I been look forward to HermelaTV report on the latest from Niger and other African Countries and affairs, so few report on that huge part of the world. I think because of a multi currency World rising and other Countries like Russia and China that are friends with many African Countries and the fact they are Military superpowers too make for interesting times we are in as we witness other Countries are pushing Back against the west imperialism and colonialism. She reported intervention is off for now, I hope peace prevails.

African union is a union of African leaders not the union of the African people . Africans are not represented by directly elected delegates who are answerable to their electorate AU will remain a union of African leaders who are at the least only partially answerable to the the western masters to maintain their political powers. AU will remain an African leaders debating club that gets together once a year and exercise their debating skills and part with no legal frame work or enforcement mechanisms to put in to effect the resolutions and agreements of their annual meetings. AU to me to be a viable effective African organization needs to have a legislature that enacts an all abiding body of laws, a judiciary that oversees and adjudicates lawlessness and conflicts and reconciles opposing public and private interstate and intrastate interests and an answerable enforcement body to compel the rulings of the arbitrating judiciary be followed. Then only then would we be talking of a United Africa under a truly uniting organization that have both the tooth to bite with and the jaw muscles to make the bite worthwhile.

The Op Ed by “Mohamed Bazoum was hilarious. The Washington Post - down to its usual standards. Dear Editor,…..Next week can we have an Op Ed by Haile Selassie.

If the people of Niger possessed the technical and industrial ability to mine, process and export the resources, they would already be doing that, yes?

Hermela can we talk about what is happening in Ethiopia? Why not give this issue a light? Why not tell the rest of the world what the government of Ethiopja is doing to its own people?
