. I enjoyed every minute of it because Dr. Moyo as you put it at the end, is the type of leader that Zimbabwe needs. He would help resuscitate Zimbabwe. When the two of you speak, you use ZANU PF and Dr. Nkomo speaks of ZANU. May I just point out that what is called ZANU PF as a party does not in actual fact have a name. The ZANU part of it belongs to ZANU that was formed in 1963 and Ndabaningi Sithole became its first president. In 1983 Sithole sued Mugabe for using ZANU when he shouldn't have been doing so. The High Court of Zimbabwe ruled in Sithole's favour. But because Mugabe could not care about the ruling he continued to use it to this day. The PF aspect is more associated with Dr. Joshua Nkomo's ZAPU. Therefore interchanging the names ZANU and ZANU PF causes a lot of confusion. Otherwise I also agree that there will come a time when the people of Zimbabwe will say enough is enough. It's coming for sure because power rightfully belongs to the people and not leaders or anyone else. Thank you 🙏🙏.
History will judge us Zimbabweans for failing to vote for Dr. Nkosana Moyo for the presidency. Imagine him being president for just one term, Zimbabwe would have changed tremendously
Our government and political circles needs this guy. Unfortunately it seems as if Moyo wasn't given the opportunity to make the country move forward. Maybe its because of the time.... But this mess we are in today could have been minimal

Zimbabwe is still colonised by the British in terms of mindset. Our education system is dominated by the British and you find most Zimbabweans are so proud to speak English than their mother language. One brainwashed leader was saying the other day that Zimbabwe needs to belong to the Commonwealth and I found that to be so worrying because he is taking us back to colonialism. We have no confidence on ourselves and think that our problems can be solved by our our former colonisers. That on its own gives more advantage to the foreigner. Our problem is our mindset…let’s be proud of who we are.I respect this man to a certain degree.
I think the problem we have is having military leadership. They just understand violence. ZANUPF/ZANLA by virtue of being a liberation army has no time for debate but has continuously used violence. This is what needs to be addressed. The new dispensation started on a bad note by killing people in the streets of Harare. I doubt it can be reformed.
@@mandlenkosihlazo977 I don't agree with that line of thinking. People are responding to the current environment to survive. For example, in business, where you used to have an agreement by word of mouth, these days you have to reduce that to a written notarized document because you can loose money. There are people who are forced into entrepreneurship who should be on the shopfloor operating machinery. Within family setups, you have disputes because of money. This is because the Number 1 citizen is corrupt. He does not even bother to hide it.
Using Nkosana's analogy of choosing a leader as if they were competing for job, then he certainly is not what Zimbabwe wants. What is urgent for me, is not the economy. Zimbabwe needs social re-engineering. We have lost for one another and the country. A good economy only will not fix the corruption. It easily creates more opportunities for thieves. We need a leader who will take us on a path where everyone asks themselves "What is it that I can do for Zimbabwe?". Unfortunately, that is not Nkosana or any of the players who are big on mobilising yet so poor on organising citizens.
But Trevor are you saying we are damn in our selection of the presidency. Nkosana was rejected because he has lacks He should ask himself why people rejected him.
Right. People want to hear nyambo - jokes. Its frustrating, hence people with money decide to keep their money than financing these jokers. ED has the finance because he is the incumbent. The last time some people were financing for the purchase of a bullet-proof vehicle for this joke. I don't know if anyone has the latest position on that endeavor.
@@mandlenkosihlazo977 very correct, sad the jokers have been trying consistently until everybody pays attention to them, hence we end up with them in office because people don't see any other serious contenders available.
