The thing I hate about all the video reviewers is, they NEVER tell you the MSRP. That is the first thing I want to know before I waste all my time looking at something I can't afford!!!
You can google it?
Gabby's walkthrough was great. Thor's build quality...not so much. 14:49 - What's even more disturbing than some assembly worker forgetting to install these table mounts is the fact that no QC process caught it. Gabby caught this mistake, what else did they 'forget' to do during manufacturing? Tighten a water line? Check the wiring? Seal a seam? For too many years US RV manufacturers have gotten away with leaving final QC to customers, only to give them a run around when their shoddy workmanship is discovered. Now RV dealers are having buyers sign docs at purchase absolving the dealer of any responsibility. Nope. "Give us your money and we'll make it right. Trust us." No thanks. Fix it before you sell it. Then stand behind it or keep it.
Every off season I go through one section of my Thor and do repairs on how I think it should have come from the manufacture.
It’s a Thor, what do you expect?
Well done Gabby. I really like how you are so relaxed and easy going while educating the masses
Thank you!
I LOVE these smaller Thor RVs!
Me too! Thanks for watching
Excellent! I like the dove colors, love the big windows in bedroom & bath area, love the door (and full-length mirror!) that closes off bath area so you have a large bathroom rather than two separate areas. Love that both the toilet and the shower both have skylights. Wish the microwave combo was at shoulder or counter level. Is older folks have some difficulty bending down! Only minuses for me are the step-downs from bed & cab. So easy for older folks to forget about that on the way to bathroom or kitchen!
Good points!
Nice review Gabby!! Good catch on the "no place to put the table legs." I recently saw a review of a different model of this with twin beds in the rear. Glad to see this one with the bigger bed.
The cost to replace that front windshield…9 Bazillion dollars (not totally accurate, I rounded up). Good review - Gabby 👍
I should really find out the cost to replace just out of curiosity... Thanks!
That windshield actually retails for 17 Dingdongdillion dollars and 88 cents , to be accurate.
In most states there is a windshield clause in your insurance to replace it for free. Unless people purchase crappy PIP insurance.
How much for the axssthaour
Idk he much to replace the Axis windshield but we’ve had to replace the windshield in our Tiffin Phaeton x3 in the last 3 years and each time it was about $5000 though most of the cost was covered by insurance fortunately.
Love the light colors throughout, so much easier to find things, love 💕
I’m new to the channel but I really really really enjoyed the video. I need to buy some lottery tickets but yeah I enjoyed the video very informative and let’s just say you ladies are nice to look at.
Thank you this is one of my favs to buy!
If the quality was up to par, these units would be awesome. We had a Thor Vegas 24.1. Perfect size, great to drive (ton of power for that sized unit), but the workmanship was so shoddy. We got rid of it after a year and upgraded to a Holiday Rambler. The design of this Axis is very nice, especially the bathroom.
Nicely done. Looks like a well-designed unit.
Excellent information, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Quaint. Nice desk location. Oh, another drawer. How's the comfort on the throne? Roomy bed, Kamasutra approved. Well, who's gonna know, you know? Thanks. Nice job, Gabby.
Great video !!! Love the look !!!
Glad you liked it!!
It is really nice inside I like it 👍🏼
I think so too!
Love your videos Gabby!
Thank you!
I would like one like this it has alot of room great job describing everything thanks
Thanks for watching!
Thor quality, through and through. 😮
😂
😂😂😂
Great video. Sleeping capacity is now increased by 1(outside storage ) per the demonstration. !
Love the floor plan and outside storage
HAHA true! Thanks for watching!
Excellent video and review.
So glad you also included pictures with the slide in.
Love the unit, would prefer it without slides so if I went in this direction the idea would be just not to use the slide. Thanks!!!
Glad it was helpful, thanks for watching!
Great comment about the missing poles holes
Too funny!! Thanks for watching
I want to see Matt get his fat you know what into a storage compartment! LOL Nice video Gabby. I look forward to watching many more.
Great review Gabby. I am a 24.1 owner as well and really enjoy my Axis. It felt validating to hear you are on the 24.1 team. 😅
Thanks for watching Shayne!
The drawers are wobbly....
Nice review Gabby! Will you be doing retail and sale pricing??? I like the Axis.
Hi! Usually I do not. MSRP on this exact one right now is $179,521 and sale price is $119,995!
@@RVswithGabby Just subscribed because you answer people's questions in the comments section. ❤
4000!!!!!
It needs a door on the shower not a curtain. And not sure that Inlike that recliner . Need to be able to relax in it and have additional power charger for phones etc. The bed over the cab does not support much weight. But all in all nice looking!
Why don't they put the generator on slide out rails (like the griddle) so you can do maintenance on it? doesn't make any sense to me to have it in-closed like that.
Good point. Not sure if maybe the space is too tight? I'll have to ask a rep next time they visit our dealership...
Very nice, but pricey. Great color scheme.
I like sister o
Great video. Things are missing from the factory, I'm wondering what else is missing. : No drinkholders or recliners : (
Drink holders are in every table and also around driver passenger area!
Hi Gabby, How come you don't give prices on the RV's?
I am starting to now
MAtter of facþi love may sisteŕs
What did the company say about the lack of holes for the tables. Will they pay for the cost of repairs
Hi, new to the channel I did 👍🏼 up and subscribed, the vid is 2 months ago, but was there storage under the bed? And can it be customized a bit? Like adding a slider to the shower, l. I don't like when curtains attack... 😅
Thanks for subscribing! Scroll to 4:30 in the video, this is the storage under the bed, accessed from the rear. You could probably find a company after market to upgrade the shower door, but I know Thor doesn't option that from factory
Sliding door for shower
I agree that would be a great improvement
It rattled in the road ..😢😢poorly done..
all good except missing table
Great video..but you should at least..tell us the MSRP..thank you
I am working on this for future videos thank you for watching
Looks good, but missing ladder to the overhead bunk.
It's a folding ladder, stored in rear closet
Looks great inside and out, but I noticed that it looks like the driver and everyone else on board only has the center door to get in and out. I think it's kind of dangerous in case of an accident.
The video was fantastic as always Gabby. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍
Absolutely! Thanks for watching
There are usually escape windows. Probably the bedroom windows are exit windows
@@kenmcclow8963 yeah, but don't you think those front windows should be able to come down? I do, maybe they do. Gabby didn't show if they did, or mentioned that framework.
@@MrRaymond1021 The front windows do not roll down
If the posts for tables are missing… what else was forgotten? Is there a ladder for the bed? Nice little coach though . What is the price?
$119,995!
RV's with no slideout @ least a real V6 engine & transmission no turbo or hybrid add-ons
This one has been difficult to find. Are you located near Orlando?
You missed the microwave and dining table makes a decent bed for kids. Also huge drawer under one of table bench that holds a lot. I use for my dishes and coffee maker.
Thanks for the tips!
Insignia tv 📺 😂 they still exist
🤣🤣
Is there an option that has the dinette instead of the recliners?
At this time there is not, I don’t think one would fit with slide closed? but there is a fairly large table you can insert in front of those seats!
Good size class A. Does anyone make that size Class A but with flat style windshield. A big rock chip would be an expensive windshield replacement vs traditional design. MSRP?
What’s the price on this unit?
Cost??
Hello from Puerto Rico Gabby
Hi Ramon!!
Not a fan of the cheap front windshield "shade." They couldn't put in some type of shade that follows the track of the windshield itself that went up/down with a flip of a switch? Thor "quality" leaves much to be desired
You did not show the ladder for the over head bunk.
It's a fold away ladder stored in the closet
This is EXACTLY like the 2024 Thor Vegas 26.1. Why would they have two identical models with different names? The only difference is the Vegas doesn't have the silly stripe outside.
Same with other Thor rigs, e.g. Scope/Rize.
The Vegas front end has a more contemporary design with vertical headlamps.
This Axis has, of course, the more traditional horizontal styling.
You said “wireless” charger a couple of times. I am assuming you meant USB ports, right?
They do have a place where you just put your phone on top of it and it charges it wirelessly but then if you push on the button it lifts up and there’s ports as well
@@RVswithGabby Nice!
Cargo Carrying Capacity please?
Ours is on the E450 chassis (14,500 lbs) with a CCC of approx. 1145 lbs; the E350 is 13,500 lbs, so its CCC is less.
It’s a Ford Chassis or Chevrolet? Or other ?
Ford!
Should come with a induction cook top,not gas top stove, your paying top dollar no gas stove, this is why we have solar power boxes or inverter.
Annette, most customers I meet actually didn't like the induction cook top for a while there. You can always purchase a portable one, cover the stove, and use the induction on top of it
Who would make an RV without a door for the bathroom that shower curtain just doesn’t cut it.
The door to the bathroom swings open and a magnet holds it across the hallway for privacy
How much is it .
Watched the whole video abd ya didnt tell the price!!!
188k plus taxes..will be over 200k..😂😂😂unless your millionaire..way too pricey..💰💰💰💰
"You can fit 2 Gabbies in here..." The US will find any method to not use the metric system. (I'm a US citizen. I'm still baffled by the metric system. I understand "2 Gabbies" just fine 🤣)
Small tires are not a plus.
For those who are uncomfortable driving a full size Class A, it makes the RV feel more manageable.
"Hot water heater" ????
If its hot why we need a heater? Lol
Should say " water heater".
All the people that have Thor campers aid they are a nightmare to own the have water leaking problems
Every brand will have issues and bad reviews online if you look for them. I would also venture to say some people aren't maintaining the roof of their camper correctly, so no matter what you buy, if you aren't checking your seals etc you will have leaks!
Gas motor no thanks I would pick something with a diesel
I'd say the van conversion companies build better quality, less cookie cutter products.
True, but this particular model I don't think is in the same category as the van conversions. This is more Class C/A than Class B van
Kein Tisch???
Don't like bunk bed.
It cost to much if they don't tell the price
MSRP $188.259
@joyceevans7734 -- What? Now that's a joke. Damn thing is only worth about half that much at best.
@@jamesbass9797 you’re absolutely right.
towel hanging weird
Sorry but if you have to check the once or twice a year that’s a manufacturing problem.
Inaccurate information. Please don't be walking around telling people they don't need to check their roof seals. That's ridiculous.
Do you not change your oil every six months or check your air filters? It's called maintenance.
@@RVswithGabby just saying if you have to check the seals all the time maybe it’s a inferior product. Accurate description
@@alteredstazeakahullabelew2495
Sorry, but maintenance is maintenance. It goes with the territory of owning ANY vehicle. Besides, you may never get a leak, even without wasting your precious time to do so. But if a leak did develop, blame yourself and not the manufacturer.
wasted space under recliners. must have been a guy that designed inside . micro too low for anyone with back problems.
I think the issue is micro up high could risk spilling something hot all over if you are shorter? But fair points yes. Thank you for watching!
I was disappointed by the sh*t quality
The concept is great now a quality builder needs to make one
…the dollar store garbage can surely seals the deal ! lol.
HAHA
Its beautiful except that you're looking at the shower from the living area
Fair point!
This IS NOT a Class A ... it's built on an E series chassis, not the F53 or P60 chassis used for heavier vehicles. The shape or design of a vehicle does not determine its class.
Bradley, do you work in or sell RVs?
@@RVswithGabby neither, I just own one.
I thought it's a Class A body on a Class C chassis. A Class C, you would have to step down to get into the passenger or driver's seat. Not on the Axis. I'll call it a Class A, just for that aspect, alone. To each his own, right?
Not Impressed! Very small inside slides. Very small areas, such as the shower, no connection to the bathroom, chairs, not decent,
My 3 year old Cougar 24 RDS. Is a really nice RV, and has better items! (My opinion)than the Thor that is listed here. ! Would not purchase this Thor! Caveat Emptor/ Buyer Beware!
Don’t love the bed over the cab
Would be nice if they optioned a delete but I think it's standard
Why the hesitation on the bed over the cab?
Long time RV’r here and this is this most ridiculous rig I have ever seen. Not one thing outside or inside that would make me want to even consider buying it.🤦🏻♀️
use the word 'nice' a little too often
U are not a very positive sakes person. Quite a bit of negativity and lack of knowledge.
With that being noted, the unit is awesome.
You absolutely do not know me
Probably a good thing for both of us.
Your post was 2/3's negative... Maybe 3/4 negative.
