    This is a beautiful pattern! I think in a pinch it would work as a Salmon Fly. Very well tied! Thank you Davie!

    Nice pattern Davie. This will make a wonderful warm water fly when surface feeding is called for. Here in the southern United States, Ill use a yellow hot spot, of course.
    Thank you

    Morning Davie, hope you are well and enjoying the fine weather. If you get a chance this year would you run us through your setup? Tools and recording? I've seen your videos in the past but it's always nice to see new additions and custom tools or setups that people develop over the years. Take care.

      Morning Derek,
      It's a pattern I've not tyed many of though it would be one to do as I have some caddis to tye for a friend going to Ireland so this would be one that he may like..Just keep me in mind...
      All the very best Davie

    Love this one! You've inspired me to tie a couple up for my forthcoming fishing trip to South Uist! You mention it works well in smaller sizes too. I've tied them on 8s would that be too big?

    • @DavieMcPhail
      @DavieMcPhail  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Allan,
      In a good wind and wave an 8 would be great though I would tye them a bit smaller as well...Have a great trip and let me know how you get on..
      All the very best Davie
