Li ming buying heart bubble tea , them dressing up as mascots so that Heart can experience the work life without being alone , then Wen comes in and gives them the "side-eye" like boy we know 😭👀🤣 These two are more obvious than the hints in Dora the explorer. - Not Alan being petty , but honestly through the flashbacks it seems they broke up even before Jim came into the equation. Feels like Alan is just looking for a reason since he doesn't want to take the "I fell out of love with you" one from Wen. Sigh .

First's acting is something we all agree on is top tier - the bank segment with the scowls while still carrying on the business of the title deed as loan collateral - but the tiny details are what gets to me, for example: 9:57 the way Alan's foot comes from under the desk to beneath his chair and is shaking as if he can barely remain in his chair to get the business at hand done without leaping over the desk and pummeling Uncle Jim and at 10:08, while Uncle Jim is signing the document, his foot can't be seen but the way his upper body is shaking, you know his foot shaking is in turbo mode with anger and frustration. Not just his upper body and head, but even the back of the chair is trembling and it continues during their conversation, even though the camera isn't even on his foot beneath the chair, First stays right in character from top to bottom.

First's acting is something we all agree on is top tier - the bank segment with the scowls while still carrying on the business of the title deed as loan collateral - but the tiny details are what gets to me, for example: 9:57 the way Alan's foot comes from under the desk to beneath his chair and is shaking as if he can barely remain in his chair to get the business at hand done without leaping over the desk and pummeling Uncle Jim and at 10:08, while Uncle Jim is signing the document, his foot can't be seen but the way his upper body is shaking, you know his foot shaking is in turbo mode with anger and frustration. Not just his upper body and head, but even the back of the chair is trembling and it continues during their conversation, even though the camera isn't even on his foot beneath the chair, First stays right in character from top to bottom.

also I can't even describe by words how much I LOOOVEEE that there's no subtitles for Heart's sign language. I feel like we're living as Heart in those moments: we can kind of tell what's going on, but we don't know for sure. It's very humbling.
