last summer I went with my grandma to a concert like this one and I was the youngest there, the rest were more then 50 years old. I was the center of attention when people saw me coming in (15 years old)
This is weird to me because, where I live, everyone of every age despises classical music, especially the older generation. I meet ten times more younger people into music from before the 20th century than older. I wish I lived somewhere it was appreciated, if that is anywhere in the world anymore

13 min... Put nearly hundreds of people in a single room, all awake to the fullest mode and no one saying a single word, this is a real magic of Vivaldi, making people watching the world for a few minutes.
Listening to this in the heart of a frigid winter and I find it incredible that vivaldi was able to capture meteorological phenomena and somehow turn it into music.
When I watch & hear exceptional musicians like Julia Fischer -- or anyone performing on that stage for that matter -- I regret the discipline I lacked in my life.
When we lived in Norway, I understood what Vivaldi was describing with his Four Seasons. Now in north Georgia continues to speak! Julia is SUPERB! Incredible gift she has! Also as a Pianist!
OMG another great playing. Crisp orchestra strings, and admirable solo playing. I never heard of this Fischer but she has a delightful baroque spirit. This orchestra is splendid also. They go together so well.
+funny guy Yes, she's easy on the eye's no doubt, but being an accomplished musician myself and a lover of Vivaldi and Bach, I truly think she's an amazing player and a musical inspiration.
what an amazing interpretation...I would have shouted bello or something like that and stand..ALso she brings to her interpretations some nuances of the piano expression which really keep you on tiptoe and surprise you all along the way. Its such a crisp playing and technique as well. What a great talent!
Like this for three reasons, first, it features all 3 movements of the Winter. A fact we often forget, is that Winter is a 3-movement concerti. Second, as a live video it includes some well-chosen winter landscape, to fit the music, which is as beautiful as the music itself. Three, the musician herself has mastered this piece, without overwhelming other musicians' performance. We can hear every part of sound. And the speed is moderate, I don't like it toooooo fast, too voilent. One thing to blame, maybe, is the audio's quality, but it's the least.
Julia Fischer’a violin and technique. Always been my most top fave of all performances on Winter. It’s just so clean, smooth and perfect on timing and feeling, texture and just right consistency of audio. Everything so good. Wish alot more violinists had violins like her’s. It has it’s own melody
I must confess, I only listened to WINTER, but oh my OH MY! Her genius is a gift for us mere mortals. As it snows here, I see the music . Had she not shown me, it would have been so much colder. BRAVA!
She looks like she is making love to that violin. Passion written all over her expression. And that is exactly why she progressed to this level of mastery.
+Jo Do What? That's so wrong, if you see someone doing something wrong you tell them so they don't make it again. I'm sure MiwaSchwa won't make this mistake again. What you're trying to say is just selfishness.

how insulting! i cant even turn in this hole you call coffins!
Grumbel Bumbel 😂
I can only pretend to imagine what Vivaldi was thinking when he composed this.
... Of winter?
It's night time in the forest. Snow is blowing through the pine boughs. Sometimes gusts. Sometimes heavy. Always falling.
Another conection...
@@LittleBlacksheep1995 Obviously, I guess Alex is thinking about how did Vivaldi put winter in sound language with the tools he had at the moment.

Wow! She is top drawer. And the palace of the nymphs sounds like a fun place to hang out!

it's a good part but you shouldn't repeat it too much or make it too long. It would lose it's magic if over used.
its true but just little longer
no. According to R. Schumann, the music is already relatively perfect and must not be altered by any means, So enjoy this :)
