For me after TVS Ntorq BSIV I guess this is the best upgrade for short inter district touring. Looks & that bassy exhaust note with popping sound on deacceleration just took away my heart. With participation of TVS in Dakar & National Rally Race events, I hope someday TVS will come up with Light weight Dual Sports motorcycle! Like direct competition to Xpulse. Or 310cc Dual sport will be even better !!
Hope to see another video on a good weather, coz it's one of those few bikes which screams practicality, currently I'm eyeing on fz25, with Ronin in line I'm just waiting for the hunter 350 to choose my next bike ❤️
In my opinion Fz25 is the better option : 1.45L ex-showroom . Dual ch ABS . 0-100 in less than 9 sec . Overall performance in the realistic speed range (0 - 120kmph ) is just awesome .(Can easily beat Ronin in terms of performance) . Comfortable Rider's triangle for touring . It doesn't have all that fancy stuffs like Liquid cooling ,4valve head ,DOHC , 6 speed transmission..150kmph top speed .... like it's rivals . Trust me , None of that really matters when you look at price to performance ratio , and how it feels to ride .

That chain cover definitely increases the chain life. Its better to have it from manufacturers and it is customer's choice to keep it or remove it. My xpulse has serious chain noise problems despite cleaning and lubricating it. In my opinion chain cover should be a mandatory part of the bike.

Thanks for the good review man. I ride a FZ25 1st generation. My younger brother is eyeing Ronin. One aspect on which Ronin loses out definitely is the pillion space and comfort. For other stuff, hope to you your detailed review soon, for him to decide between this, FZ or Honda CB250.

This is definitely the first review that says truth about the vibration. Every other review that I watched says you'll notice a little vibration on the pegs after 95 kmph. And I was like, who built such smooth machine? Aliens? With their tech way ahead than us?

Though I am a supersports bike lover, still I watched this video because I love the way you review a bike 😌 🙂This ronin seems to be a good commuter bike, but without strong midrange and with the vibration it can be a tiring cruiser 🤔😐, although royal enfield vibrates a lot...
Great content 👌 👏 😍as always. I hugely agree with your point regarding The pricing of Ronin when you have bikes like FZ25 and Pulsar N250 under 1.5lakhs with features like Dual channel ABS, slipper clutch and gear position indicator etc . These 2 bikes do a great job for offering 80% commuting and 20% touring occasionally to bikers who want a all round bike. I think they should have offered 2 variant of Ronin instead of 3 . One with Dual channel ABS and slipper clutch and other with all the goodies like Bluetooth connectivity, navigation etc. With better paint schemes of course because right now the red and blue colours are the only good paint schemes among all other Dual tone and triple tone paint schemes they offer. Even those Red and blue variants of the Ronin get only single channel ABS which is a bummer because most people love that simple Red and blue paint in the base variants of Ronin . Other paints haven't garnered that much love from people.
So bloody true! I hate the top end color schemes. I want either the Magma red or the Galactic black with top end features, but I don't think they have customization. So idiotic! Color scheme choices are so subjective!
I love how that looks. A nice middle ground between Honda's neo-cafe and Triumph's totally retro. A little bit like Husqvarna but more understated and less hipster.

Wonderful review.. You mentioned very correctly other 250 making more Power and torque but charging less.. But TVS just charging premium of USD forks and relaxed riding posture
I don't agree with what you said about the pricing.....nobody offers dual channel ABS, Bluetooth navigation with voice assist, shova suspension, slipper clutch(adjustable),great lcd display and GTT all in one bike at this price point.
TVS have delivered good motor bikes for a long time, I think it's safe to say that Ronin will be a good daily commuter, Hassel free and yet enough performance for fun! Cant wait for the fair and full review on this on a perfectly dry baked tarmac.
As always loved the content that you put out Sarge. I loved the wide angle pre-ride shot. Gives an interesting framing. In my honest opinion, the Duke line up is closer to "Ronin" badge than this motorcycle, which looks a lot of different motorcycle mashed up together, from head to tail. I am pretty sure that the motorcycle holds a lot of promise, but it aint no Ronin for sure.
they should have given 312cc engine with this ronin , I believe this was their plan earlier but somehow some stupid would have advised them not to go with that BMW engine , it would have been much more fun

1.5 lakh TVS bike is competing with 2 lakh Honda/RE bike and still better engine, better performance (not on paper) , better quality, better comfort because of better suspension esp rear monoshock unlike the rivals having stone age dual spring suspension, fully covered chain so no tension of chain and way better refined and reliable than those tractor kind of 350cc engines. Kudos to tvs

TVS should have offered this in 3 different versions like the yezdi . In my books , Yamaha fz25 and the new Pulsar N250 are way better option in sub 1.5 lakh segment .

But i don't understand why there are no authentic cafe racer bikes in India. Vitpilian is too modern looking. CB350RS isn't really authentic looking. The only authentic looking cafe racer is the GT650 and that's ridiculously expensive. I had wished this Ronin could come in a cafe racer version

TVS offers fully adjustable suspension for the RR310 BTO at 12k. So this doesn't make sense
its nice to see him getting the new bikes on time, I hope you add more drone shots

Those tyres with blocky patterns are of TVS Remoras know...and I guess there is no provision for having a windscreen in it

At the end, it's a TVS. It's going to vibrate like hell at higher RPMs.
That i can live with, the problem is the vibes at 4500rpm

I think it's a confusing bike . It is lacking that essence ..that sense of clear purpose a bike should have .
TVS should have offered this in 3 different versions like the yezdi .
In my books , Yamaha fz25 and the new Pulsar N250 are way better option in sub 1.5 lakh segment .

But i don't understand why there are no authentic cafe racer bikes in India. Vitpilian is too modern looking. CB350RS isn't really authentic looking. The only authentic looking cafe racer is the GT650 and that's ridiculously expensive. I had wished this Ronin could come in a cafe racer version
