Me and my daughter both say "Hi, my name's Claire, and this is Joli... Wink wink 😉" every time. You and Emma are my favourite TH-cam planty queen's and there should definitely be more collabs ❤
Yay! I love seeing you two together. It's like a mix between being surprised to find out 2 of your fav TV shows are having a "cross over episode"; and getting an invite to a "girls' hang" date. I love the 'best buds just doing what they wanna' feel of your shared videos. 🙂😊🌱♥️
16:40 at some point i forgot emma was behind the euphorbia and it looked like claire was just discussing the plant's living arrangements with the plant itself lol
It's so nice to see two good friends, having a great time, laughing and playing with Plants. That Yucca sure has a lot of roots, WOW. Doing things together, that you both love doing, is actually a lot of fun to watch. Good Job with those two huge cactus!!!!!! Needed the power of two women, having a laugh.
You two are HYSTERICAL! 😂 Also, I was really hoping to see the two of you go flying in opposite directions when trying to get that Yucca out of the pot! Sorry, not sorry 😂❤
25:34 Im glad yall went with the variegated euphorbia in the living room! It’s smaller, fits in that space better and you still get your pop of cacti back in the living room. I think the other euphorbia was just too big for that space! ❤ 31:20 yucca are so resilient. For months mine was an unspotted, soilless rootball living in a 5 gallon bucket that got full of water every time it rained. One day I literally took it as is, gave them a a root prune and threw it in a pot with some fresh soil. Never fought, never struggled and looks beautiful to this day.
Nice to have a friend help with a yucky repot! I agree with the sentiment about variegated anthuriums. They look sick. I’ve never heard American Emma sound so British 😂
I had a yucca for years that I started from seed. I planted it outside and where I live it gets below zero °F. They are very cold tolerant and resilient. I ended up digging it out a few years ago and I still get new plants coming up from random bits of root that were left in the ground. It does look nice as a house plant, so I think I might regrow one. Your Euphorbias are magnificent! 😍 I can't wait till mine are that big ❤️
Came across your channel when someone gave me a Maranta I had no idea what to do with it. Previously had African Violets and that’s about! I was so inspired, I went back and have watched ALL your videos in order, and am finally caught up! Needless to say, I have added a bunch of new plants to my home…
So I've decided I definitely do need a yucca again. I was up and down about it two years ago but now it's a need. I wish I had thought of that onion mesh last year!! I ran out of screen door screen and ended up getting a big roll of landscape fabric instead but never thought of using onion bag mesh, which I have often, or maybe even orange bags...that might be bigger holes though.
HACK FOR MOVING LARGE/HEAVY PLANTS: Slip a large bath towel beneath the bottom of the pot. From there, you can pull the towel to slide the plant across the floor without having to carry it!
Pink roots on yucca are root rot sign apparantly and then the freezing so once you have it all planted up I suggest keeping an eye on it for growth and smell and maybe in about 4 to 6 months just unpack it from the soil and do a root check to see where it's at. I just discovered the fan palm I was trying to save had zero roots alive and were bone dry like twigs, every last one, all roots. I adopted it to save, it had been in good barkey, chunky soil but new growth was dying as was leaves. Months outside in summer saw it doing nothing. I took it out of pot to find zero soil was on bottom for roots to grow into. When I fixed it all up putting in good pot, perfect soil mix it had massive healthy roots and it should have excelled. That's not what happened. It's a goner instead :/
I've been seeing pothos everywhere now. I've even gotten some pothos now and want to try things with them. And I think that's what's gonna be the main part about pothos being the next best thing, experimenting with them. People would want to try some new things, like moss poles, and will try with pothos. And of course there are so many varieties so it could be fun to collect.
So much fun! But yeah, fresh soil smells amazing, whereas rot can be the nastiest thing ever! I love how everything turned out with the variegated cacti in the living room... I can't be the only one wondering what your timeline is looking like for more space! 💚
i love cacti looking through a macro lens :P cacti look boring until you truly start to pay attention to how they slowly grow the new growth super interesting seeing the macro textures i love my cacti and succulents
As per ur conversation kind of, my goals are germinating and growing windmill palms. I lost one and the Chinese fan palm I took in to save. I had those before and they did well. So I have seeds for another windmill fortunii and washingtonia to try. I am in smaller apt than you, much smaller lol. Winter and snow. You hooked me on begonias, hoya and I have a palm thing...as per always. More success this time but struggling with a few things right now.
In some soils, especially in the past with my hanging herb garden and macho fern growing in a closed in plastic pot the roots were super healthy and that white was in the soil. It was stated it meant the soil was super healthy. My macho fern was super healthy and the roots were gorgeous. Mealy from papyrus nearby in pond got it and removing it from sealed pot actually almost killed it. I have now divided it and the roots had basically deteriorated since removing it from no drain plastic. Weird but true. Now have two hoping for full recovery. Macho fern is my favorite plant ...maybe not when I get pallidiforum though lol
My yucca's gonna need a repot. It's been with me for about 10 or 11 years so it's about Claire's size and I've only repotted it once years ago. It seems quite happy, it flowered for the first time last year but I'm afraid to look at the roots. 🤫🚚🍃👇
Your Yucca would be happier outside Just make sure the pot has good drainage Its tough and can stand all kinds of weather and abuse We have them all over (outside) and they are huge I can not imagine having one in the house!! The white bits are a type of fungus I have seen it in cactus that do not have good drainage or are kept in plastic pots I do not like verigated plants Most just go back to their original color I think people will be burned out on "rare" plants that are too costly This was a fun video!!
I repot year round and never had an issue. Houseplants are called houseplants because they are in relatively controlled temps year round so makes no difference.
I heard from a guest on ONLYPLANTS, out of Indonesia 🇮🇩, that the variations ie albos, are a type of infection, and will inevitably pan out. I don’t know 🤷🏾♀️ Canada 🇨🇦
I'm influenced by planty TH-cam. As much as I love your huge plants, my space is way to small. I'm buying hoyas, and trailing plants. I have more wall space than floor.
Loved this video!😊😊😊 FYI the spikes on cacti are its “leaves”, they are nature’s adaptation to provide protection from predators and also to reduce the loss of moisture from otherwise “normal” leaves. 🌵🏜️🌵🏜️
You two and Yoli are so fun together. Emma is slowly picking up Joe and Claire's accent. 😊❤❤😊
Me and my daughter both say "Hi, my name's Claire, and this is Joli... Wink wink 😉" every time. You and Emma are my favourite TH-cam planty queen's and there should definitely be more collabs ❤
I love how Claire’s hair getting bigger with every video 😂 really happy and healthy

I was cringing in advance of said imagined falling 😂
Claire: "you stroke them " haha stop patting cactus 🌵

You guys should definitely do a collab with wildfern in the future!! It would be so cool to see all my favorite planty youtubers together :)
I can't unsee it- the brush sitting in the dustpan looked like a cigarette in an ashtray- took ages for my brain to stop 😂
YES!!!! The amount of times that's all I could see haha
Thats what i came to say lol
Same! 😂😂😂
Nice to have a friend help with a yucky repot! I agree with the sentiment about variegated anthuriums. They look sick.
I’ve never heard American Emma sound so British 😂
I love how the Euphorbia looks in the terracotta, the colours compliment each other so well! 🥰🌱
YAY! Love you guys together 🤍
Holy big plant repots Batman. Always a fun time when Emma is over. 😂❤
I love when Emma says I was being nice. You look like you have fun together!
Omg more videos like this!! Love the two of you togheter ❤
Plant caddies are such a back saver. I keep one under all my heaviest plants full time. Makes it so easy to clean the floors around them.
"What have you just eaten Joli?" It looked like she took a small bite of Emma's head 😂
Love this, like hanging out with friends!
Love your repotting video… very cool and comforting. ❤ 🇨🇦
OMG Claire and Emma are back!!!
Emma is me with the intro 😂
Same😂 and the wink 😉😉
I used to do the same, now I just skip over it.

The best video!!!! Loved watching this xxx
The roots on that Yucca look like Medusa’s head. 😂
I can't even see Emma behind that plant, LOL 😂
Sybotanica also have an index v v handy.
That was such a fun video. That was so serious repotting. I can just imagine the next time you size up the pots😅
The plants look stunning 💚💚🪴🌱🌿
That cactus is huge. I thought it was hard to repot my big sensation peace lily till I saw this 😅
HACK FOR MOVING LARGE/HEAVY PLANTS: Slip a large bath towel beneath the bottom of the pot. From there, you can pull the towel to slide the plant across the floor without having to carry it!
Yeah for the repotting of all your big plants. It seems like longer than ten months since you did a video together. 😀🇨🇦
Emma, we do have long barrel lighters for candles. 😂
Best video to date! Would love to see more videos with you guys doing stuff together! ❤❤ much love to you both from Australia 🇦🇺

very pleasant time!
So enjoyed this video girls ❤
I get so itchy watching you untangle the roots of the yucca😆 🤫🚚🆕🍃👇

Oh Joli trying to get around the big plant to follow Mommy in the other room❤❤❤
This is such a good watch 😊
Cinema experience... Silence of the Lambs 😱😂😂😂
My favorite plant in my collection is a Stick Yucca that I accidentally broke the top off last year. It grew back with a really nice shape
Could it be springtails in the yucca? They like damp places and they eat fungus. They also won’t hurt your plant at all 🤞
You too are too funny together xx
❤❤❤❤❤yay your back
You two are a blast😂 Have you thought about measuring the height of both the Euphorbia Acruensis and the Ammark?
Poor Joli! She’s wondering what in the world is going on. She’s so precious!
Looking at the brush on the floor, i thought it was a giant filter ciggerette haha, mind you my eyes Are tired right now.
It all I see now haha🚬
Time for the monstera!😂
The yucca would now a days be considered a hardy plant ,especially along the south coast off England in free draining soil.
They are tough plant's
I would live to get a frydek!!❤
So exciting!! 🤫🚚🆕️🍃👇
Yes, it's fungus. Same "bug"-like things are inside orchid potting soil mixes (cold climate+moisture).

Hi Clare, how did you find out the ID of your variegated euphorbia? I’ve never heard of a euphorbia ammak before!
Great video, i want more. Hahha ❤❤❤
You two are adorable! I just started a TH-cam channel and I hope I am able to make one planty friend along the way as you two have!
That was fun
Emma and Clair together more please!!!

21:48 “thats the weight of a person” Ah, yes finally a weight i can understand 🇺🇸 lol
Hiiiiii team! 🎉
These are not root Millie’s on the yucca. I believe that are as you said some fungus
Do you guys live close to each other? Like a couple of hours or further?
Love it
U girls r so cute together 😂
Repots in January???
If your plants are growing, I repot year round!!!
U can repot all year. It's just best in the spring for extra growth
I repot year round and never had an issue. Houseplants are called houseplants because they are in relatively controlled temps year round so makes no difference.
@Heartleafkayla Amen!!!
@@Heartleafkayla I also never had an issue until I had an issue 😂

They were both super close on the weight if they were talking pounds. 17kg=37.5lbs
I'm influenced by planty TH-cam. As much as I love your huge plants, my space is way to small. I'm buying hoyas, and trailing plants. I have more wall space than floor.
jeez that Yucca ... I think some ladies got bad memory giving birth. 😮
cute couple
🤫🛻new🍃👇 I can't find the third emoji, sorry. 😅

I don’t like verigated plants at all.
i love women
