Thank you for honest review! You can definitely see the limitations of this product. It’s a good product but it does remove/hide only slight imperfections, but that’s ok. I appreciate that you did not exaggerate it’s results! It’s enough for my needs because I do not have time in my life to spend hours detailing my cars. It took me 2 hours to wash and apply this product on the entire car. I really like it despite the fact that it does not remove deeper scratches.
Nice glad it worked. I think people tend to forget that it is just a polish. I can't fault it because it said it would take care of swirls. It won't last long but had to give it a try
Great product, used this and the non black acrylic ceramic too for years, can't fault it. Make sure you stick some grapheme ceramic paste wax on after!
In the past I had some old Seat Ibiza that had oxidized paint, and I bought something similar to this, it was a Sonax product, and the paint was red. It improved the look of the paint, but it lasted a few days only. I think those products are good only when selling a vehicle since they won't actually remove swirl marks and scratches, It seems like they're just covering/hiding them. Maybe the one from the video will be better because of the ceramics inside.
Just completed paint correction with Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Acrylic Black Polish & Wax by Turtle per your video on my black edition 2022 Porsche. It came out fantastic! I ended up with a non-metallic BLACK 2021 Hyundai Elantra (Avante perhaps there), which was the last colour on my list .. actually, the only colour NOT on my list as I considered it a showroom colour and dopes or people with staff to clean their car buy them. This model had DARK grey wheels which I just do not "get" .. seem like winter rims to me; but apparently, they are cool; so, at the last moment I thought it would hide the grill a bit and pull those black wheels to look like they belong in my mind. I used this - the first spring; so, the car would by say a year old. I found it WAY nicer that the spray which I used in the fall; so much easier to remove I found and far less streaks. It lasted all spring, summer, fall (and still seems good), whereby water spray only car washes it beads well and, with a damp and dry cloth after, it shined up perfect. I have been very happy with it; although my paper large coffee I was drinking from, came out looking like I must work in a coal mine.
Great video, great explanation. I got exact little scratches under light like this BMW, but my car is white. Is there really any way to got all those scratches by hand with a proper compound like it did by a poslihing machine? Can you please explain? Thank you.
Great! Can I ask you approximately how long does turtle wax ceramic and graphene wax last? Approx? 3 4 months? And how about the flex wax? Can I do 2 layers of flex wax then after 12 hour curing time to apply 2 or 3 layers of turtle paste ceramic and graphene paste and leave it to. Cure for approx 12 to 24 hours? Do you think that it will last for at lest 4 5 months?
So I've used ceramic and graphene products and the one was the graphene infused paste wax. It lasted about 7 month's . I would leave it good 12+ hours so it's tough if not in garage
@@epicautomotivedetailing does it last for. So long? The Infused turtle wax paste? Amazing! So if I want then I can top up ever 2 to 3 months with flex wax! And also after to top up paste wax for. Longer protection! But if it. Last 7 months! Insane! Amazing gloss! Thanks
Hi Dave, I remember the colour magic of old, came with a chip stick. are they going back down this route again? Also you say polish, so is a wax protection needed on top of this.
Essentially it does protect but they have a spray wax for 24 hours later. To be fair the cars condition of the paint was horrific but will test on a better car next week in a one of big cleans
Another great vid Dave ,All ur tips are good for me having only started my mobile valet service in Dec yes Dec i got 4 customers which surprised me lol,any recom, for a polisher for starting off with .Cheers 💯👍
Hi mate I'm buying few cheap ones for a video soon so not done enough research yet to find the very best one as they have come all long way over past years.
I've been a fan of the Auto Glym resin polish topped off with the extra gloss protection for a few years now as the results have been brilliant on my grey Mercedes. Ive recently bough a black BMW though and it's got irritating swirls and scratches I cannot shift so will give this product a bash, see what happens. On a separate note, would you recommend still using the Auto glym gloss over the top of this product? Also, have you any features of how to use a mechanical polisher as I'm aware you can make a real pigs ear of things if used incorrectly. Cheers
@@DameAndThatGame Not bad to be fair, it’s a decent product but needs some considerable effort to polish off I found. The AG extra gloss didn’t have the same effect as on my Merc so maybe there is some symbiosis between AG resin polish and AG extra gloss. Still haven’t plucked up courage to try machine polishing yet though.
@davej5917 OK thanks mate, Iv been using AG, then a cheap dark black wax (like shoe polish).from ebay, topped with fusso coat. But the swirls are still really bad. I'm also looking at PoorBoys Black Hole, ppl say its the best for black cars. Cheers for the reply bud
Dude I ended up buying an AVA evo P80 on the back of your video when you tested it I originally was only going to spend about 250 but my misses chipped in and ended up ordering one from Cleanstore as you recommended thanks for the review its way better thought out and built better than the yellow ones and the blue ones hint hint lol thanks again and I love your vids God bless ya 👏👏👏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😇🙏👌

Would of loved to see you apply a non coloured polish on the other side to see the difference. I played around making my own waxes years ago and i added dyes to them but to be honest, i never found it made much difference no matter how much dye i added. The layer left behind is so thin that the effects of the dye are negligible. The coloured polishes are ok if you are selling a car with stone chips as the residue does not dry white although it does go white after a few weeks when the dye washes away
Hello Dave, wow now that is a difference, alot better than the other side, things have certainly moved on since the old Turtle Wax came out,I remember the old chip stick on the bottle 😂.
Thank you for the video Dave. Pretty decent results for a hand polish but as you rightly say it's not going to give the results that machine polishing with a compound will produce. Would you say it was worth the difference in price compared to your more typical all in one such as SRP?
It's very good and when I peeled the tape off few hours later it did look better in real life. At moment I don't know what durability alone will be like but the car will be about so will keep my eyes on it.
Interesting vid Dave. 👍 Applied by hand and seemingly without too much pressure, it dyed the scratches black and took the eye off as you would expect. Can I have that car for a day please? I am sure you feel the same in terms of the potential for proper improvement - it probably won't be perfect but most of that will go, given enough clear coat of course.👍
Yeah it's a great idea but I don't think it's viable option for businesses so it's one of those products I can only imagine being used by a weekend warrior 👌
