She's definitely right, the fighting needs to stop. These two generals are tearing the country apart and innocent people are suffering because of it.

Hermela you are doing great! We should not be narrow minded and limited to one country. Africa should wake-up and clean its houses. Western or others are after their interest not in the interest of Africa. STOP neo colonialism. I wish peace to the Sudanese.

With blood in their hands yet sleep well remorselessly. What breeds such evil people.

The Sudan story is really sad and disheartening. Where is the hope, what is the cause and what do the two factions want? What factors are at work? I think it would be interesting and helpful to hear about other stories in Africa. Stories of promise and productivity and progress anywhere in the horn and anywhere in Africa. There is desperation and tragedy in every country on earth.
This is not new to Africa. Is Sudan and the horn really being held captive by two knuckleheads? Kind of like the Ethiopian conflict, I was generally unclear about what was behind the conflict for the longest time. It sounds like the forces behind this conflict are also unclear and ambiguous. I will assume that the US deep state has been planning and nurturing a potential conflict unless something else is uncovered. If either of these forces are being supported and empowered by the deep state, they will not have any reason to stop unless they can broker a power share, in which case they will then be empowered to cause conflict "legitimately" for the US indefinitely.
Legitimizing coups, corruption, dictators etc. is essentially the business model of empire/neoliberal lawfare/destabilization statecraft etc. It's a tragedy for Sudanese, but is day to day business for the deep state/Wall St./big tech/WHO/USAID/multi-nationals like Exon and Coke and Cargill, Black Rock, Goldman Sachs etc.

Libya, Sudan, Somalia, are all destroyed by one cause: endogamy, preferential marriage within the kinship group.
This family structure leader to the break-up of the society into clans which engage in a perpetual war.
As long as anthropological reforms are not undertaken vigorously to return to the absolute prohibition of marriage within the kinship group in these countries and by extension on the whole of the african Continent, these civil wars will be without end.
The african Continent will always have death and desolation as unsurpassable horizons.
