@@baewoo_express That's a wrong misconception actually. The regular fuel (91 octane below) actually are the ones that combusts really fast. That is why if you have knock on your engine, engineers would recommend using premium fuel to control the combustion knock. FYI, the least octane rating, the faster the fuel would combust. Meaning, premium fuels are actually a lot safer as it is not as easily combustible than regular fuel.
It’s definitely oil burning. NSXs are highly prone to engine oil leaks, especially at the rear bank of the V6 engine, where most of the exhaust is located. Common leak points include the valve cover, cam seal, and most notably, the VTEC solenoid, which is highly pressurized. This pressure often causes oil to leak onto the exhaust manifold, where it heats up, smokes, and eventually burns when the temperature gets extremely high. I've read in forums that even after replacing the gasket, oil leaks can persist, with the actual fix often requiring replacement of all bolts securing the cover and gasket. This NSX lasted only two days in Angie’s hands after a year in the shop, where it received a supercharger and other modifications. This is clearly an issue with the mechanic’s work.
That was a close call Angie! Crazy situation indeed but I fully applaud your full composure and presence of mind in that very crucial instance. And despite of it all, it is still comforting to know you're safe and sound after that ordeal! Losing the NSX is tough, but your well-being is the most important thing. Fuel leak good job you was looking in the rear mirror what ashame after the long build but you can always make one better and sort the fuel lines and pump modernised builds could of been the super charger glad you know how to bail out and get your hand bag out stay safe

I had a 1000hp supercharged c5 corvette burn down on me while I was driving. 2 fire extinguishers couldn't put it out. Methanol leaked onto the header wrap and into the wheel well. Right in front of a fire station. A year later my friend let me borrow his NSX for 6 months or so... that didn't burn down , it was just a lot of fun to drive. I built headers and exhaust for it, sounded great. I still miss that vette.
Ganun talaga pag smuggled and sasakyan, di nagtatagal. Pero ok lang yan sir madami kapa naman pede i smuggled na car dito sa pinas at least safe ka at di nadamay sa pagka sunog ng sasakyan💯👍

I always carry a small fire extinguisher, But my little extinguisher wouldnt have stopped that! Holy cow went up so fast. Glad you got out.
It has something to do with the fuel. Super premium fuels combusts really fast that's why the fire went up that quick
