We towed this rig with a 21 Silverado 1500 and it was sketchy. It was hard to keep it in a lane when cars and trucks pass us by and when it was windy. We ended up upgrading to a 22 Silverado 2500, MUCH better and well worth it for towing safely and comfortably down the road. I wouldn't tow it with a 1500....my opinion. The trailer itself is amazing much happier with this one over our last rig which was a Wildwood 28VBXL.
I do have the 2019 Grand Design 2800BH and I do tow with 1/2 ton truck GMC Sierra with 6.2 and tow like it’s nothing and on the bed of the truck I put mine Ducati V4, so far so good and I did two long trips .
@@HISVOICE4LIFE the payload is 2.185. But each truckload is different, I was worried with mine because the trailer looks so robust, but the truck haul is incredibly good.
Anyone here towing this rig with a 1/2 ton? And what your experience with it? Thnx in advance

What’s you payload? Mine is 1580 and with your description mine would be over the layload
