    I was the largest Polaris dealer in the nation for years when Polaris terminated me for posting a comment against BLM. I was in business for 65 years . Had Harley Honda Polaris Yamaha KTM . By far the shop worked on Polaris non stop . Yamaha was the most dependable machines period . Polaris was by far was the worst of all .

    After being in the motorcycle and power sports business that sold Harley Honda Yamaha and Polaris I can tell you don’t buy a Polaris over any Yamaha .Yamaha is ten times better than Polaris

    Ok I have to say something about the dump bed feature on side x sides. If you are disappointed that the dump assist doesn’t help you dump enough then you have spent your money poorly. This machine is a TOY that happens to be useable for some tasks. The dump bed on this machine is for cleaning purposes and for access to the stuff underneath. If you need a utility machine buy one. If you buy the rmax go play! The bed is for your cooler, tools, deer stand, camping gear , etc. If you need a dump truck you can find one for way less than you spent on your rmax.

    If you're taking the SXS's to the ranch you need to take the Viking and compare it to it's competitors. Good video Case

    These side by sides seemed to me to be a great alternative to building out a Jeep or some other favorite 4X4 until I watched Matt's Off Road Recovery channel. More specific information on the durability and/or lack there of with the front suspension would be very helpful. They seem to recover these things daily with snapped suspensions. Some of it is pure abuse, but other times it seems like they may need to improve the strength of the front suspension especially before I'd spend that kind of money.

      Go watch our Yamaha RMAX Rubicon videos. The Rubicon is notorious for causing high attrition to Jeeps. We took a dozen RMAXes through and the only things we had to replace were 2 tie rods.

      As the owner of a RZR XP1000 and previous Jeep enthusiast, I promise you a SidexSide will take way more abuse than a Jeep will. I would have a Jeep again for blasting around town in the summer, but after owning a SidexSide, I would never waste money building another Jeep for off-roading. The SidexSide will do anything a Jeep will do offroad better, faster, and cheaper with less likelihood of failure. If something does break, it's easier to recover and the parts are 1/4 the price.

    • @jacob-kf2gf
      @jacob-kf2gf ปีที่แล้ว

      If you abuse a machine by jumping it your probably gonna break something. They are much more durable than a Jeep when you consider the everyday abuse they take

    Test drove one. Brand new and the tender springs were collapsed, empty. Every bump transferred up the spine. I so wanted this thing, just didn’t ride well. Poor foot room as well.

  • @jabroni6199

    Sorry guys but the X3 is where it’s at for the Desert. I used to think I wanted a RZR until this past weekend when I rented both and put them through their paces in the deserts of SoCal. Really wasn’t even close. If you want to cruise through the desert and have a convenient vehicle around the farm, these utility SxS will work, but if you want to rip through the desert, X3… no question.

    • @RyanRKJ
      @RyanRKJ 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      What RZR did you drive? The Pro R looks like it should do well in the desert.

    • @jabroni6199
      @jabroni6199 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RyanRKJ XP 1000 not sure which trim. Not really interested in the new Pro. Too new, too expensive and I’d rather have a lighter engine with a turbo. Power to weight ratio is virtually the same and the turbo will do better at elevation.

    The RMAX is very impressive trails and rocks but if you fill the tiny bed close to capacity with rocks or sand, etc. you will not be able to dump it by yourself. It also doesn't have turf mode. Not impressive as a utility sxs.

      Wolverine rmax, x2 is Recreation sxs, the viking is the utility, and the pure sport is the yxz. There's a difference Like the ranger vs, general, vs rzr. Different lass of machines.

    I like this channel and some of the videos they do i think are pretty cool but I just watched the dirt trax video and that video in my opinion is much better than this one in the fact that they know what they are talking about way more then the TFL test rider. Also I feel like they missed a good opportunity from sending out a side guy to test ride it rather than one of the main guys of the channel or a professional about side by side and it would have made a much better video
