I had a speculation that this helmet is marketed like its a gold standard helmet I felt something fishy . Well guess what . Now turned out it was a scam officially . Thank You Yasir sir for bringing this upfront
I was going to buy this helmet... But had my suspicion so tried it in one of the stores, as soon as I saw it I realised it's a marketing scam. I'm glad you are exposing them, for 10k it's too much,
I always had a doubt about this company and its product. Thank you for clearing the doubt. Also if possible can you review their other products as well. I know it's expensive too but if possible please do it for all of us.
They've neither received it for older or new models. They just don't wanna pay to the agency, so they got it done from third party which means nothing,, their priority for spending funds is marketing not product quality. It feels the same as steel bird helmets,
This model is currently not on sale, so is it logical to review a discontinued model? On parts of pre owned gear, I would suggest everyone to not buy pre used gears? Maybe you should've bought the new models and commented on those
@@MotoZoomer I'm not disagreeing to any of the points you've raised. But I will not purchase knowingly that was manufactured in 2022 in 2024 whether used or no.....and would recommend others also on it..... But if I'm watching at your review on this helmet, I would also want to know what is the current scenario on it and also I hope people buying new gear is much more than the pre owned ones.... Maybe not up front as it would defeat the purpose of this video but on a further day when they get their ratings and everything and address of what they did and they improvised on it?
They're still not ece certified. The problem is brand very silently discontinued a flawed and wrongly marketed product without any public announcement or a recall. Later distributing the same rejects are freebies in the community. That's a classic definition of a scam. Nobody's gonna know if nobody points out. As a biker I have a responsibility to ask the brand why the needful was never done? Brand has a responsibility to own up to the mistake and do the correctional procedures rather than putting up their new product lineup as an excuse for a deliberate mistake. Especially if the product is directly related to people's lives. Brand's life is not at stake but the customer's life is. Being a biker and having lost the loved ones, I am ready to ask questions.
Also, I second you on not buying the pre-owned gear, I am very vocal about it but this helmet was bought from a person I personally know. I know the helmet was stored regularly.
@@MotoZoomer I absolutely agree and support you raising questions because I have been following this brand and do use their balaklava and socks but never looked in detail into their helmets before you made this video. My only suggestion was for maybe you to revisit this helmet if and when they get their certifications sorted because we would support Indian businesses trying things in the correct manner in the future
Not necessarily. I understand there are foreign helmet manufacturers that supply cheek pad replacements at the very least. Some helmet manufacturers here should start giving cheek pad replacements considering their pricing is yet not upto the mark for quality at 5-7k. Complete ripoff. The foam padding collapses pretty early in the lifespan. I thought Tiivra would be different going by what they claimed they stood for. Guess that I'm too gullible but didn't succumb as yet. There are Helmets in the market with printed stickers of ECE, how do we know if that's not true? Even if it's printed on the helmet, what is to say that's not a lie. As we already know, lots of scams happen in India.
@@Claystone333 maybe some brands give but in my 7 year riding journey I haven't seen any and for the stickers part, testing agencies could put up a page for the companies that have passed the testing in a buletin format
MT and LS2 laughing in the corner at this price point.. Don't make emotionally motivated purchase just by seeing "Made in India" product ,, some are actually good no doubt ,, but some companies just use is as a promotional element. At the end of the day , it's your hard earned money and safety.
sharp ratings are useless. make sure that the helmet you buy has ece 22.06 specifically, that's currently one of the safest ratings. see fortnine's video for more details.
They very well tell that it surpasses ECE but is not certified yet and the cartoon box you received was wrongly sent No branded helmet says anything such as optically correct and stuff And you are the same reviewer who said raida discover boots are waterproof where in they are water resistant and not at all waterproof in any way In this video you said @4:22 the brand says it's a composite fiber shell - you wanted to check on that too and you didn't 🤷🏻♂️ just talked about the eps 🫡 afterwards No personal grudges Since you review gears, please do proper background search and then review things!!
The helmet boxes they sent out was not a mistake, I'd have completely agreed with the brand on the mistake part of the boxes were just printed with wrong info once.. Putting a false sticker on top of a false sticker? That's not a mistake, it's an act of malpractice. Regularly I wear a Scorpion Exo 1400 air carbon. If you ever get your hands on one, look at the sides of that helmet, it specified that it is a class 1 optically correct visor. Additionally, the sun visor inside also carries the same marking of being a Class 1 optically correct visor. I completely understand your POV on this as most of the Indian brands do not provide optically correct visors and you may not have seen one yet. You did see the raida discover review, As I mentioned in that video too st the time of our tests , water didn't seep in but what you didn't see is a follow up on the same boots where we made clear that the waterproofing failed . I humbly request you to scroll down and look for one. For the shell part, go through the video till the end and listen carefully, I said I have my doubts and we'll confirm it later when we put it through the lab. I agree with everything the brand says but they never reply to my queries in direct manner and keep pushing their marketing agenda. 1- The brand said the helmet I have a factory reject. the question is, how come a factory reject is packed in a retail box with all the accessories MRP. 2 - It is carrying a false weight sticker on the back, they sticker said it is 1300max , the helmet is actually 1400gms , there no reply from the brand. 3- They claim factory rejects were give away to the community. IMO It is a heinous crime to give out rejects to a 100peoplem helmet is the most important safety gear. anything marked as rejected, no matter how big or small the fault it carries should be immediately destroyed as your life depends on it. 4- As pre-owned gear market exists, I bought one from the same market. Now how can I identify if this lid is one from the 38 good ones that they claim to sell or from the 100 rejected ones? Why the products were silently discontinued without public notice and apology for putting false certifications and specification on the products? Why there's no recall despite knowing there's a 100gms weight mismatch? I am all in for the brands to improve their products, but false marketing and later not accepting that they made a mistake while complety ignoring the facts as basic as the weight of the helmet? Don't you think it's something fishy? I have the visor though, DM us on IG, I'll share a picture ;)

If it doesn't meet the weight mentioned on the lid, then it cannot get an ECE Certification.
Please tell me about ignyte helmets should I buy one ?
Very Useful Video
What's ur opinion about KYT R2R
please review their gloves as well
I had similar thoughts. ISI only requires self certification, so I was pretty sure this would be a scam
Their graphic department does remarkable jobs but safety is compromised
Graphic ka acchar dalunga jab safety 5000 ke helmet jaisi hai
@@isopegus 5000 ke helmet better hote hai isse, just saying. You get ECE Certified helmets for this price
Well said 🫶 i also thought the same❤
I think they have gotten ECE printed because they are awaiting ECE certification, but sent these out before they even recieved it.

bhai 10K me LS2 FF800 ECE 22.06 helmet aati hai.. tivra looks like a scam!!
Inke gloves bhi review kardo . I asked them a query about their gloves being ce certified but they said their material is ce certified.
CE level 2 certification is what you want to see.
Any fabric or material can easily get a CE rating but that isn't a rating for safety
This whole brand is a scam 💀
Back in 2022 I bought an LS2 FF800 and an acquaintance of mine got this helmet during their launch event. Side by side, tivvra felt like cheap shit.
That's a review.
Another example of a marketing-oriented brand
great content man, and it to expensive compared to other dot certified helmets which comes under 1/3rd of the price
ISI and DOT don't mean shit for safety. I feel everyone must atleast spend 5k for an ECE helmet even if they're getting a rs 1 Lac bike
This is old helmet you are reviewing
All tivra products are overpriced. Idk why the hype
Selling a 2 year old manufactured helmet is also not a good look.
