Ronin is something fresh and modern. I have always disliked royal Enfield because for me their bikes are too outdated in terms of tech and design. Ronin looks modern and has riding modes, usd forks, digital console and led lights all around. Good job TVS.

Except the tail lamp and mud guard , everything is superb. A good looking retro bike .it has blended the elements of Yamaha , Jawa and Honda .I will definitely try to own one.
It cannot have any major harm to the likes of the RE. Cause it looks a bit confusing if it's a cruiser or a scrambler. If they would've brought the Zeppelin kind of cruiser styling then it would have been a game changer. Still let's hope for the best that this works for TVS. But it ain't gonna work for me.
When you mention Bajaj, you are simply reminding everyone that TVS bikes' very existence is due to Bajaj and it lacks any original ideas. TVS came up with Apaches years after Pulsa, like the 150 and 200. Even the Jupiter is an Activa clone. I like Ronin as it seems like an original and finally TVS is trying to innovate.

_That rear mud guard, makes it look weird... It could easily fight the Husqvarna and the yamaha fzx , or any of the neo retro bikes. But they had to add that un necessary bit. A simple tyre hugger would look and feel much better_

Please mention about the tank like tank cover is made of metal or fiber, because people who cannot afford or avoid 350cc segment will come to know. Like RE, java, honda and yezdi has metal tank under 350cc segment.
Keenly awaiting to know its mileage. My colleague's new Apache 160 dosen't give mileage over 40 km/ liter and this being 225 cc ,perhaps it's mileage would be around 35 km/liter
Nice sculpt on the styling done by TVS for Ronin. Looks small... I thought this as Scrambler. As Arun Ennum Naan - an adorable TH-camr said, Street Scrambler sounds as better category. I wish to call Ronin as Retro-Tourer or Touring-Scram category - a new of its kind. I would suggest TVS to improve Ronin with Liquid cooled engine, Spoked Wheels with tubeless tyres (as shown in Zeppelin's Auto show version) and off-road mode (or switchable ABS without any modes) and belt drive (instead of chain). That can make Ronin as India's unbeatable Scrambler or Tourer bike. But TVS used to focus on budget friendly bikes. Indian automobile sector's curse is many automobile makers think and treat Indians as buget-focused and chrome-liking people who are without knowledge about technical specs. and interest in ride/drive comfort. Major brands like Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Toyoto and others make separate downed, detuned and poor-quality versions for us calling that as Indian Versions. Even Indonesia and other small nations have International Veesions... Let's back to Ronin. I'm between Xpulse 200 4v and Ronin as of now. You can also do a comparison among Himalayan Scram, Yezdi Scrambler, Honda CB350 RS, Xpulse 200T or 200 4v and Ronin. very good bike, the same mistake TVS always does is "very short wheel base", they must increase the wheel base so that the bike becomes smooth over speed breakers and path-holes.
Everyone mocked Classic bikes a decade before but now everyone following the track of RE. Loved TVS than jawa 42 & Yamaha's funny fzx .. Tvs must come forward with muscular 400cc bike which could beat highness i would be happy if RE & tvs shares the Indian classic market .

Its is good as a cruiser bike, you can modify and add some elements like back and side carrier, also it is powerful enough to cruise.
