Huge and crudely made, but indeed strong, surely not made for home use, nice job ! A pity you don't know how to make real fries, those you cook look very greasy and soft. Maybe you didn't fry them in two times like we do here in France ?

I think the electrolysis didn't remove the rust because only the base of the part being restored was actually connected the negative terminal. All of the parts would have needed to be interconnected to either that base piece through wires/conductors or directly connected from the metallic bar suspending each part in the electrolyte solution.

You wasted your time..all cast parts should've been wired and you should've used a steel or iron rod as an anode not that piece of pipe..and the pusher block is zinc or aluminum and shouldn't have gone in with everything

You could have restored this more effective if u have a sandblaster and nickel plating sollution for screws and nuts.
