So this is the first Spy Pen i have ever used.
I bought this to record a covert meeting, I needed this for
personal reasons.
The Pen feels and looks like a regular pen, stylish one too.
You can write with it as normal pen would. But it has a 32GB MicroSD card included and installed. You can record video or take photos. You unscrew the pen from the middle to uncover a hidden USB connection, which you can use to charge the pen or transfer the video files to watch on your PC or TV.
The pen has a built in 900mAh rechargeable battery and works quite well.
On a full charge you are able to record about 60-90 mins of constant video.
The quality of the video and photos is quite good in outdoor conditions or in good lit room. Video is recorded with audio.

Is there something like this out there without the light being on throughout the recording period? The light gives away the fact that its not just a pen.
When the pen is hooked on a front pocket you can't see the light and the camera can record. If your writing with the pen, while recording get a small piece of black tape and cover the light. I have not seen a pen camera without a light, as the light tells you whether it's recording or not.
it does exist actually, if i am to correct you and there's a video that's been out on it before the one you've shown in your video.

The light is on the back of the pen and it is not seen on the front. So its ok.

Manufacturer should get rid of the LED .
Yes small piece of duck tape works well.
LED is on the back so if its in your shirt pocket other person is not going to see it.
You need to see the LED's blinking to let you know what mode the camera is in. Sometimes you will think you pressed the button long enough to record, then you go home and see there are no video files on the memory card... so you need to watch the pen's LED's when you push & hold the top button
The one I'm testing has an LED on the back (reverse of the clip), but it only flashes three times when you push the button to start or stop the camera; the LED does not illuminate at all while it's recording. Because it's made for a shirt pocket, nobody will see it anyhow since the LED's up against your shirt.

I like it however I need the light to stop once it start to record otherwise it's easy for someone to tell the light just a few meters away

Great video! This kind of voice recorder is really convenient and easy to use. Not long ago, I bought a voice recorder of this renhotecic brand. After using it for a period of time, it feels very convenient and the effect is good. If you need a portable recording, you can use one as a spare.

1) Charging the pen, how long does it take to charge it via your PC? There is no light indication to confirm whether it's charging or not.

Oh, if Ian Fleming could see us now! Each one of these looks a little different and the features vary slightly, which is cool because they're not easily recognizable. The one I've got looks similar to yours, but it's not the same one. Its USB port has a proper metal frame around it, so it can plug into a laptop like a flash drive. One I saw can take still pictures, and the LED colors vary from model to model as well.

assuming you arent literally braindead, and you are using it properly it would work
step one active the recording before you go into the room you are trying to record in
step two place the pen in your pocket and if you put it in properly, the led should face the inside of your pocket

After shooting a clip, put your memory card into the PC and you will see a text document, open that and change as required.

Flashing light is facing the body and you wont see it, i owned one before worked great now looking for a newer version. i took videos of customers while doing contract work on homes and have recorded in event anything comes up i have proof. protect yourselves.

B SURAJ they can't see the flashing light because the small camera faces towards them so you're the only one who can see it (or the others on your back). Just cover it with something so it won't be visible.
