Yes! I love watching fragrance testing videos more than ‘hauls’ tbh. It’s really interesting knowing what you think of fragrances that you don’t necessarily have to buy a full bottle of. So I really hope you make more of these!!!
I got into collecting fragrances because of Lush! Yog Nog was a subscription box exclusive. One of the biggest issues with Lush in general is the limited releases of all of their products, including their more interesting perfumes. Which means that they might not release a full sized bottle any time soon. There was a full size release a couple of years back for the holiday season, but it hasn't been officially released outside of the subscription box since. It's a shame, because Yog Nog is probably one of their best scents!
They do have a yog nog soap rn! It’s cool it kinda feels like a marshmallow. Usually yog nog comes back every year. Last year there was a ton of yog nog products but not so much this year. try smelling turmeric latte perfume, and let the good times roll body spray!
I found it so helpful when you paired a scent with a vibe or place. I am not very diverse when it comes to scents, but when you put the imagery with it-I can smell it ala Helen Keller. Keep up the great work!
I totally agree. I'm not a total Helen Keller, but I am blind and need people to paint a picture for me with their words. Lauren does this so well, and instead of painting a picture with her words, she does this by describing a scent. I wish Lauren understood how EXCELLENT she is at doing this!!!

The Lush boxes have exclusive products that you cannot get on Lush's website. By my understanding, there are suggestions/product ideas that people vote on to be the products of the month. Things they have never released before. Other than creating FOMO and profiting off of it, I can't imagine that they aren't using these boxes as a way to test product ideas and create demand for a product before reintroducing it to the general public. So maybe there's a chance if you all beg hard enough lol.
They already know how much people love yog nog. The bring back yog nog products every year around Christmas with the perfume bei BFF released at least twice and the body spray another time
Based on my background in agriculture my take on pronouncing Deliciae is influenced by Latin plant names and I'm guessing it's "dell-EE-see-ay"! The nightshade (tomato/potato/peppers) family, for example, is Solanaceae (soul-en-AY-she-ay). A lot of plant and animal families have "ae" Latin endings and it's an "ay" sound.
I love Vanilla Royale Sugared Patchouli 64. It’s a whole lot…like the marketing says “seductively bold, opulent, exotic”. It’s a BLAST of spices patchouli rum and oud. A little stank on it, animalic, BOLD. But the brown sugar really comes out to play once it’s on your skin. The dry down is verrrry similar to Vanilla 28. But this lasts a lot longer. Not sure it’s a safe blind buy tho. That being said, I’m not historically into patchouli or oud, but this is richhh. 🤤 Edit: I never in a million billion would’ve thought I’d like a powdery lipstick scent, but I love JHAG Lipstick Fever. It’s got a bright raspberry note at the top that makes it modern to me. 😍

A whiff of wafflecone seems to be regularly priced about $30 less than the rest of the others so I don't think it's a sale or anything. Also I read Winter Nights is a collab between Josh Meyer from imaginary authors and dasein - I was excited to see olfactive had samples of it!

I actually have an extra full bottle of Yog Nog from the Lush Kitchen (the Lush Kitchen is no longer around like it used to be). I love it so much that I had to have a backup. If you fall in love, hmu! It's seasonal for sure but I don't think it's in their normal range, or made anymore. ☹️
If you want like a spicy juicyfruit bubblegum vibe perfume but it's spency try dolce almafi by xerjoff. So unique and I love it!perfect for the holidays.to my nose anyway.

Guaiacol smells like smoky, woody vanilla. And I suspect the saffron/leather note in the Lake & Sky is safraleine: saffron, leather and bsndaids really sums that molecule up. I can't guess what natural saffron must cost to use in a perfume, so it has to be a synthetic. Carrot is usually carrot seed oil, which is slightly orris-like and very earthy smelling. Not very carrotty at all.
I just received a sample of Eyes Closed and, based on the notes, I really wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I do. I honestly thought it was going to smell bath and body work Christmas mist with the cinnamon, carrot and ginger notes 😂 but there’s something really intimate and nostalgic for me with the way it expresses on the skin. I don’t know how to describe it except “it smells of half forgotten memories”. It’s also a skin scent that has a really good staying power ever though it doesn’t really project (akin to vanilla vibe). Cherry on top, it layers really well with my perfume which is 1996. It’s probably not enough to make me buy a full bottle but I throw out in disgust most perfume samples and I’ll probably use that one up.

If you want to try like an indie brand try colornoise it's a perfume brand on etsy,has the most realistic scents for example bubblegum,matcha tea ,rainbow sherbert etc..pretty cool brand I stumbled upon on my perfume journey.❤️👌
Afaik, Yog Nog used to be a perfume once, but now it's only a bath product scent. However, there's this new perfume called Turmeric Latte I think, which I've heard people rave about and might be up your alley, it's apparently like a sweeter, chai latte-esque sister to TF Tobacco Vanille!
I had yog nog body mist it’s so good I used to use it all the time. I mixed it with jo Malone ginger buscuit perfume which a rare one from them. Yog nog they have in a new soap that feels like a marshmallow. But it’s a very common Christmas scent from them. Yuzu and coco is my favorite. It’s a orange chocolate smell.

Yog nog is an older fragrance from LUSH. It’s been discontinued. Hopefully they’ll bring it back. Turmeric Latte is out for Christmas. It’s beautiful. I got the small one and went back for the big bottle. If you like spicy and a bit sweet you might like the body spray of Lord of Misrule. It’s sweeter than the perfume. I love fragrance so much😊
I sampled Dasein fragrance through Birchbox. I'm obsessed with their Summer. I haven't found another perfume yet with actual cilantro (not coriander!) as a note. It's soooooo good.

That Kayali fragrance sounds DELICIOUS 😋 .. my favorite Kayali is Elixir 11 and at first sniff I was like "WTF is this?" And then I wore it. And kept wanting to smell it... and then everyday since I keep thinking about that scent. Out of ALLL of my perfumes I keep coming back to that perfume! .. the only other fragrance I love like that is the Dossier dupe of Bakarat (hav no idea how to spell it).

Hi Lauren, first of all I'm new and LOViNG your channels!! I only just discovered you last month because of the advent calenders! I didn't even know there was such a thing til now (I mean beauty n perfume) and it's made my life lol! I also have always loved perfume since I was a child, one of my fantasy jobs was to work in the industry in Paris mixing up my own scents and designing bottles! 1st video and i'm already jotting down names lol! So I do have a question which I'm wondering if you could answer? There's a perfume that was discontinued 'Aramis New West for women' it was an iconic perfume in the early 90s and I have no idea why they cancelled it as it was so popular and inexpensive?! I suppose the only thing I've ever smelled close to it was 'Escape' by Calvin Klein but not enough and different at the same time, I always thought it was a watermelon, spa beachy sent, think it had some ylang ylang in there too, it lasted ages was strong n sweet but not too heavy. I don't know if you've ever smelled it but I was wondering if you knew of a good dupe or designer scent that smells the same?! Finding that would remake my life all over again!! lol Thank you!♥💄🍉🌷🌼🌺🌹🌸💆♀ ps oh and I wanted to thank you for your recent mental health check video you made the other day! Eyes Closed is so intriguing to me, I love a makeup-y scent. I found Bel Rebel Bubble Gum by browsing around Fragrantica too and wanted to test it. I don't know anymore considering your review, I'm allergic to that bubble gum medicine (amoxicillin) 😂. But I do really like Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum.
Tha Vanilla Royale 64 is SOOOOOO GOOD!!!! And I hate Patchouli in 98% of fragrances! They have a new cult classic on their hands for sure. I am getting a 100ml back up on 11/16 lol

I’m kind of bummed. I got the more expensive perfume sampler during the Sephora sale that had JHAG Not a Perfume and By the Fireplace (my all time fave). I had a ton of samples for years of not a perfum and loved it so I opted to get the big bottle of it with coupon instead of By the fireplace and not the not a Perfume is just meh to me. I can barely smell it, if at all sometimes and it doesn’t last. I wish l could exchange it for the By the Fireplace
I just bought the Santal Gray perfume from Ulta and it smells good on paper. But when I spray on my body it turns reallly weird. And I hate it! It is so strange. It reminds me almost of that perfume PAPER (I forget who makes it) but I dunnoo
It’s so weird to me that Skylar chose to do rollerballs instead of spray bottles. That’s the only reason I haven’t signed up for the scent club. 🤷♀️😒 So the bubblegum one smells like kids amoxicillin! 😂 no thanks

Hi Lauren, first of all I'm new and LOViNG your channels!! I only just discovered you last month because of the advent calenders! I didn't even know there was such a thing til now (I mean beauty n perfume) and it's made my life lol!
I also have always loved perfume since I was a child, one of my fantasy jobs was to work in the industry in Paris mixing up my own scents and designing bottles! 1st video and i'm already jotting down names lol!
So I do have a question which I'm wondering if you could answer? There's a perfume that was discontinued 'Aramis New West for women' it was an iconic perfume in the early 90s and I have no idea why they cancelled it as it was so popular and inexpensive?! I suppose the only thing I've ever smelled close to it was 'Escape' by Calvin Klein but not enough and different at the same time, I always thought it was a watermelon, spa beachy sent, think it had some ylang ylang in there too, it lasted ages was strong n sweet but not too heavy.
I don't know if you've ever smelled it but I was wondering if you knew of a good dupe or designer scent that smells the same?! Finding that would remake my life all over again!! lol Thank you!♥💄🍉🌷🌼🌺🌹🌸💆♀

Eyes Closed is so intriguing to me, I love a makeup-y scent. I found Bel Rebel Bubble Gum by browsing around Fragrantica too and wanted to test it. I don't know anymore considering your review, I'm allergic to that bubble gum medicine (amoxicillin) 😂. But I do really like Moschino Toy 2 Bubble Gum.
Tha Vanilla Royale 64 is SOOOOOO GOOD!!!! And I hate Patchouli in 98% of fragrances! They have a new cult classic on their hands for sure. I am getting a 100ml back up on 11/16 lol

Damn, I so want a yognog perfume or body spray. I hate lush, but yognog smell is so so so good, this year they had nothing except disappointing soap 😢
I’m kind of bummed. I got the more expensive perfume sampler during the Sephora sale that had JHAG Not a Perfume and By the Fireplace (my all time fave). I had a ton of samples for years of not a perfum and loved it so I opted to get the big bottle of it with coupon instead of By the fireplace and not the not a Perfume is just meh to me. I can barely smell it, if at all sometimes and it doesn’t last. I wish l could exchange it for the By the Fireplace

I just bought the Santal Gray perfume from Ulta and it smells good on paper. But when I spray on my body it turns reallly weird. And I hate it! It is so strange. It reminds me almost of that perfume PAPER (I forget who makes it) but I dunnoo

Some of these descriptions sound more like dessert rather than perfum.
Frustration smells like a smoker to me. Like the clothes of a person who is a chain smoker. I couldn’t smell anything else.
