Thanks for the walk through/around. My wife and I are considering this unit as our first RV and it’s great seeing the ideas you have to address storage. My only heartburn with these so far is the queen bed.
Great! We would love to hear what you wound up purchasing and how you are enjoying it. We have always had a king bed at home and in our RV until now. The queen bed has been totally fine as long as you get a good mattress.
This video is very helpful! I love all the storage and organization ideas, but my favorite is that you replaced the table! So much more space...especially if traveling with pets. What table and chairs did you buy from IKEA?
Awesome! Thank you! Below is a link to the table we purchased from IKEA. I couldn't find the exact chairs. www.ikea.com/us/en/p/sandsberg-table-black-s29420393/
Thank you so much! We have been surprised at how much storage room there is in the rig. We downsized from our previous rig which was a fifth wheel but didn't sacrifice much of anything, especially since we "regained" the bed of our truck for additional storage. Thanks for watching!
My hubby and I are looking to buy this 2670MK model, and upsize from our Class C 26 footer and was wondering what the weight is for your RV with your belongings in it now vs stock weight with nothing inside? We plan to purchase a new truck to tow. Love your video and is the best we have seen showcasing the beauty of Grand Design. 🙂
The dry weight is about 6,800 pounds. I haven't taken this trailer across a CAT scale yet, but need to. My guess is that we travel with around 1,000 pounds of food, clothes, gear, and cargo. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment!
A First seeing your channel; I saw this Grand Design TT at the Palm Beach, FLA RV show a week ago. And it’s fantastic the video doesn’t do it justice. We are looking to place a rig on a lot. But our go to TT will is our “2022” GD XLS 22mle “Imagine” if we’re up to me I’d go a little smaller Winnego Micro Minnie 2108TB(Twin Bed) model. But I have the Happy Wife Syndrome lol .. I’m hoping that GD brings out a Twin Bed set up in the XLS line-up. Anyway great vid 🏁 Oh my wife is agreeing with your wife in regards to the bathroom mirror and our 12V compressor fridge which not our 3rd TT with a 12V fridge. Greetings from Miami.
I am contemplating a 2670mk. Thank you for the nice walk through in how you actually use your trailer. I love all of the little organizing tricks. Do you have any overall negatives about the Grand Design?
That is a great question. We truly enjoy our rig and haven't had any issues so far. I don't have any negatives to report, and I would certainly share if there was something. It is a great rig!
We ordered them on Amazon. The product name is "mDesign Plastic Kitchen Organizer - Storage Holder Bin with Handles for Pantry, Cupboard, Cabinet, Fridge/Freezer, Shelves, and Counter - Holds Canned Food, Snacks - Ligne Collection - 2 Pack - Clear". Here is the product link: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XXPHJHN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Ok well!! First, thank you! This review was extremely helpful, informative, and offered up many new ideas. Quick question…does it come with the auto on/off lights in the cabinets or did you add them? Again, thanks.
We added the auto lights in the cabinets. They were just a cheap purchase on Amazon and clip into place. Here is the link to what we purchased: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0868H6M78/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
We love our travel trailer as well. We weren't sure if we would miss our fifth wheel, but the new rig "checks all of the boxes" for us. Here is a link to our dish drainer: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002R5A178/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It is a 2023 Grand Design 2670MK. I'm not sure about the roof space for solar since that is out of our area of expertise. I do know that there is a lot of "open" available roof space. Good luck!
Great review of the trailer. After looking at several, this is the unit that I want to get.

Nice rig and video! I like the way you have things organized.
👍 We have really enjoyed the rig and found that there is plenty of storage. Our favorite thing is the amount of floor space for our dogs.
Looks like a great match for your use. Pups look happy too!
We love it so far! Can't wait for the warmer weather to return so that we can get back out there!

Thank you so much for the kind words. I agree that the area down near Palm Beach is so beautiful. We appreciate you leaving us a comment!

We enjoyed your video. We have an Imagine 2970RL. Where did you get the clear bins in the medicine cabinet? What are the dimensions? Thanks!

Where did you find the trash cans used in the DEEP slots in the bathroom?? We have the same model.
Those skinny black trash cans came from Amazon. Here is the link:

Thoughts on other mattress types? Costco always has good prices on tempurpedic?
Our last two mattresses are from rvmattress.com and we have been super happy! rvmattress.com/
Love your new travel trailer! Where did you get the sink dish drainer? I am looking at a new to us camper with a sink just like that.

thanks for the video, what year is this unit
It is a 2023 Grand Design 2670MK. We are super happy with it! Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment.
What are you towing this with? Great video!
We are pulling the rig with a 2019 Ford F350 diesel single rear wheel truck and love it!
What year is this travel trailer? And in your opinion, is there room up top to put in 2000W of solar and still have walkable space?
It is a 2023 Grand Design 2670MK. I'm not sure about the roof space for solar since that is out of our area of expertise. I do know that there is a lot of "open" available roof space. Good luck!
Could you tell us what truck you own? Thank you

What is the app to control the awnings?
It is called Lippert OneControl. We don't use it much, but when we do have a need it is super handy!
