Look at how much strength he'd recovered in those back legs - instead of dragging behind him, they're now partly supporting him and even helping him launch from branch to branch. This new way of using them on the ground is probably why the new wounds on his right foot developed. Thanks JW for this extensive footage of the little guy, it feels good to know that I, and a few thousand other people are united in our admiration for this little scrap of monkey. We're a special club. I wonder if at any point in the remaining part of my life I'll ever meet someone else who knew Stormy?
I know what you mean about meeting someone else who also knew of Stormy. Ever since I became aware of his passing, I haven’t had anyone in my world who knew and understood how deeply losing him truly hurt. I can’t imagine what JW must be going through if it affects me like this, never having even seen Stormy in person. It is a comfort, however, knowing there are others out there whose lives and hearts our sweet Stormy touched.

Stormy is one tough little monkey. I’ve not once seen him cry for no reason. He’s an inspiration for sure. I pray he gets what he wants in the end. His life is not fair, but he keeps on trucking. And yes he can haul butt in those trees now. Thanks JW, still waiting for your commentary. Haha, awesome footage bud. Great quality video also.

Stormy showed us what courage is all about. Those constant wounds on his feet were quite worrisome. Whatever he succumbed to was probably a blessing in disguise unfortunately. If he grew to adulthood he would've been heavier causing more damage to himself and then what happens when it's time to leave the troop? I can’t help but wonder if Stella had carried Stormy more until he was a little older and stronger if maybe he wouldn’t have gotten so many wounds.🤔 I don’t fault her mothering, she did what she knew, but it’s sad nonetheless. I’m not a shy person and if I had been there with that guy teasing and shouting at the monkeys I would have told him off.😡 Grrrrrr. What is it with some people that makes them do things like that?
It seems to me that these monkeys are so much kinder and affectionate to their babies and to each other even than the ones that I see on the channels from the temples or Cambodia. Those poor babies are so badly tortured and abused by their Moms and the others in the troop. And the Moms rarely defend them, even as they are being dragged and smashed violently across the rocks. I can hardly bear to watch when that is happening. And the babies are bitten and not allowed to nurse, even extremely young babies, a week old, are not allowed to nurse. Is there a reason why they are like that? They are malicious, violent, neglectful and heartless to their babies.
Does anyone know why he passed away??? I’ve asked a few times now and haven’t gotten an answer, I really am curious because he seemed to be doing well.. if anyone knows please let me know
Why does she know that the little invalid died she saw him dead or is it because the mother appeared one day alone without the maybe someone took him to the poor baby
I've never seen such a self-sufficient little paraplegic in my life. He was always able to do just about anything his contemporaries were doing. I may have missed an episode, or two, so I don't know if his manner of death was ever discussed. We're there any clues as to what actually happened to him? Did you see his mother carrying his body?
