I love how everyone in this series is an everyday person. None of their jobs are too fancy or unrealistic. I like the fact that Alan is a credit officer in a bank. I'm also a credit officer in a bank and I've never felt represented because it's not a decorated job. But it's a real job to many people. At the beginning, I thought that Wen will be super rich from a business family but turns out he's a regular guy too with a decent job. Not all of us need to be chefs or painters or singers, etc. Even Jim is a normal cook who's trying to make ends meet and not master chef chopping away his vegetables and meat like a pro. This is one of the most real shows I've come across and appreciate it a lot.

Watching this after two months and yes. This BL series chooses to tell a story of ordinary people. We, audience, can relate to the characters because they have similar lives with us. The director portrayed this very good.

this was such a plot twist. I thought Jim's story was going to be the typical sort, but then when the newscaster started talking about the capsized ferry and they brought Jim into the morgue i started crying. No wonder he's so cautious and his heart is closed off. Earth did really well in his scenes here.
Li Ming may be blunt with his words and a scrappy fighter when he's standing up for the right thing but the fact that he had a talk with Heart's mom and apologized was more mature than I expected. and the way Heart's face brightened up; it's like the sun just came out from the clouds in that moment!
That was so heartbreaking
actually i think ming is the best character in my opinion.
But Liming should change his ways in the way he he treats his uncle,,he is very rude, he should try to understand uncle Jim sometimes, we need to respect our parents sometimes,,they are always worried for us

There is something in EarthMix chemistry that makes them very different from other ships. I can't put my finger on what it is but that combined with P'Aof's direction has clearly made that riverside scene amazing. It's just those subtle, simple gestures that make their pair very unique.
And GeminiFourth! So happy to see them taking characters with such depth. Hat's off to the casting team

I honestly think it’s because there’s a sort of maturity and depth to it. With a lot of other ships, they’re adorable but just don’t have that maturity and depth. That feeling like looking at these people is like coming home, such a comfort. There’s such an unbridled deep warmth.

jim is in a position where he is never truly ever able to get closure on his relationship…plus the feeling of getting cheated on AND the guilt he feels because of his death. it’s just such an awful situation from every aspect😭

I think I need to express some of my feelings towards this situation even though it is on the internet. As someone who has been through the exact same situation, as I loved someone and later on we had our ups and downs, and then I got hints he was cheating so I blasted out and left him. 3 days later he died from a motorcycle accident. I always blamed myself thinking I was the reason behind his death. And always wondering about his final thoughts in his last moment, or what I meant to him through all these years. I have so many unanswered questions which made me stuck for years. Recently I am able to move on alittle but I became numb. Actually very numb that I don't think I can ever experience to feel love towards someone again. I've tried but I couldn't feel anything no more. This is why I really understand Jim, it is really traumatizing and a very hard situation to heal from. It is much much worse than any breakup in life. But I do believe time do heal the wounds, even alittle.

This series is really a masterpiece and EarthMix really did great acting. finally there's a series which shows us the reality of our lives what we go through in our day-to-day life. not everything is like we've caring boyfriend and healthy relationships and whom we fall in love he would love back sometimes it's incomplete and there's so many problems which we don't know how to solve them like gaipa he loves uncle Jim but i don' t think he'll ever get that love from uncle jim i feel bad for gaipa and alan as well but this is life we just have to stick with our life and not give up.
The series was done in full, I haven't watched such a good series in a long time. I sincerely hope that the end will be happy, I don't feel sorry for anyone, if they had continued to live as they have until now, life would pass and no one would be happy.
kudos to the writers, directors, the choice of actors, they are all wonderful

They get better and better each time!!! 😭 Like their portrayal of Wen and Jim is so real idk they are such good actors!!! Hoping for more series wih them like this! I need more of these kind of shows where we see everyday life people live their lives. This entire series feels so realistic and it is portrayed in the most beautiful way. I literally cried when we got the flashback of Jim and Beam's story and then the entire peer-scene was so beautifully executed. You really feel Wen's longing (I admire his persistency!) and Jim's inner fight to not give in.... The chemistry is unreal with EarthMix

queer relationships are so stressful and hard omg like, i don't think beam wasn't in love with jim. i think he was putting up a front of having a girlfriend to protect himself from the cruelty of this world. or maybe he liked them both and was confused. but it was so unfair to jim (and probably his gf) and yet he still felt guilty for not letting beam explain. he shouldn't have to bear this burden but he does because he's human. this series really outdid itself. my expectations were nowhere near this high but they raised my standards for slice of life dramas.
I don't think Gaipa and Alan even get to meet, if i remember correctly this was filmed before The Eclipse so maybe here they didn't know how perfect the chemistry between them is.
They were never going to be a couple on this. The characters were never meant to meet and were only there for the two love triangles. It just so happened that FirstKhao were cast to play these roles but they aren't going to be a couple in this. And this was filmed after The Eclipse. The Eclipse was on air 6 months ago and filming for MLC started in June of 2022.
