Spyder ride sure beats cutting the grass. Wish we had a ferry ride close by. Always great to get on the water. What’s with the mid 70’s. We passed thru the Badlands National Park after lunch at Wall Drugs and it was a toasty 107. So many bikes heading to Sturgis. Glad you guys got out. Won’t be long till the meet up. God Bless ,Ray & Linda on our way home. Hoping Debbie stays west.
Really enjoyed watching you ride today! It feels so much peaceful….i don’t ride as often as I wish so i imagine myself following you and i enjoy the landscape Have a great weekend my friends!
Miriam , so sorry to hear of your Dad passing. Sending prayers for comfort. It was a nice day for a ryde on the Spyder. Tracy and I have done that. I don’t enjoy mowing even with a rider mower. Any excuse is a good one 😅 Ryde safe and God Bless
Glad to see you visited Pass the Salt. We love that place and go there every time we pass through the area. So sorry to learn about your dad, Miriam. We have kept you in our prayers.
Thank you, Wilma. It has felt harder this time. I guess it’s the double whammy of experiencing my own loss and also seeing my mother’s sadness. This past Sunday would have been their 70th anniversary. Many, many blessings…trying to focus there.
Sorry to hear about your loss Miriam. Thanks for sharing, and for sharing your lives with us on your Spyder travels. Love your channel. Ride blessed you all
Sorry to hear about you dad's passing Miriam. I have kind of been out of the loop on here. A good ride is what everyone needs that has a bike just to get out and think and unwind especially on a nice day
What a wonderful ride! The weather here has been too hot to enjoy a ride; 90's with humidity into the 100's and the thunderstorms that come with it. Next week looks better as we are preparing for a couple of September trips (I rewatched your packing videos for great tips) Cheers to the Mission Commander and her Pilot. Now, I gotta mow the lawn 😂
Enjoyed a ride with some of my CMA chapter members via back roads to through Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive to Luray and Front Royal to Linden to eat at the Apple House. We usually go to the Outer Banks every two years and 168 is always crowded heading north or south. We usually stay in Corolla. Haven't taken the Knotts Island Ferry yet but will have to ride the Spyder to enjoy that adventure.
Thank you, Jody and Tommy. Thank you for your card too. We have been blown away by all the kindnesses. There is joy amongst the sorrow! My 89 year old mother is and has been an absolute marvel. Yesterday would have been their 70th anniversary.
@@miriambryant1896 awhh... I'm sure that was a tough day for her... missing the love of her life... Oh this circle of life can be so hard sometimes for sure, Miriam! 🙏❤️🥺
Looks like a nice ride. Unfortunately it's hot, too hot for me to ride but maybe tomorrow we'll get up early and go for breakfast and back home before it hits 90.
Very sorry to hear you lost your Dad, It makes for a tough time for a while. Beautiful ride and I have always enjoyed your little scripted pieces. You two have very good imaginations.
Great video, guys. Big shout out to John on the lead-in. That was classic! Looks like a beautiful ride. I've only traveled once on a car ferry and it was very cool.
Miriam, I'm sad to hear of you dad's passing. Never a good time when a parent departs. Yall had a very nice ride I see. For we old folks it's been too hot to go out into the day. Some days in the hundreds. Have yourselves a very good day. Later.
"Still have time to cut the grass", perfect ending to a perfect day and a romantic ferry ride. Maybe Millie and I go for a Spyder ride after our morning walk and your inspiration. Condolences Miriam.
Miriam, sorry to hear of your father's passing. When I was struggling with the same situation, a friend told me to only remember the good times. I've spread the same quote many times. Enjoy the sunny days, glad you could remind John that there was enough time to mow the grass. My yard takes a solid 2 hours- no trimming.!! Putting off until tomorrow is my famous line. Of course living alone I get only positive feedback. 👍👍
A Beautiful day for a ride I Loved the start to your video I laughed and I looked at my husband we do that. I am so sorry to hear that your Dad has passed sending Love and hugs from afar. (Australia) ❤
Sunny and 70s... in July... that's perfect for riding. Luv'd the intro, and way to go John, you got back just in time to make sure that lawn mower gets a little wind therapy too 😂👍

What a beautiful day for a Spyder ride. Not leaving the 70's... totally jealous. Mowing the grass....nope never gonna do that again.
Nice day

John, why dont you use the factory Garmin Nav on your Spyder.....other spyder owners neither use it....WHY????
