No one ever uses that tool correctly.. You are suppose to loosen the bolts for the hinge to body then use the tool to lift the door to slightly above the right alignment and then snug the bolts. All bending like this does is temporarily resolve the alignment before the metal settles again and also warps the crap out of the brass bushings in the hinges.
Honestly don't think so. Oftentimes the hinge just starts sagging due to bending or wearing of the pin, not the bolts dropping. The tool probably bends it back up
My door keeps making popping noise every time I get out body shop says it's normal all my other doors don't do this I just want it to be quiet smooth like why
Almost certainly the door jack or the catch inside for it, little indented rod that comes from the pillar and lets your door have various opening positions.

Name the key?
buts that’s not the fix, a few weeks and it might bend down again, you need to adjust the hinges
Makes sense
So... in other words, you bent the hinge when you should've loosened the bolts on the hinge before prying?
I'm assuming the bolts on the hinge were loose while they were using the tool.

Definitely not lol
Hey mate, whereabouts does that tool come from that'd be perfect for what I need to do
Will this work on a 96 miata? If so where can I buy that tool
Do not use this tool. It’ll wear down your hinges and it’ll droop worse in a month.
@@leroyrodriguez3004 thanks but I sold my Miata
All you've done is bend the hinge up it needs proper adjustment
Where to buy that tool
It only bends the door hinge up it needs proper adjustment

Check if the door snags the fender at any point. If not it could be the sliding mechanism that keeps your door in certain positions when open
