I’ve had my Rmax 4 for over a year and have put it through everything on my channel from peanut butter mud to boulder infested trails. It’s never skipped a beat and I’ve had zero issues in 1200 miles. Unless you’re after pure speed, the Rmax isn’t only the best Yamaha but I say it’s the best SXS out there right now period! I think a lot of people would agree as I see more and more out there on the trails every time I ride and with previous model wolverines I hardly ever saw any. There is also a growing number of Polaris and can am owners I know who have jumped ship to Yamaha due to the Rmax! That’s saying something cause Polaris and can am have some of the most devout fan boys out of all the other OEM’s! Yamaha absolutely hit it out of the park with the Rmax and it’s going to take some major revamping from the competition to knock it off it’s current throne!

So right on the money about the RMAX, it's easily one, if not the, best "do all" machines out there. I have the sport it's an amazing machine here in Utah on the trails or in the desert. Everyone I have ridden with has been impressed and it continues to impress me
I have 350 miles of mixed trail on my 2024 XTR. This has got to be the best recreation-sport UTV ever built. After my 15 hour break-in, I had all the fluids changed and then started driving it like it was rented. It inspires confidence in every type of terrain.
I've taken my 2021 RMax across Nfld twice and a third time will be in a few weeks. Rock climbing, mountain goating, river crossings, pavement, maintained fire roads. It does it all extremely well. I feel like a kid when I drive the thing.
We bought a ‘22 RMAX4 LE a few months ago to pull around the country in our camper. We needed 4 seats and the ability to fit in a 13’ garage with a little room to spare. The Talon 4 was my first choice, but left me no wiggle room. If I remember correctly, it left me 3.5” front to back, so we settled for the RMAX. So far we’ve ridden in the Black Hilks of SD, northern MT, and Central Oregon. It’s performed flawlessly on everything we’ve put it up against. Right now we’re outside Reno, but haven’t had a chance to ride here yet. I expect it’ll do fine. I do wonder how it will handle Sand Hollow and Moab in the fall. I’ve seen a few videos saying it comes with 30” Carnivores. I haven’t seen any set up like that. Is that a Canadian spec? Mine, and the others I’ve seen, came with 29” Carnage tires. As far as the AdventurePro, it’s a bit primitive, and doesn’t work well with polarized glasses, but has come in handy. My wife was able to figure out how to load the Polaris app on it, so we would be able to use the same maps our friends were using, but it was ridiculously slow, so I deleted it.
