In the past 2 years I have found 2 2018 Yamaha AV receivers, 2017 Focal speakers, and just last month a high end Sony Soundbar/Subwoofer combo from 2016. It's amazing what people just give away for free at thrift stores, all work great and had their remotes too, I didn't spend more than $40 on any of these. Might sell the receivers and speakers and keep the soundbar for myself. (I will forever be a headphones type of guy so I wouldn't need fancy Hi-Fi speakers really) Great video!

Thanks for sharing your scores! You got some great audio! I am always amazed also at the stuff I see people giving away. I used to have a really nice set of headphones back in the day. those things had amazing sound quality. I do have a pair of beats earbuds that sound very good. have a fantastic weekend and God bless! 😂🙏

Hi Rudy. WOW , you've found some bargains there and going to make a good profit. Just imagine what it would of all cost, when they were brand new. In the UK, not many charity shops sell electrical items due to electrical items needing PAC testing (Portable appliance testing) before they can be re sold. 😀

Hi Peter, Yes some good finds for sure! most shops don’t sell them out here either because if they don’t work, then they have the hassle of recycling them. But I’m sure these things cost a pretty penny when they were brand new.
Have a great weekend! God bless! 😊🙏

NIce Haul! There will always be a music lover and or hifi fan that will be in the market for a good stereo system. Wives across America don't appreciate the space this stuff takes up but thank god for man caves and garages haha. For many years I was a single bachelor and my pad where I used to live kinda looked like a bar and concert hall lol. Cheers...

Thank you! I agree with you on the wives statement… I’ve sold equipment to a few guys who were worried that their wives wouldn’t let them put the equipment in the house!😂
I do know a few guys who have music rooms-man caves in their homes. Thanks for watching and posting! Have a great weekend!
      Cheers & God bless! 😊🙏

I see these old boxes of electronics (aka receivers, etc) all the time in the thrift stores here in my city of over 2M. No one wants to deal with all the knobs and wires and speaker placement (with wires showing and running under rugs) and who are we kidding...AM/FM radio 🤣Unfortunately, these relics are just of no practical use in this micro-sized wireless world.
Same thing with all those 35mm SLR cameras of yesteryear. Just elegant and amazing paperweights.

Thanks for posting your thoughts. To many people you are 100% correct. But to the people who collect CDs, Vinyl and Tape formats… and there are still very many. The are a must! Plus the sound quality you get is still better than streaming music because you really don’t have control over the sound you get. I see your point more on the cameras. But there’s still a big market for Receivers, equalizers, turntables and turntables. In my opinion the sound can’t be beat and what hobbies are practical. Thanks for sharing you point. I respect your opinion.
      God bless! 😊🙏
