I just have to say, your accent is absolutely amazing! I could listen to you for hours on end and never get bored. Also, love your glorious! Mine is super sad. I don’t know what I am doing wrong that plant! 😢
I recently started following you! I’ve been a plant parent for some six months, but before that, I was just a plant owner. :) I love the energy you bring, the way you talk, and how simple you explain and joyful you are! Thanks!! i will see all the videos!!!
Happy new year Claire and Joli, I’m sorry you were unwell.. again.. so pleased you put a video out though seemed like forever, but self care is very important... hope you have a wonderful 2025 🎉 and to all your subscribers.. PS the Dubia made me giggle 🤭 just hanging their of the rope… swinging… 😂😂😂😂
Everything looks beautiful! You do such a nice job at displaying your plants. I look forward to your videos this year. I have learned alot watching your videos. I find them educational and so relaxing. Thanks
🤫 I'm so sorry to hear you were ill over Christmas! Thank you for this beautiful update video. I watch you when I do planty things - but even more often while I'm making jewelry. I swear my pieces are more elegant for having your voice in the background! 💚
I agree, annoyingly the BOP wasn't getting enough light, and the Dean Mcdowell kept flopping over onto the sofa and hitting Ross in the face (lol) so they had to find new spots
@TheJungleHaven ive been following you for some time taking care of my plants and literally talking to the TV been too nervous to comment. But new year new goals.
Your eye makeup looks fabulous! Always enjoy your content and seeing your plants and how you deal with their issues. No matter the topic, I always enjoy. Really like your "fun" videos where you are enacting a scene!
Im getting rid of my Burle Marx. I can’t stand the growth pattern. My Hoya Publicalix Splash cutting finally has grown enough to put in a hanging pot. I just hung it today. Very exciting! I have 2 Hoya hanging & a silver sword with my English ivy. Love my hanging/trailing plants. Happy New Year Claire & Ross 🎉
YOUR SOOOO PRETTYYYYY UGH like, girl such a bring the girl to your mom look HAHA, Anyways I love your channel and learning from you!!! I go between you and Mr Shefields channels and just adore the both of you!!! Thanks for your content Nevarr stop!! :)
Claire I feel such anxiety when I see how many plants you have.. I can hardly keep up with mine (about 150) and my home is just a bit bigger. I am glad you're feeling better. 🤫
Please remember I do planty things full time so although my collection is big, I have more time than the average person to dedicate to plant care. When I was working a full-time job alongside having plants I only had about 100 and that was my limit
So much fun to watch a tour at the beginning of 2025. Great start indeed! Good for you to have no screens for a while. It helps to appreciate the good things that come from it too. Happy to see you healthy and fine! I cannot stop thinking about the plants on your balcony. Amazing some are surviving in our northern hemisphere weather. Impossible to push some of those scaffolding planks aside? What a stupid idea to place them there by the construction workers. Your love for begonias is addictive. Never really liked them much but now I look at them differently! Saw one at a local store here in Holland. Guess what I’m going to do next. Have a great weekend! See you in next video! Love ❤❤❤ for Jolie
Happy New Year!! I'm a new plant parent, but I really hope one day I can have beautiful plants like yours! 🤫 I can't wait to see what's to come for 2025! 🤫
Claire mayonnaise removes water marks from wooden furniture. You should try it on your floor. Place a layer of mayonnaise that is thick enough for you to see on one of the marks. Leave it 10 minutes and then wipe off.
I had a musa banana plant living outside in full sun all year long in barcelona, it even produced bananas...but it was SO THIRSTY and needed so much fertilizer that it end up collapsing and dying 😅
Vinegar definitely works against mold but as you said; the high humidity in combination with not enough ventilation and possibly old (leaky) window frames is the cause of this mould so treating it is only a temporary solution
I've heard vinegar is good. You're right though, I think the windows are the issue. They were actually due to be replaced before the building works came to a halt
I would try white vinegar to clean the black mould. I struggled with it in my bathroom and only thing that seems to be working is white vinegar. Apparently it’s the only natural chemical they gets absorbed right into the mould and 😵 it
The 3 of us (my boyfriend, 10month old son and me) were (and still are) sick as well 🥹 Hopefully it's the only sick episode this winter 😅 Nevertheless; HAPPY NEW YEAR 🎉🥳 Lots of move from Belgium ❤
OMG, Please can you make a video of you sanding/taking care of your wooden floor? How much work is it? I have the same issue, lots of plants dripping or from my watering the plants and also dealing with cats that sometimes make a nice little mess. Stains all over! 😅 Happy New Year!
Same about being sick over christmas, I accidentally swallowed some bunny ear cactus after biting the hand that was stung by a bunny ears cactus the day before which was annoying. But now that that's no longer irritating my throat, I have a cold that's so bad that I'm perpetually tired. I can barely talk, I'm so sick I just wanna go back to bed, and the worst part is that I'm starting A new apprenticeship in a few days that involved working with food. That wouldn't be so bad in and of itself, but It's also the first opportunity I've gotten in a while. So yeah, that sucks. Hopefully my cold clears up enough for me to actually work- I need the job, I'm running out of money to buy plants with. 😔
Hi Claire, Have you done/ mentioned any information about caladiums in your latest videos? I'm new to watching your videos and would love your take on the plant! I'll keep my eye out for it, though, in previous/ future content! I did see it looks like you have a picture of the plant on instagram, but I could be wrong! Thank you for your informative videos! 🙏🙏❤️❤️
Hello, you and your sidekick have been amazing to watch. I a newby to it all TH-cam and plant life. I am in US in Indiana. My question is what is your current soil mixtures?
Hello!! Soil mixes are slightly different for different plants, but my standard go-to if I'm not sure is a combo of soil, perlite, worm-castings and orchid bark. If I'm dealing with a cacti or succulent I'll mix through plenty of grit and sand too for extra drainage!
The dragons breath is the easiest! Mine gives corns like no tomorrow. I wish I could add a photo. This is one you don’t have to worry about the 2-3 leaf club. So easy. It LOVES SEMI HYDRO in pon . Last year I got 87 corms! It could be genetics. I got mine from Tezula nursery in Florida
Happy New Year Claire and Joli! (and Ross) - Question - Why do you have plants in your cabinet? I am new to your channel and i have a few of the same plants but not in a cabinet so I am just wondering if I should be..... I really do enjoy you channel.
There are loads of benefits to growing plants in a cabinet (besides the fact it just looks gorgeous). I made a breakdown video taking you through all the reasons a while ago: th-cam.com/video/2skTbBtdfeU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=I8cXxe21oFjmXnyI
I hoped semi-hydro will be a God sent solution for my under watering problem and it has been until fall came :😢 roots just stared to rot and I do not know why! The only idea is that I did not adjust pH and temperature- but it happens in many plants, also for those closer to the heating. Any idea @the jungle heaven? Also for sealing the greenhouse try 3M strips, one part is the glue and rest is just plastic seal
Oh,... the silver hero is not looking heroic :-) Thank you for keeping it real :-) I have the same problem with my Boston fern, I keep it above the bathtub... so I look at her from below ... not as exciting :-) And Drymonia is back !!! 🙂 makes me happy. I have mould issues for the first time this year. Honestly, your plant jungle is inspiring. Ps. I actually love how that Dubia is 'hanging' there ;-)
No it's far from heroic right now sadly. The cuttings have perked up though which is good! I'm sorry you've got mould issues too. I'm planning on tackling mine in a big reset video over the weekend so maybe we can fight the mould together haha
Happy new year!!!!!! Since you're planning to start a terrarium and if you're open to a little bit of color, I highly recommend the Begonia Bipinnatifida!! It doesn't get that tall (less than a foot I think), but it grows into a little fern-like bush!! I have one and they are just the most amazing little trooper plants!!!! And I've heard they're great for terrariums because they don't get big and they love humididty and are epiphytic plants that grow in moss!!! Side note: does anyone know the name of the etsy shop where Claire got her begonias? I'm not good with instagram....
46:29 wait… how can they pull down the scaffolding but leave materials behind? Isn’t that’s sort of contradictory? I’d be sooo mad and actually ask for a rent credit for the inconvenience.
How do you keep your dieffenbachia happy. I bought one about 6 months ago, it was nice and lush. Now she has dropped quite a few of leaves. Although she putting out new leaves, its taking a long time for them to unfurl, plus her leaves are curling down 😢
Do you have a problem with fungus gnats? I seem to of gotten a bad bag of soil and now theyre everywhere. Ive tried sticky traps hydrogen peroxide mosquito dunks diatomaceous earth and even carnivorous plants
Maybe try neem oil, the same thing happened to me with a bag of soil. But a few sprays of neem oil on the surface of some new soil for a couple weeks should do the trick. maybe research if this will be the best way for your plants. Good luck! X
omg happy 2025 Claire Yoli and Ross! MISSED YOU over the Christmas period and I am crazily hyped about this video!!!!!

I'm so sorry to hear you were ill over Christmas! Thank you for this beautiful update video. I watch you when I do planty things - but even more often while I'm making jewelry. I swear my pieces are more elegant for having your voice in the background! 💚
That's so lovely! I'd love to see some of your jewellery!
I never noticed the lights on the hanging plant bar and that looks great!! So smart!
Your Strelizia and the McDowell looked so good behind the sofa. Just my opinion. I wish you both a peaceful 2025!
I agree, annoyingly the BOP wasn't getting enough light, and the Dean Mcdowell kept flopping over onto the sofa and hitting Ross in the face (lol) so they had to find new spots
Happy New Year Claire! Such a soothing video 🥰🤫
Watching your house full of green is just so therapeutic for me ❤🎉

I've made a note of this and will make sure to cover it!
Can’t wait🤫🤫
Your room is amazing how long does it take you to water your plants 😊
Ooooh from start to finish a good few hours. I usually break it up though!
Same about being sick over christmas, I accidentally swallowed some bunny ear cactus after biting the hand that was stung by a bunny ears cactus the day before which was annoying.

I would love more information on the welwitschia mirabilis. I also got some seeds, but I haven't started them yet.
Amazing, I will make sure to cover it soon!

Omg 87 corms is actually craaaaazy
My monstera stared to look a little.. Not my favourite so over Christmas I chopped it all up to start over. And already it's so much nicer
Happy New Year Claire and Joli! (and Ross) - Question - Why do you have plants in your cabinet? I am new to your channel and i have a few of the same plants but not in a cabinet so I am just wondering if I should be..... I really do enjoy you channel.

beautiful
You should try to get your monstera to fruit that is going to be one of my goals
Hi Claire, is that a black maranta? It's stunning!!!
Oh,... the silver hero is not looking heroic :-) Thank you for keeping it real :-) I have the same problem with my Boston fern, I keep it above the bathtub... so I look at her from below ... not as exciting :-) And Drymonia is back !!! 🙂 makes me happy. Thank you so much - I will add that one to my list. The Etsy shop I buy from a lot is here:

Nice video! What gimbal did you purchase
I would replace the monstera albo to a more variegated one instead of starting over
The gimbal is a Crane M3
46:29 wait… how can they pull down the scaffolding but leave materials behind? Isn’t that’s sort of contradictory? I’d be sooo mad and actually ask for a rent credit for the inconvenience.
How do you keep your dieffenbachia happy. I bought one about 6 months ago, it was nice and lush. Now she has dropped quite a few of leaves. Although she putting out new leaves, its taking a long time for them to unfurl, plus her leaves are curling down 😢
I made a Dieffenbachia vid a while back:
th-cam.com/video/wKzRNJGbWys/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WNuJa3TGciiMHNei
Do you have a problem with fungus gnats? I seem to of gotten a bad bag of soil and now theyre everywhere. Ive tried sticky traps hydrogen peroxide mosquito dunks diatomaceous earth and even carnivorous plants
I get beneficial nematodes.
Maybe try neem oil, the same thing happened to me with a bag of soil. But a few sprays of neem oil on the surface of some new soil for a couple weeks should do the trick. maybe research if this will be the best way for your plants. Good luck! X
Nothing works, I have the same problem, even I transferred 90% of my plants to leca
Nematodes always works and is really easy to use
I agree with the people saying Nematodes. I buy scarid fly nematodes from Ladybird plant care and they do the job better than anything else I've tried
Happy new year! 💚 Interested to hear what gimbal you got?
It's a Crane M3!
@ thank you 💚
🤫 Happy 2025
Mams the word 🤫🤫🤫
