I've tested a few of these and the ones that were the most inconspicuous were the camera pen mounted on a breast pocket amongst real pens and pencils/screw drivers to give of that I'm an electrician vibe or to imply you're taking a break from some DIY work or the hands free phone blutooth device that you can record with. No one thinks anything of it in this day an age but these lighters are kind of hard to use in real world situations. You can't record how you would really use a normal lighter. You have to hold it in a horizontal position. Ironically the thing that often gives these devices away isn't even the camera lens, it's the large unnecessary light bulb that they often have included for night vision or so you can also use the lighters as mini flash lights. I would only really recommend the camera phone hands free kit, the breast pocket mounted wide view pens and maybe a button cam if you can get one with a high resolution, wide view and anti shake technology which wouldn't come cheap. All the other ones on the market are a waste of money. Little novelty items that you won't really be able to use on your day to day.
Do you have any idea if it can be hooked up to a portable battery bank for longer record times? I just got this same camera in the mail today and didn't read the record time correctly. Needed something that can record for at least 4 hours.

I got this but when I play back the video it's all messed up. Like, the colours are all tinted, blue tint, purple tint etc then the real colour (depending on the light) and back again with random colours. Is might a defect? Or am I using the wrong player to play them in?
Not sure but maybe it's the automatic night vision going on and off depending on the light. Try it outdoors on a sunny day to see if it does the same or turn on more lights indoors.

Like any other spy devices, you have to use a video editor to combine all the separate video clips together. Allot of these devices only do separate video clips from 3-10 minutes each(even though it is continuous recording).
I bought it and it works by pressing the button for a long time the recording starts immediately without doing anything else doing 4/5 vibrations if I hold it down once quickly stops the recording, the night vision does not work, ... never

You can plug and play directly from the lighter.

Is the recording continuous? Say I record for an hour will it be played for an hour? Thanks
It saves videos in 5 minute sections so one hour would have 12 videos saved.

No, it has no wifi connection, must plug it in via usb to view videos or put the memory card in your phone and view that way.

It is just slightly bulky but is just over 3 and 1/8 inches, similar to most standard lighters, and it is about the same thickness and width of a bic.
