  • As the world's most prolific big wave surfer, Laird Hamilton travels the world in search of the gnarliest waves and the most epic rides. In order to succeed- and to survive the occasional, lung-crushing 70-foot wall of water - he needs razor-sharp focus, untapped energy, and exceptional endurance. He gets all three from the healthy, power-packed ingredients he puts into every Laird Superfood product.

I’m from the Sam era as Laird and from Hawaii (Disregard my channel title) and we saw contests and the commercialization of surfing coming. None of us wanted anything to do with it then. Thing is it was gonna happen and has regardless. I should of cashed in on Boards of all kinds and apparel back then. But Surfing wasn’t about cashing back then. If you are from that era you know what I’m talking about.

I agree! If people were having more fun the world would be a better place. It’s all in how you DEFINE fun. Like Gabby said “how is surfing a 100 foot wave fun while almost dying ?

"Challenger of Human Endurance".....what the hell is this? As if he's an accomplished multi sport athlete who has dominated in something other than surfing..... so aggression is his strength and since he's an artist and superpower, only a big wave is big enough to challenge his best in the world mentality....ugh.

@@fightrrrrr I just knew a vulnerable narcissist speed skier once who acted like a douche, especially when drunk and on his oc's.... and boy could he ski great in a straight line.... it was all ego, zero talent.....I had flashback here for a second straight time watching this video.
